PART TEN "Hello mummy" Rashi said immediately once urmi received her call, "shu che Rashi dikra??" Urmi said. "Mummy, i have to tell you something" "say it" "Mummy, that Anita has agreed to marry Arvind" "Arvind??!! Who is this Arvind??" "Mummy, that kagdi had called a pandit who had few marital proposals for Anita. Arvind was the one the whom kagdi selected and he alng with his family visited us this evening and both agreed for the marriage." Rashi said. "whats the issue then??" Urmi enquired "mummy the issue is that, few days back this Anita was into vowing jeeju and now suddenly she has agreed to marry Arvind (pause) am very sure, she surely upto some or the other KK" "so what do you want?? do want that Anita to stay in the MM forever and dominate you??" Urmi enquired again "noways, mummy i can tolerate that gawaar Gopi, but not this Anita" "then isnt it good that she has agreed to marry Arvind??" "yes mummy, (pause) maybe with that i feel less gulity of being the reason to call off her marriage with Nilesh" Rashi said."arey gadhedi, chup.. (pause) what someone over hears this, our KK will be out" urmi responded, "haa.. sorry mummy.." There is a knock on her door and she says "mummy, there is someone at the door, il call you later JSK" "theek che, JSK" with this UrShi hung the call and Rashi goes to open the door.
The person at the door kept knocking at the door and this irritated Rashi, so in a huff she opened the door and was shocked to see Anita at her door. "Anita?!?! what happened??" why were you banging the door this hard.. am not a deaf person" Rashi said. "Ohh... am extremely sorry Rashi, but i thought you'd be sleeping" Anita responded, "whatever(pause) what is it Anita? what do you want?" Rashi enquired, "nothing, just wanted to return this saree.." Anita said. "Ohhh.. the mandi market saree!! (pause) must say Anita, everyone liked you in this saree and espcly your would be MIL (pause) dont you think that, this saree turned out to be your lucky mascot topday. (Anita is just glaring at her) I suggest, you should keep the saree with you as your lucky mascot and anyways, this mandi market saree.. this colour suits you.." Rashi said. Anita could no longer take it from her said "Rashi, mind your tounge okay.. dont you dare and talk to me like that.. il..." "Anita??!! Rashi??!! What happened?? what are you'l discussing this late??" Jigar enquired and this interrupted Anita's words, seeing Jigarapproach them Anita and Rashi, schooled their faces. Rashi in sugarcoated words said jigarji.. see naa... ANita has liked this saree so much, but still she is returning it back to me" "Anita, if you have liked the saree so much then keep it with you, am pretty sure Rashi wont mind that, hai naa rashi??" Jiagr said. "no Jigarji.. why will i mind it, rather i was suggessting the same to her" Rashi said, "no.. no.. Jigar.. there is absolute no need of it (pause) as it is I dont wear sarees.. I think rashi should take it back, she wears sarees" Anita said " Anita.. but after your marriage you'l wearing sarees isnt it? mb not regularly but atleast occassionally.. atleast for that reason keep it (pause) you deny it now, trust me.. my heart will be shattered.. Jigarji.. please tell her somethig.." Rashi added.. jiagr smiled and rashi and said "Anita, please to keep rashi's heart atleast keep this saree.. (pause) consider this to be a congratulatory token from both of us" Jigar added. rashi tried hard to control her laughter and further added "yes, Anita.. Jigarjii is very right... consider this saree as a gift from both of us.. and as you the gifts are meant to be cherished and not returned.." Anita, could no longer handle arguing with Rashi and said "fine.. il take this" hearing this Rashi smirked and Anita glared at her and with this she left Raji alone.
RaJi walked into their room and settled on the bed, but Rashi couldnt stop having a victorious smile on her face, Jigar noticed her smile and questioned "what happened Rashi, why are you smiling so much??" "Jigarji.. actually.. i was thinking that, after so many days, we'l be having a marriage environment n the house.. the house will be buzzing with so many arrangements... various pre marriage functuions like enagement.. rokaa.. mehendi.. haldii.. sangeet will be hheld.. there will be music and dnacing and singing.. it'l be so much fun.."Rashi said excidetely. jiagr smiled at her excitement and said "you're very right.." "jiagrji.. you know.. i have already decided which sarees il be wearing for the various fuctions" she continued "well, that means il be running short of money soon" jiagr said teasingly. rashi was shocked to hear him say this and they both shared an eye lock, rashi felt shy and looked away and noticing the wall clock she said "jigarjii.. its quite late.. we should sleep now" he agreed to this and RaJi drifted to sleep.
