Can someone pls tell what is stopping Ahem to take the relationship forward. I see the following points in their relationship.

1. Both of them are physically attacted to each other.

2. Both of them are emotionally tuned. They understand each other well to preempt their actions.

3. They sleep in the same damn room, fu****g room meters apart, how can they not want to hold and hug and kiss each other. How can they not have a moment of weakness where they want give in to their desires. ( Holi does not count as Ahem was intoxicated).

3A. Comming to Holi, Ahem made love to gopi (not confirmed), because his heart and mind wanted to do all along and hence he did what he wanted to do, when his relfexes were down and he gave in to his desires unknowingly. But the bottom line is that he want to be close to GOPI, so why not acknowlede it?

4. Ahem has dreams making love to Gopi, how can a man not want to make love to his wife.

5. How can a husband just kiss his wife on his cheek and let her run off ? In a normal situation a kiss leads to much more.

6. Ajhem almost lost his mind when Gopi was injured. How can he not want to tell her how much he loves her when she was well again.

7. Ahem was so restless when Gopi went away to her Mama's place for a night, then how can he not confess his love to her and then he can rightfully debar her from ever going away from him ever.

i wanted to post a similar topic earlier

i think the cvs are dragging it too much that it makes nonsense (ahem kissing her and the next scene jumps to the morning what happened in the night after the dinner? how was their reaction to the kiss ? did they have any talk on it ?

it does take time( days or months) to confess but not years

2 years already completed but still no confession

ahem has managed to only to give gopi a soft kiss

sometimes gets bored

but still i am hooked to the show hoping he will make " it " soon

the show could not gain trps due to the anitha track so the cvs inserted the kiss just for trps

but it seemed as though they gave a lollypo( kissiing scene) to a child(viewers) who was crying for something else (gohem confession) to calm down the child

I think it's the damned vows she took back, but I feel like I'm giving him too much credit.

Why doesn't he just ask her to take them back? It's not like Gopi will refuse him. Does he expect that some day, he'll be sure that Gopi is the one for him and then make his move?

Here, we see that an adarsh beta is walking on thin ice by lying to his param pujya Matashri, but at the same time, that same man has no thoughts to rectify his marriage. And no, I don't call having a monotonous conversation and saying "Thank you" and "Sorry" taking a step forward. He's not apologizing for the crap he has done. He is apologizing for bumping into her. Neither is he thanking her for being in his life. He's thanking her for giving him his hanky.

I apologize for my rant. I'm going into my cave now.

i do agree with you

by just saying sorry or thanks doesn't rectify for what he has done in the past

when is he going to realise that he had treated her like a slave

it doen't make justice to just forget how he behaved in the past

simply moving forward the relation by kissing and mere touch will not do

we need his realisation before anything else

Yes we are alll hooked to Ahem and Gopi, as all of us have invested so much time in the couple with want to see them sizzle with romance. But guess the CV's dont get the hint.

@bold - your observation is spot on. They have to move on the story. Why do they make Ahem look so superficial>?

The reason is simple people dont want to see shows once happy ending is near so obviously they are dragging it

But dont they realise that the dragging is also charing the audience away. They have not struck the right balance.

A2ZV, you have made perfect sense here. Ahemji is way past the friendship mode. He knows his wife is willing and is comfortable with him. It has been two years. The CV's should now know that they are making Ahemji character look ridiculous and gay. He comes across as a strong, powerful, and hot-blooded male. On top of it with the recent tears for Anita, he has become a sensitive and conscientious man too thanks to his wife. If he can remember his bad times with his ex-girlfriend, why can't he remember his dark times with his wife. He has to revisit the first year of his marriage and Gopi's taking back of vows and deal with them once and for all to move forward if that's what's stopping him. He will have a clean slate and the viewers would also have a closure.

As far as the CV's are concerned why would they be afraid to finally show Ahemji confess and Gopi having some happiness in her life finally? Are they afraid that the viewers will stop watching? I think then they should all be fired. Can't they come up with interesting stories for a happily married couple? They can bring one of Ahemji's friend as an admirer for Gopi to have a jealousy track, they can show Modis going bankrupt to show how everyone's support in the family, develop Raji and Kinwal (with Umang thrown in the mix) stories, stories with Chirag-Parag, and babies in the family. There are still tens of stories they can build around Gohem. This doesn't need to be the end of it. They are not really creatives if they can't create any magic without the anxiousness of when Gohem will be a real couple in the viewers' minds.
