Question regarding actors returning

I know there have been plenty of shows where actors come and go for various reasons and the characters are played by different people.

I also know that if the changes are extreme in certain shows, then usually the show ends quickly. But shows have also survived fairly well despite the changes in actors.

Anyways, has there have been a case where an actor left a show, was replaced, but then came back and took over again? I'm honestly curious because I've never heard of this happening, but then again I just started watching Indian serials less than a year ago.

yeah it happened once,..

and it happened with Tulsi aka Smriti Irani,.. she left the show Gautami Kapoor played tulsi for some time and later Smriti came back..

that time it was a crazy crazy situations and equations between Ekta.. Smriti and Star .. at the end of the day Star aborted the show.. with no proper ending ..

and it is because the actress in question is Smriti Irani and the producer is Ekta.. such a thing was possible.. where they pulled some things at the end of the day it was Smriti's decision to join the show ...

rati pandey in mjht was shown dead... but was brought back to te show... though this show was on star one and not star plus...

the SP show kumkum pyaara sa bandhan... the leads ex was brought in the show, who was dead w/n a month of the shows running...

I forgot about this! I never saw the show itself but I heard about some drama with Kyun Ki Saas Bhi. But when you have a big name like Ekta Kapoor, a lot of crazy things can happen 😕

The point of my question was to see if Jia could actually be asked by SP to come back (whether she wants to is another issue).