Gopi, walked into their room with the water jug and placed it on the night table, she looked around and didnt see Ahem. But, she saw the restroom lights on and realised that he was in there. Gopi started arranging the bed and was quite happy and it reflected in a wonderful smile playing on her lips. Ahem came oput opf the restroom and sat on the other side of the bed and said "gopi.. what happened?? you seem to be very happy.. wont you share it with me??" he extended his hand, and she gave her hand in his and slowly settled on the bed, he put his arm across her shoulder and pulled her closer to him, gopi couldnt stop blushing with their proximity and slowly said "Ahemji.. am very happy for Anitaben. Finally, she has got what she desrves, alot of happiness. Kahanaji, has blessed her by sending Arvindji in her life. (Pause) now, Anitaben will have someone in her life, who'l be by her side through thick and thin, who'l support her, when she'l need some.. who'l giove the happiness of the entire world and most importantly will love her immensely and unconditionally... who'l look after her every small and big need..." Ahem kept looking at Gopi as the genuiness of her words could be easily read in her eyes, he was lost in his thoughts how can anyone be this geninue?? Gopi's kahanajii.. thank you so much for gifting me with Gopi... I promise. il never hurt or cause her any pain knowingly or unknowingly. Gopi realsied taht Ahem wasnt respondind, so she shook him and called him "Ahemjii.. what happened?? what are you thinking about??" she enquired and he just shook his head in a no. Ahem said "Gopi.. i want to tell you something" "jiii.. say" "not now.. il tell you, when the right time arrives (pause) because this isnt the right time and its pretty late... and anyways you have to get up early right?? (pause) we should sleep" Gopi smiled at him and they both got themselves layed on the bed, "Good Night, Gopi (Ahem kissed her forehead)" "Good Night, Ahemji" GoHem shared an eye lock and after cuddling in each other arms they drifted to sleep.
The next day came in, GoShi meyt at the passage and wishing each other a good morning, they went to the temple to take kahanajis darshaan. Rashi said "Gopi, you clean the temple.. and set out the thaali for aaraati and till then il start with the breakfast preparations" "jii, Rashiben" saying this Gopi went ahead with cleaning the temple and rashi went to the kitchen. After getting done with the temple cleaning and aaraati thaali reday, gopi went to the kitchen and hepled Rashi with the breakfast. All the Modi members were down by now icnluding Anita, all of them went to the temple and the rotuine continued with Gopi singing the aaraati and after that giving the prasaad to everyone, this rotinue was now getting on Anitas nerves and was consistently yawning during the pooja and this was irritating Koki to the core, but she remained quite and said nothing.
The breakfast table was ready, all were at the breakfast table and were being served by GoShi. RaJi and GoHem continued having their small eye locks. Anita was noticing this interaction between Gohem was hating it to the core. Ahem extended his hand to get the pickle bottle and at the sametime Gopi extended her hand to get the bottle and GoHem's hand met and they were having an eyelock, but Jigar suddenly started singing "Aakhon hi aakhon main ishaara ho gayaa.. Bithe- baithe jeene ka saahara mil gayaa..." both GoHem realsied this and withdrew their hands immidiatley and all the others at the table were teasing them and giggling, but Anita was roasting in anger and couldnt atke it anymore and was to leave the table, Rashi noticed her and said "Anitaa.. what happened?? wher are you going?? (pause) your breakfast... " "am done with it" Anita said and left the table in a huff, noone at the table cared about her and continued giving GoHem a tough time at the breakfast, and they were left nothing apart from blushing and kept feeling embrassed. Gohem could no longer take the tease, gopi said "il get tea for everyone" and saying this she fleed away into the kitchen and seeing her Ahem too said " I have to get my file and my bag" and fleed away to their room, which left the others at the table laughing even more harder.
Ater about 15mints Ahem came down with his lappy bag. Koki noticed him and called him, he walked upto the table still feeling embrassed with the tease. Koki said "Ahem dikraa.. i am planning to call panditji this evening.. to fix Anita n Arvinds engagement date.." "mom, there is no need to call the pandit" he said "why Ahem??" she enquired, "mom, please trust me"
he said "Ahem w/o giving me the valid reason to call off this marriage.. how do expect me to trust you?" she said "mom, i believe noone should be pressuirised to get married, because in such a relationship no partners live a happy life and have to carry the burdern of the relatioship for a lifetime" saying this Ahem started moving towards the door, even before getting enquired further by his mother or any other memeber. Ahem's decision left everyone stunned at the table. Rashi noticed Anita at the staircase, with a smirk on her face.
