I have been walking around like a zombie in office still in shock...people keep saying this happens in tv serials but i doubt if a change in actor has been done in such a ruthless way...giving the audience no time to react!
in fact after reading nazim's article i feel even the actors were not given time to get used to the change..remember we are just watching the show and yet so emotionally involved..spare a thoughtt for the cast and crew..i have seen most of their off screen segments and there seems to be genuine bonding and friendship amongst them...there was a cute gina segment just a few days back!so obviously everyone was kept in the dark and this decision couldnt have been taken in a night...obviously the producers have done this in a planned manner but they didnt bother to take their cast in the loop..
few days back i saw a Movers & shakers segment with koki and she was almost in tears when shekhar suman asked if she has thought about the end of SNS...
to be very honest i started watching SNS because i was intrigued by Ahem's character and loved Nazim (still do)..i honestly get bored and bothered if i have to watch any episode without him..but my mother has been watching it from day 1 and on and off i caught a few episodes in the beginning with her...i couldnt get his character..he was ruthless yet honest and straightforward and yet caring towards gopi in her time of need though he hated her..and got hooked from the education track..loved how they slowly transformed Ahem's character..
my dad never watches tv serials, but even he caught a few episodes and mentioned that nazim has portrayed the character really well..
but Gia's exit is not going to be the only factor leading to SNS downfall..its already on a downward trend after Gopi recovery track...CVs have lost the plot completely with the following tracks:
All Urki tracks - never made any sense why they were included in the first place
Holi track - this was most dreadful, that start of butchering Ahem's character...what purpose did it serve for Gohem to have an SD and then Ahem forgetting it!!??
Anita track - whatever was left of Ahem's character was destroyed in this track...Ahem was always portrayed as a strong, upfront, straightforward guy who doesnt take any kind of nonsense lying down and they turned him into a bumbling idiot!
so now if i am going to watch the show its only for Nazim/Ahem (more for Nazim than Ahem thanks to CVs😡)..because i have always associated gohem with gina...have seen gopi suffer for 2 yrs through gia and would have felt genuine happiness to see her getting ahem's love...now there is not going to be any emotional attachment...
there is an important lesson for me here...i never usually watch tv serials but started watching this one and got hooked and emotionally involved...i will never watch any other show again...too much of heartache!!!ðŸ˜
sorry for the unncessary rant...just trying to pacify myself!!!
