star parivar awards, as the name suggests is the award for family members... from all shows on star plus...they select the best maa character from among all serials on star plus... that means they are awarding or rewarding the character and not the actor...the basis is not how the actor is acting in his/her role...the basis is how the character (eg:maa character) is shaping up when compared to their contemporaries across start plus...here, the character or the relation in the serial is acknowledged, rather than the actor who played it😃hope... it made sense,,,,😛
