Ahem modi was in a fix he had hired a private investigator the day he had come back from paris the first time. He had seen rashi in andre s office but he had been careful that she would not see him. He was shocked after reading the report . It was a huge file but 7months of her life was missing in the report he had no idea where she was and what happened to her in those 7 months. Her personal life her medical records her financial assets were all recorded to the minutest detail . Should he give this file to jigar so that he would be prepared for what was coming or should he wait for time to heal rashi s wounds? He was confused and needed advice he had to confide everything to his wife and ask her opinion and help. Yes gopi would know what to do.


Rashi waited for the door to open she was curious to know who would open it and how would they react on seeing her. The door opened and a small boy of 5 hugged her 'maasi maasi i have been waiting for you to come from a long time '

rashi was pleasently surprised by the warmth the little kid. He was meeting her for the first time he hugged her and called her maasi took after gopi probably she decided. She kneeled down and pinched his chubby cheeks ' since how long have you been waiting for me baby?'

' i am not baby. My name is gaurav masi. I have been waiting from so long from the time the big hand of the clock was on 4 to the time it came on 10. I know all numbers but my sister does not know.her name is rashi you know. I know tables also masi she does not know'

the boy was a chatterbox definately not gopi she grinned. So his sister was named rashi strange 'very good gaurav you are a really smart boy see wat masi got for you'she held out a wrapped box which he took happily and ran from there. She stood up to see kokila hetal kinjal jigar ahem gathered in the hall reminding her of the day she had come back from the temple.hetal was looking at her open mouthed not believing her eyes. Kinjal stood in a corner fuming .

She swallowed she went straight to baa and gave her a small bunch of roses which she had got and touched her feet. Kokila was happy to see that she had been really surprised to see rashi in such clothes but looked like the old rashi was still hidden somewhere.


Rashi got up and turned exchanging a half smile with ahem, jigars jaw dropped wat the hell was she wearing? Her entire back could be seen he dint like it one bit. She sat next to baa and started making small talking ignoring the rest of them and he was even more amazed when he saw baa kissing her on her head and complimented her saying 'tu to film ki heroine se bhi sundar lag rahi hai.this colour really suits you'. Rashi was really happy now she had baa s approval now she dint care wat the others thought .

Hetal told her that gopi was putting her daughter to sleep and she would come down in some time.they should start dinner till then .' Mrs modi , i am amazed that your family was kind enough to call a murderer home for dinner. New kind of social service is it?' she enquired.

Hetal dint know what to answers she just mumbled a few words and excused herself.
Kokila was amazed that the gal had changed so much what had actually happened to make her this she wondered the fancy clothes the sharp tongue and the haunted eyes. This gal was a deadly combination nothing like the old lazy rashi. Jigar had drawn into a shell once he had come to know she was innocent. Koki regretted not speaking that day to give her a chance but she was in a shock she had a mild heart attack and was in hospital for weeks till the whole confusion was cleared. This rashi would be good for jigar she noted. She had the whole evening to test her still.

Rashi was curious to know where her parents were but she dint enquire. She saw gopi come down and sit next to ahem on the dining table. Oh so there were some changes here as well she mused. The wives sat with their husbands must have been ahem s idea she guessed. Loving Gopi had changed him .


Everything that had been cooked was rashi s favourite...Jigar was sitting next to her when her phone rang she was really happy ' baby . How are you? 'she kissed her phone. 'did you have food?...,'
jigar had no clue who was on the other line who was she kissing shamelessly andre? Nilesh ? Some other man? He was about to explode. She finally hung up and looked at the curious faces 'my kids ' she explained leaving everyone shocked

'kids?' kinjal enquired. 'yup my babies ria and additi'rashi replied 'how old are they?do you have their pics??' kinjal questioned her again ?? ' no i dont'rashi lied she dint want her kids to meet them .this dinner looked like a mistake now,' the younger one ria is 3 while the older one additi is ' before she could complete ahem dropped a glass and gopi cut her 'you should have kheer i made it specially for you'rashi was confused did ahem modi just drop a glass to save her??or was it unintentional?

