OK folks topic of discussion today is karma.

Ah yes karma. What a wonderful word. We toss it around every day like some little toy that bounces up and down. But how true a word. As you sow so shall you reap I believe is a good way of expressing it.

In sns we have seen the effects of karma from day 1. Gopi, poor innocent Gopi, suffered major injustices at the hands of her uncle, aunt, and cousin.

Then we have Rashi. Spoilt, pampered, brought up to never raise a hand in hard work. Always wishing evil on her cousin and doing her best to make sure it happens too.

Ah but neither reckoned on karma. That little, 5 letter word that people only mention to point fingers at others, forgetting the four pointing right back at them. Funny thing that karma... it affects us all. No-one is immune.

Karma gave Gopi her just rewards and Rashi has got her just deserts. One will always be satisfied with her lot in life and the other will always crave more. Leaving her constantly unhappy with her lot. For we all know that happiness stems from within.

So what can we learn from this? Be very wary of karma. And the next time you run around feeling sorry for yourself and throwing all your toys out of the cot for some silly reason ask yourself... what exactly did I do to deserve this? Cos you do deserve it. You deserve it in bucket-loads. Or else karma would not be dishing it out to you!

Now I am going to go and ask myself exactly what did I do to deserve to be saddled with a silly serial like sns for entertainment 🤣

There is no concept of Karma in this show

No good actions lead to good results.

Gopi, she cares for everyone, can't see anyone in pain, always gets the short end of the stick. For the better part of her marriage, she was hated by her husband
Even now she is scolded for the smallest things by her MIL as though she were a child

Meanwhile Raashi, who is the epitome of wicked deeds and bad decisions, never gets her comeuppance.
Raashi doesn't change because she has never before faced the consequences of her actions. She keeps doing kalakaaris and gets away with it each and every time.

I really hope people arent learning actual life lessons from this show😆

I disagree Yuks lol. To a certain extent Gopi is proving that by doing nothing bad to anyone else although she may be treated badly she is still happy. Karma has rewarded her by granting her inner peace and the joy of her Kanhaji.

Rashi on the other hand may seem to be getting away with everything. But karma is rewarding her with a deep unhappiness. She will never be satisfied until she changes her attitude and starts doing good deeds.

You are right on the no-one learning anything good from it though. But people will pick up the bad things very quickly! lol.

Is karma real😕? So far I see it is as fiction which is not very evident in the soap.

Karma is definitely not evident in this soap...my girl Rashi has gotten away with attempted murder and yet she smiles and goes on her way...some times life just sucks when you're a good person and when you're evil you get rewarded...such is life.🤔

A topical post Ashwin.

To your question: So what can we learn from this?

Do what you do unto others and reap the rewards that you sow. This works at all levels for very much all and sundry in SNS, not only Gopi and Rashi. It sits at nearly every level.

The question to ask is what has bought about for the karma that both Jigar and Parag are enduring?

You forgot Dhawal and Jeetu bhai! 🤣

Poor men. What ill deeds must they have done in past lives to suffer the fate of wives like banshees! 😆

They are the least seen hence the easiest to forget!

Absolutely true.
