Shaun that is really a difficult question. However much we ranted and raved at Ahem would we have done anything different? The whole falling on the bed we saw was done in a different time lapse to what the voyeurs saw and it looked bad.
But going back to your question. It would be no use to protest any innocence there and then as the situation would have been made much, much worse. Staying silent would be the option.
As for the hospital, there was absolutely no need to stay all night. She was taken to the hospital. End of. Not your responsibility any more. More than that if your partner has stood by you all night the least you can do is owe her an explaination. She deserves that much.
