With all his emotions on a roller coaster ride , it clearly showed on Ahem. He was undergoing an upheal of emotions that it started to show on his health !!! The sunrise did not change his mood but the Green tea made by his wife bought him some relief. What he did not realise at that point was her presence was the balm for his wounded heart !!!
At breakfast when Baa commented that in the evening for the wedding that Gopi would wear a beautiful saree & would step out with you & it would make you feel much better, his immediate attention turned towards Gopi but as the words sank down that they were going to the wedding, the pain returned back to him. In his pain he failed to realise the beauty & shy smile on his wife's face who had a hope on her face that he would enjoy & appreciate her beauty which was only for him !!! With his family & mom deciding that the entire family would go to the wedding & as they did not agree to leave him out, Ahem knew he did not have an option but go to the wedding !!! Ahem's heart was in a turmoil from the time he saw Anita & realised the missed opportunity in his life for him to live with her , his love. Now knowing it is her wedding & with no option of staying back , Ahem's heart pained to see his love move away from him forever !!!
In the evening as the family reached the venue, Ahem walked away lost in his thoughts but as he moved ahead, he realised that Gopi was missing next to him. He knows that his wife is always with him & his heart is at peace as he enjoys being with her. It is her place beside him & he expects her to always stays with him !!! Even in his pain, he missed her presence when she stayed away for a few minutes as she was troubled by the hair stuck in her earring !! He immediately turned back to see her struggling & as she answered that she was trying to remove the hair stuck, he immediately even without her asking started to help her !!! Ahem's heart is never at peace when he sees his wife struggle with anything let me something as simple as hair being stuck to her earring or maybe something as big as her accident. He is always by her side taking care of her !!! But today as he helped her yet he was lost in his thoughts about Anita & as he was occupied by her thoughts he failed to realise the blush & happiness on Gopi's face who was enjoying him touching her. After holi, this was the 1st time she had opened up to him & his touch & yet he failed to recognise the moment !!!
Is this going to be symbolic of how their relationship will proceed...he in his pain of losing Anitha is moving forward thinking that Gopi is there with him & at one point turns around to see that Gopi with her heart broken & in pain is far away from him !!! Today her physical discomfort made his walk back to her to relieve her of her pain but when he realises that because of his pain & only for his happiness that she has not has not travelled with him in their relationship, will his heart tug him to her. Will he be able to go back in his journey to tell her what he feels about her & their relationship or will the journey never happen as he never felt for her as strongly as he felt for Anitha !!! Today the journey was simple, will the journey tomm will be as simple as it was today !!!
Ahem waited anxiously to see if the bride of the wedding they were attending was Anitha, his love. He knew Gopi was concerned & was observing him & he tried to cover up his feelings but the feelings for Anita were so strong that he could not hide them for a long time !!! As Anitha came in front of Ahem, his heart pained to see her beautifully dressed not for him but for someone else. The love they felt for each other, their dreams of starting a new life together, their hopes of being always with each other tugged Ahem's heart. The reality of losing her forever pained his heart & he could no longer mask his feeling of hurt & pain from neither his mom nor his wife. Ahem knew his mom was observing him & his feelings, but in his pain, he forgot about the pain his wife was undergoing. In his hurt, he failed to realise that his wife was also hurt as her dreams about his love & her hopes of always being with him claiming his love only for her were shattered !!! Ahem knew only about his pain & about the pain of losing out on his love Anita & nothing else mattered to him at that point of time !!!
Gopi was concerned to see Ahem disturbed at the breakfast table, she knew there was something which was troubling him yet she did not know what it was. She assumed it was something related to work. As he helped her with the earring, she was lost his touch. She enjoyed being with him savouring every moment of his touch !!!
As Gopi recognised Anitha, she was shocked & suprised to see her & realisation of the harsh reality of the past & the present took place. She immediately looked at her husband for she was deeply concerned about him & somewhere there was a small hope in her that her Ahemji has movedon on what he feels for Anitha as today they were together in their relationship where they have been for each other, shared love & concern for one another !!! But as she saw him & Anitha in pain, it broke her heart to realise that her husband still loves Anita & all her dreams & hopes were shattered at that point. Her entire life crashed in front of her as she realised that at point that her Ahemji never loved her & that there was no future in their relationship !!! Yet in her pain, she still stood by him more concerned about his pain rather than her broken heart !!! This is how much she loves him & cares for him !!!
Both are hurt & are in deep pain on losing out the the love of the one who they had loved dearly ...Ahem on losing out Anitha & Gopi on losing Ahem. Yet Ahem in his pain failed to realise the deep pain his wife was undergoing, similar to the start of their marriage when he told her in no clear terms that he loves only Anitha & he will never ever love her. Even then she was concerned about him & continued to support him as his wife & went about all her duties as a wife & as a DIL. Her dreams were broken even then but she still had hope in her that one day her husband will love her, as there were just married & they would take time to know each other !!! Today she is in the same place with not only broken dreams & hope but also with the reality that even after knowing her & spending time with her, her husband does not love her !!! Will their relationship survive this reality? Knowing the truth now, will her heart ever be at peace?? Will Ahem ever realise the pain of Gopi beyond himself??? Even if he does, what will he be able to do? What will he say to her? Will he tell her he cannot love her beyond Anitha & not to expect anything beyond concern form him for her ???
