This is my personal point of view...

and a knee jerk reaction. Gopi is so childlike and innocent (OK not so innocent, then). But her state of mind is not that of an adult. For her to be pregnant, I fear, that it will be like watching a child barely into puberty, having to face a frightening situation. Gopi would be a loving mum, but mentally, I do not think she is ready and nor is she prepared. As I said, this is a knee jerk reaction and just my point of view.

Neither Gopi nor Aham are fit to be parents right now. They haven't even become teenagers yet!

Gopi should become a more self assured woman..having a child too soon in life is a perfect recipe for disaster. My granny's generation believed in marrying early and having a child within a year of marriage, but things have changed and even couples opting for an arranged marriage are clear about not wanting a child before they build a strong relationship. The child would be adored by his parents and grandparents--no doubt about it...but what if Gopi has post natal depression etc etc...will the rest of the family understand her condition...Princess Diana had a tough time raising Prince William and Harry ...the initial years at least...Gopi shouldn't go through a similar emotional storm

Agreed. Both of them are not ready to become parents. Its too early.
