Gopi, Kokila, Rashi and Anita were all at the venue where the singing competition was going to be held. Gopi's throat was sore due to all the coughing she had done during the day and she tried convincing Kokila that she should not participate.
Gopi: Maji, I think I should withdraw from the competition since my throat is sore and I can't even speak properly.
Before Gopi could finish what she was trying to say Anita said with her usual fake sweetness and a look of triumph on her face
Anita: It's ok if you are scared and want to withdraw from the competition Gopi. I'll manage everything. Main hoon na.
Gopi felt really bad for letting her maji down and was nearly in tears and Kokila got really angry seeing how insensitive Anita was but before she could say anything she heard Aham's voice
Aham: Gopi will not withdraw from the competition Anita. She will sing today and also win this competition just like she always wins in everything she does.
Anita was shocked to hear Aham speak on Gopi's behalf and Kokila smirked at her giving her an I told you so look.
Rashi: Lekin Jiju, how can Gopi sing?
Kokila: Why can't she sing Rashi? What happened to Gopi vau?
Aham: Woh mom.. Someone fried dried chillies in the kitchen this morning and left it on the gas and and Gopi's voice was affected due to the smoke. She has been coughing all day.
Kokila put her hand lovingly on Gopi's head and asked worriedly
Kokila: Oh God Gopi vau! Are you ok?
Gopi looked at Koki with tears in her eyes and said: I'm fine maji and I'm so sorry I let you down. I know how much this competition is important to you and I'm feeling so bad for not being able to participate.
Kokila had tears in her eyes and she hugged Gopi saying
Kokila: You are more important than any competition in the world to me Gopi vau. You have been suffering all day and did not even tell your maji? How can you be so selfless?
Before Gopi could say anything Aham broke up the crying duo and said
Aham: Don't worry mom. Gopi, you are going to be fine and will win this competition today. Here just drink this and see how you will be miraculously cured.
Kokila looked at Aham and asked: What is this Aham?
Aham smiled at his mom and said: Mom, remember when I had that throat infection in childhood and no amount of medication worked on me and baa made her special kara for me which cured me immediately and I got my normal voice back?
Kokila: Haan Aham but did you ask baa to make this kara?
Aham: No mom! I would never let baa work in the kitchen even if I was starving! I took the recipe from her and made this kara for Gopi myself.
Everyone was so shocked that their jaws dropped to the floor and Gopi nearly fainted hearing that her Ahamji worked in the kitched.
Kokila: What? Did you just say you made this yourself Aham? But you never even stepped in the kitchen before and we even had to employ a chef for you when you were in USA.
Aham smiled sheepishly at kokila and said: Well meethi helped me by giving me all the ingrediants I asked but I made it myself. I know I've never stepped in the kitchen before mom but I can do anything for my Gopi.
Gopi felt really blessed hearing this and smiled shyly at Aham. Kokila and Rashi were both very happy to hear this and Anita was shocked. She could not believe that Aham was giving this Gopi so much importance just to make his mom happy.
Rashi: Gopi come on drink the kara and thank jiju.
Aham held the glass to Gopi's mouth and made her drink the kara staring lovingly in her eyes.
Gopi: Thank you Ahamji😊
Gopi was miraculously cured and she even won the competition.
