excellent post shruti...u have shown the difference in the relation ship between the 2couples beautifully...i will always have gohem close to my heart...raashi is evil and greedy to the core...and jigar is stupid enough not to see through her...unless and until raashi confesses to the whole truth and repents...nothing they share can be called a relationship...

Interesting and poingnant (new word!) question..This story was supposed to be the tale of two different girls their foray into womanhood and the journey of becoming true saathiyas.of thier partners..but.somewhere along the line they took the role of anatognist and protagonist...and a story that stressed more on a saas bahu relationship.

A complete two dimentional picture...good and bad...the tortured ever wronged yet loving and dutiful girl versus the selfish,self centred spoilt mischief making brat who loves the wealth and cheated her way there ...not rocket science to know where majority of the audieces sympathise are going to be...

They have taken time to paint Gopi's trials and her growing relationship with her mother and spouce and a slow growth of it so the audience played along and got sucked into it...

where as the rest of the cast has just been a byproduct of it...Hetal serves as a vehicle to show the colours of Kokis charactor, a plain comparative board that serves as the comparison so Koki's charactor can stand out...

Raashi is the catalyst of Gopis woes and again a neg to gopis positive

time has not been spent in developing these charctors or their relationships...we have not grown with them...(highly underused in my opinion)

there is no development map in the RaJi relationship, there is no implication of love or loving, just the outstanding acting of the actors who have no story between them...

I am not a big fan of the GoHem love story either. I find it jeuvenile and insipid...yet there is some meaning for thier love or rather relationship...where as RaJi's falls short in every way...

So theres my take...rant ...whatever you want to take it as...

its hard to get interested in Rashi Jigar romance mainly cause its still one sided especially from Jigars side, if Rashi quit the kalakaris for a while and concentrated on her and Jigars relationship they might actually get somewhere. Even though Rashi and Jigar have gotten back together there really is no change in their relationship its just like how is was before.

There is no RaJi for me for Rashi occupies the entire relationship... A couple should be 2 people.. This one is just Rashi and her manipulations. Plus Jigar's naivety is too frustrating and sometimes very irritating to watch.

I think knowing that Rashi is using Jigar and Jigar is being stupid does not make you root for the couple now, does it? Being eye candy cannot be the reason to enjoy romance. Some level of emotional investment is involved and Rashi and Jigar are not really worth it..

As for GoHem, they are like any normal, deeply in love couple and their personal moments are subtle and meaningful. You do not just see Aham trying to hold Gopi's hand to stare at her alone. He does that of course😉 but he also invests his time in understanding her and she makes sure he has everything he needs. Their characters have been developed with a lot of care and time.. And you see the results.

While GoHem always want me go back and watch the scenes a couple of times, I usually have to make myself sit through Rashi-Jigar scenes. 😕
