Ahem and gopi soon entered a glamorous garment shop.There were loads of choices and varieties of garments.Ahem enquired about men section at the help desk.After the previous stranger's scenario gopi kept nearby ahem all the long but didn't quiet wish to enter the men section.Meanwhile ahem was searching for some good pair of suits for his brother's birthday gift among loads of choices.A sales girl came up to him and enquired whether he would like to check some of the outfits and she would help him out.He glanced at gopi who was just gaping at both of them,and answered..
"No thanks!..ye mere liye nahin hai.."
((No thanks!..this is not for me..))
and moved towards gopi and said..
"Arre tum yahan kya kar rahi ho..hmm?...achha batao ye kaisa hai?.."
((gopi what are you doing here...hmm?..OK tell me how is this one?..))
showing her the suit.Gopi replied in confusion..
"ahemji ye to bohut achha hai lekin..."
((ahemji this is very nice but..))
ahem said..
"lekin kya?.."
((but what?..))
gopi continued..
"wo ahemji..aapne kya ye apne liye liya hai...mera matlab hai ki devarji ke liye bhi to lena hai na?.."
((that ahemji..did you buy it for yourself..i mean we had buy for devarji..isn't it?..))
ahem informed that..
"nahin gopi ye mere liye kaise ho sakta hai...tum bhi na..birthday to jigar ka hai to gift bhi to usi ka hoga na?..''
((no gopi how could it be for me..gopi you just..it's jigar's birthday so the gift is also his..))
gopi got perplexed..
"ahemji...ye..ye devarji ke liye hai?..par.."
((ahemji..this..this is for devarji?..but..))
ahem proceeded..
"haan kyun?.."
((yes why?..))
gopi explained..
"par ahemji devarji ko aapki tarah...mera matlab hai ki devarji ko aadat nahin ye..is tarah ke kapde pehanne ki...unhain jeans pasand hai.."
((but ahemji devarji is not like you..i mean he is not used to wear this kind of dresses..he likes to wear jeans..))
ahem got the point and asked her to chose the best kind of denim jeans and t-shirt for jigar as he can't all these shopping stuff moreover he doesn't know about jigar's choice well.
After shopping gifts,both of them were on their way to house when ahem tried to tease gopi a bit and said..
"to mujhe to laga tha ki tumhain sirf meri aur meri cheezon ki fikr rehti hai lekin jigar ki bhi.."
((i thought that you are worried about me and my things only but jigar too..))
gopi got confused and had no words so ahem continued to flutter her..
"waise jigar ne tumhain apni pasand aur na pasand kab batayi...hmm?.."
((by the way when did jigar told you his likes and dislikes..hmm?..))
gopi got really embarassed but wanted to clear her ahemji's doughts so she spoke up..
"ahemji aisi baat nahin hai...wo main ghar ki bahu hoon to mujhe sabki pasand ka pata hona zaroori hota hai chahe wo pati ho ya devar.."
((ahemji it's not like that..i am the DIL of the house so i have to take care of everybody's likes whether it be my husband or my BIL..))
ahem cut in between..
"achha to pati aur devar mein koi fark nahin hai gopiji?.."
((oh so there is no difference between husband and BIL gopiji?..))
now really gopi had no words but wanted to make her ahemji understand what she meant but gladly they were home so she just pushed out the door and ran into the house.Ahem could do nothing but smirk,giggle and laugh.He surely did love his wife's ways.He surely loved his wife.And that the reason he is going to gift her,her very first present from him tonight.
Rashi saw gopi walking towards her room and stopped her in the midway and asked her..
"gopi tu aa gayi...jigarji ke liye meri taraf se kya liya.."
((gopi you came..what did you brought for jigarji on behalf of me..))
gopi didn't got her sister's point and got mixed up.But rashi understood her face and said..
"oh main to bhool hi gayi tu to apne aur jijoo ki taraf se lene gayi...main thodi jigarji ko kuch dene wali hoon...bhale hi unki patni hi kyun na hoon.."
((oh i forgot you went to buy a gift for jigarji on your and jijoo's behalf..well i'm not going to jigarji anything..eventhough i'm her wife..))
rashi gave gopi an emotional blackmail and left.Gopi felt bad for her but what could she do it was her MIL's order to gift jigar this on behalf of her and ahemji so she couldn't give it to rashiben.
Ahem had brought a gift while he was returning from the office in the evening but unfortunately couldn't see gopi after they returned from the mall.So he decided to wait till bed time and went downstairs for supper.Meanwhile rashi had come to know everything about gopi's gift and thought...
agar main jigarji ko koi gift nahin de sakti to gopi ko bhi koi gift nahin mile gaa..
(if i don't get to give anything to jigarji then gopi won't get her present too..)
sneeked into the room and took out the gift box from ahem's bag and smirked..
