Hey green tea gia is not the first actress to be replaced overnight neither will she be the last. Remember dil mil gaye riddhima was played by 3 actresses the changes happened overnight and yes each actress was accepted and loved. I guess you have never seen hindi serials before people usually accept the new face within days .
Agreed, there are plenty of cases where actors get replaced or leave and the show adjusts accordingly.
-Mihir from Kyun ki Saas Bhi was replaced plenty of times.
-The character "Mona" from Ram Milayi Jodi on Zee was originally played by Priyal Gor but she was replaced with Sara Khan. Funny enough, their male lead was replaced after a while as well.
-Reshmi Desai left Uttaran and they did the best they could to adjust. The show still shows up on the trp charts.
-The main character "Maanav" from Pavitra Rishta was replaced. They also took out a bunch of actors and added new ones for the sake of the time leap. It's still on trp charts.
-Avika and Avinaash left Balika Vadhu when it was time for a leap. The characters are now portrayed by Pratushya Bannerjee and Shashank Vyas.
-Pratigya's older sister in law was played by a different actress when the show started. The actor who played her brother was replaced too.
-Apparently Khushi and Payal's mother in IPKKND was played by another actress when the show started.
Stuff is like this is extremely common in Hindi TV shows. I can even go back as far as Hum Paanch.