Jigar fumed 'are you married? Who is the father of the kids?'

rashi looked at him happily 'no i am not married and the father is none of your concern'

hetal spoke for the first time 'not married and still two kids. That s commendable rashi...none of his concern all right but do you know who the father is or...?'she taunted.


Rashi closed her eyes she knew this was coming and she knew wat to reply but before she could put mrs hetal modi down it was someone else who spoke up for her


Kokila was disgusted by the accusation...'its her life mota bhabi we have no rights over it now. Dint we falsely accuse her of dhaval s murder as well. This family has done enough character assassination . No more.she is a guest and we will treat her with respect 'she said sternly.


Koki had seen rashi eat like a bird the entire time. Earlier she used to enjoy eating to her hearts content but looked like her appetite had reduced over the years. When gopi offered her favourite kheer rashi refused 'no no i dont eat sweets anymore... ' how could she she thought the first three years she definately could not afford it and now she always felt would that sweet remove the bitterness from her life?so she had stopped eating them all together. To not look stupid she added 'am on a diet.sugar is a strict no no ' kokila observed the sudden glint of sadness in her eyes. So she was lying for some reason.


This dinner was definately a mistake rashi decided she should nt have come here. She was engaged to prateek. He loved the kids and her . He was there for them always she could not let her past come in the way of her future. She wanted a few minutes to compose herself. Dinner was done so she excused herself to go to the bathroom. Gopi replied ' the one downstairs is out of use you can use the one upstairs in your old room' rashi just nodded and climbed the stairs lost in her own world.

She entered the room and was surprised to see it was exactly like it was earlier nothing had changed the curtains the furniture the ambience but the bathroom had been renovated completely. A bath tub and a jaccuzi were installed the wash basin was made of glass looked like some bathroom right out of a catalogue.

She placed her hand on basin tool some deep breaths and them splashed water on her face. She looked at the mirror and was shocked to see jigar s reflection she turned 'wat are you doing here?? 'she screamed.


'my room my bathroom 'was all he answered.
He kicked the bathroom door shut and walked up to her. every step he took she took one back she was trapped between the wall and jigar.

He put his hands on either side 'you know what you are a tease 'he taunted.

She looked into his eyes ' you know wat i will do if you touch me modi. Forgot what happened just three days back? Or you want a repeat performance?'

'you can try lady but this time i am prepared'before she could reply her placed his finger on her lip 'just let me speak.. Why rashi why has fate been so cruel? I cant believe i dint see you for seven years. You look beautiful .i am sorry i know i accused you falsely...damn i am not making much sense . Am i ? I am just so confused. Should i apologize? Should i ask you were you were for 7 years? How are you?should i tell you how much i missed you everyday? The guilt dint let me sleep. Should i tell you how i was these 7years?Should i tell you how beautiful you look? I dont know . I ve so much to talk but...'

'are you done?i need to go now . Get out of my way'rashi declared.

'the door has a problem once its locked it can oly be opened from the outside have called the carpenter but he dint come. So we are trapped in the bathroom till someone comes to rescue us' jigar shrugged.

Rashi had no clue how to react to jigar she wanted to hit him slap him kiss him hug him and cry her heart out at the same time. She dint want too lose her composure either. She reacted as if she had not heard the conversation and asked 'why did you say i was a tease?'


'you really need to ask that?remember the time when we were married?the way you have nilesh and andre wrapped around your little finger?'

flirting was way better than the emotional stuff she decided. She dint want him to know he still affected her .who ever she was with any corner of the world this man would always have a piece of her broken heart after all nothing could change the fact that he was additi s father. Thinking about it was a nightmare the pre mature delivery the unhygienic conditions the dump she had delivered in the excess bleeding had left a scar on her. Aditi was the oly thing which attached them. If he would come to know about it he would obviously want to be a part of their lives which was not possible.

She had to stop thinking about the past or she would break down ' i was never a tease modi . I deliver what i promise'
'kiss me then'he challenged rashi giving her a naughty smile.

