Giaa states, "I did not leave the show because I wanted to take part in the reality series. My producer was torturing me. So I chose to leave."

The actress says that her contract with the soap's producer clearly stated that she could terminate the contract at her own will. Giaa argues that the producer had no right to take action against her or badmouth her in the industry. Giaa points out, "The buzz that I won't be allowed to work on any other show is a rumour. No one else should have any problem."

Ask her what she feels about an alleged bias towards professional dancers on the reality show that she has just exited, and the actress chooses to play it safe. She says, "Ritwik Dhanjani and Isha Sharwani are trained dancers, while we learnt all these new dance forms in just three days. So there is no comparison between us."
