There wasnt anything new, Ahem woke to an empty room, his clothes and other things laid down on the bed. He tried his level best to gain Gopi's attention, but failed and on the other hand, Anita gave him too much attention which bugged him. Before, leaving to office, Ahem went to his room and took a box from the lower rack of his cupboard and carefully placed it in Gopi's cupboard along with a note and a red rose, inhaling deeply he left for office.

After, a few hours, Gopi came to her room to place a few sarees in the cupboard and on opening the cupboard, she was surprised to see a box, a note on it and a red rose. Gopi carefully took out all the 3 things from her cupboard and went to her bed, she took the letter, on which this was written :=

Gopi, since past few days am trying to apologise for my mistake, but circumstnaces aint allowing me to do it. I know Gopi.. I know it very well I have hurted you immensely & i also know that my sorry isnt any worthy of it. But, still Gopi i wont stop myself from apologising at all, Gopi am extremely very very sorry to hurt you and to say those hurtful words.
Gopi, please forgive me and trust me Gopi, my inbtentions werent to hurt at all, am ready to accept any punishment, but please Gopi talk to me. I cant take your silence any more. Please Gopi, please talk to me.. Please..

Gopi's eyes were brimmed with tears and then she opened the gift and was more surprised to see a green sari and also another note in it, which had this written on it :=

I know, green isnt your favourite colour, but thats mine. Gopi, the day you have decided to forgive, I want you to wear this saree. I hope, the day isnt too far. Please forgive me and talk to me.. Please Gopi...

Gopi caressed the saree and allowed the tears to roll down her cheek. Rashi came to her room, searching for Gopi, seeing her cry Rashi enquired "what happened Gopi?? Why are you crying?? (pause) Did that Anita say something to you??" "nothing happened Rashiben" Gopi ans'd her, "then why are you crying?? tell me something at least.." Gopi told her "Rashiben, please allow to me talk to Ahemji.. please.. see rashiben, i have already troubled him alot with my silent treatment but not any more.. He is very upset with my behaviour towards him, I know Rashiben he shouldnt have blasted on me.. But, Rashiben he has realised his mistake (pause) Rashiben when anyone realises his mistake, we should forgive them and Ahemji has realised it... Please Rashiben take back your vachan.. Please". Rashi smiled at Gopi and said "Gopi, i was here to tell you the same thing. I had noticed his fallen face at the breakfast table and had decided to tell you then itself, but because of work i couldnt. (pause, Rashi sees the saree) Gopi, Jeeju bought this saree for you??" Gopi blushed and nodded a yes. "wow gopi, the saree is just so beautiful..(pause) Gopi, i have an idea (Gopi gives her a questioning look) Gopi, pretend like you havent read the note and behave like your still ignoring jeeju (pause) when we all drift to our rooms in the night, you wear this saree and give him a surprise.. what say??" Gopi thought for awhile and slowly agreed to it.

"Gopi, i forgot, i had to tell something really important" Rashi said "what is it, Rashiben??" Gopi questioned her back "Gopi (pause) i just over heard kakiji and mummyji talking. Kakiji has called a pandit, who'l be getting few marriage proposals for Anita. If all goes well, Anita will be soon parcelled out from this house (pause) after that you and jeeju, can start your life afresh.. (pause) listen to me carefully.. Anita is very smart, she might not agree to the marriage proposals.. but (pause) Gopi, you see to it that by no means she gets an oppourtunity to spend time with jeeju.. you'l need to be very clever (pause) i'l be there with you.. but not always.. so promise me one thing that, you'l be extra careful with Anita" Gopi smiles and says "promise" and they both smile at each other.

It was evening, Ahem arrived to be welcomed by Anita, he was given his green tea again by Anita, her precense around him was getting on his nerves and gopi was still avoiding him. Ahem was very upset because, he thought that Gopi hadnt forgiven him yet and hadnt seen the gift which he had left for her, her ignorance continued till dinner.

After finishing the disscussion of a meeting with Chirag, Ahem was on his way to his room, thats when Anita called him out "Ahem (he stopped and she walks to him and Rashi notices her) Ahem.. have you done with your work (he nods a yes) actually ahem.. woh.. since a long time i haevnt had an ice cream (pause) so if you dont mind can you accompany to the ice-cream parlour nearby (pause)??" Meanwhile Rashi heard the conversation and immediately called Gopi on her cell and said "Gopi, have you drapped the saree, which jeeju gave you??" "No, Rashiben.. i was just about to" "Gopi, hide that saree in the cupboard again and come out immediately (pause) Anita is persuading jeeju to take her to the ice-cream parlour, you come out immediately and back fire her plan. If need arises, il come to help you out. But, you come quickly" Gopi, hurriedly kept the saree in the cupboard and went out.

"Ahemjii (Gopi walks towards Ahem) you still awake?? you should be sleeping by now isnt it?? " Ahem looked at Gopi with confusion. "Gopi (pause) you go and sleep, actually i wanted to have an ice-cream.. Soo" "Anitaben, its alright if you wnat to have an ice-cream, but Ahemjii has an important meeting tomorrow in the office, for which he has to get up early and leavre early too (pause) if he stays awake till late night, he'l run behind his schedule.. (Gopi interrupetd Anita, to which Anita gave her a narrow look) it'l be better if he goes to sleep right now (Gopi faces Ahem)
Ahemjii, should i wake up at 5.30 in the morning??" Ahem was all surprised to see this new Gopi in front of him and stood dumbstruck.

Rashi stepped in "Gopi, its good you awake till now (walks towards GoHem and Anita)actually, i wanted to have an ice-cream.. its been ages, i tried searching in the fridge, but aint getting it..(pause) anita, good even your here.. you should try out the chocolate flavour ice-cream, its yummy.. Gopi, hurry up tell me where it is??" "Rashiben, its in the freezer" Gopi ans'd her smilingly. "Anita, comes lets go" Rashi said "where Rashi??" Anita asked "ofcourse to have ice-cream Rashi said "well... actually.. you know" "You know what, i dont like to eat ice-creams alone. i need a company with me (pause) Gopi doesnt like the smell of the ice-creams so there is no point asking her company (pause) you come with me and we can do some gossiping also " Rashi interuppted Anita and without waiting for her ans Rashi dragged Anita along with her. Ahem stood all surprised and confused to the ficaso in front of him, he turn to face Gopi and said "thanks Gopi" with a smile on his face, it was after many days Gopi smiled back at him, before he could say anything else, Gopi wished him a good night and went to their room, and arranged her bed and also helped him arrange his bed on the couch and they drifted to sleep, but Ahem had a doubt whether Gopi had forgiven him or not, he still doubted whether Gopi had seen the gift or not.