Rashi had no choice now she planted a chaste peck on his cheek.jigar grinned' you call that a kiss? My niece kisses better than that!'

he held her hand and planted a kiss on it and proceeded to release the clutch which held her hair 'no dont 'rashi said shaking her head. He pulled her close 'this is some dress. You wore this to just tempt me dint you?' he laid a finger on her back the brief physical contact having a mindclouding effect on rashi her mouth went dry. She tried to push him but this time he was prepared he turned her around her face facing the wall. He started showering small kisses on her shoulder he nipped her neck he was sure it would leave a mark she could not go out like this. She would have to put her hair down he grinned.

The moment he had turned her she dint know wat hit her she shuddered helpless to deny him anything it was too much she had to stop him before things got out of hand. Relief came in form of her ringing phone . She had kept it on the washbasin counter she saw the familiar name and picked it with shaking hands.

'hi prat ...hmmm am a little caught up at the moment... .. Yes i am at his house for dinner...did the devils go to sleep?...ya i will call you once i reach the hotel...,'
now who was this prat? The baby sitter probably he decided. Once she hung up 'so the nanny called you to inform about your kids?'he enquired.

She had to tell jigar about her engagement that was the best way he would not bother her again. 'no not the nanny he is my fiancee jigar. The man i am engaged to'

jigar felt like someone punched his stomach hard. so she was engaged to someone was he the father of her kids?he wanted to shake her how could she move on in life when he was still madly in love with her .

' i need to tell you something else he is the same man you paid a fortune to become the brand ambassador of the new collection that andre and modi s are launching.'

'what the hell rashi! You are engaged to prateek nayar???did all the men in the world die??? He is such a flirt every day he is spotted with a new gal. You want to marry him? You chose him over me? You want your kids to be raised by such a flirt? '



she turned ' think and tell me have you ever heard anything bad about him apart from the link up s? The link up s are just a smoke screen . He loves me and my kids a lot more than i love him. I guess you have forgotten but let me remind you ,you are the same man who slapped me divorced me dragged me out of the house for something i dint do. You dint even give me a chance to speak. You broke me and it was andre nilesh and him who picked those broken pieces and made me whole again. I need to go out now call someone and get this door open '

jigar had no idea how to react ' the door is open i lied'

rashi turned the knob and before going out she taunted ' i was a fool to trust you again modi. '

she hurried out of the room her eyes moist she knew she was about to cry when she bumped into gopi.

Rashi looked all flustered gopi thought looked like jigar had got the hint and gone after her .' You can go to my room and touch up your make up' gopi offered.

Jigar was waiting for rashi to come down with her hair open probably that would set his mood right. He wanted to punch someone scream and throw a few things but he resisted that urge.

Gopi came down with Rashi jigar could not believe his eyes her hair was still in the french knot and the mark on her neck had disappeared somehow .

Rashi mentally thanked gopi for helping her cover all the marks on her neck but pride was not allowing her to say it verbally.

She had made a big mistake by coming here again. She just wanted to say her good bye s and leave. she dint know how but the small gaurav weaseled an invitation out of her to have pizza some other day . Definately ahem jiju she mused.

She was about to give gopi the gift which she had bought for her daughter when jigar answered 'why dont you give it to her when you meet'

'when am i meeting her??'rashi was confused.

'obviously i am getting both gaurav and rashi to have pizza with you' leaving rashi stumped.

'oki i will hold the bag and walk you to your car'jigar offered.

Ahem : they make a beautiful couple . Jigar needs to know the truth about rashi . I should give the file to him.


Gopi : things between rashi and jigar need to slow down. Just ten minutes alone and they were...


Kokila: something is wrong with rashi . There is so much in her eyes. Dont know what happened to her in 7years.

Kinjal: i need to somehow apologize for my past behaviour.


Jigar: i will make sure she breaks her engagement to that idiot.


Jigar leftrashi near her car and before he could open the door he pulled her close and kissed her 'you are mine rashi. No prateek andre or nilesh can steal you from me' he promised'bye rashi dream about me' he teased leaving rashi drained
