The first person, that you think of when you are happy, sad, hurt, depressed or excited is your spouse or your saathiya... This is what is shown in today's episode.. they showed the elder ladies looking up to their saathiyas' to share their frustration...

KoRag: The first person, you look up to when u are in problem, when u r happy, when u r sad is your spouse... today kokila...in a very naturally, looked up to and shared her anguish with her husband... she could easily vent out the frustration or let out her anguish before him... Parag and Koki know each other very well.. their trust is build over all these years of marriage. Kokila who was the problem solver in MM is facing a problem and she is looking up to her saathiya and parag as a true saathiya, to koki was trying to calm her down

she clearly says that she is not wrong and she cannot tolerate people who are doing any wrong.. these are the inner feelings you share so confidently only with your saathiya... And she says him that he knows her very well,,yes as a saathiya you are bound to know your other half's feelings at every instance. There is love and trust between them they know each other very well... after all they have been married for so long

HeRag: Today finally hetal, shared her feelings with her husband.. she always looked up to him... but never talked to him about koki issue... today she could share her fear of being dominated... her being frustrated with koki's interference in every matter.
- here chirag tries to calm her down...saying you know koki since the very first days.. she always respects elders. He further tells her to be calm and maintain peace in the house and he requests her to be calm and not take matters to heart. Here chirag is playing the role of a true saathiya.. requesting his wife not to loose her cool and disturb the peace of the house... he further adds, that he want to see the old hetal.. who with her calmness, maintained the peace of the house. Here also i see there is love and trust between them they know each other very well... after all they have been married for so long

Rashi-Jigar: yes like any normal couple, Jigar wants to take his wife out for ice cream, and spend some quality time with her..he specifically says .. u and me '.but his sweet innocent wife wanted to melt both her husband and her MIL with her sweet talks... she says - mom will be alone , if we go out..so lets take her.. but her sweet and dumb husband couldn't question her as why mom would be alone... kaaki, bhabhi, bhai , baa are there... but NO as he does not think straight
here i clearly do not see a single saathiya characteristic in the wife.. the husband at least had the wish to take his wife out... but the wife has totally different plans all together
Wife is not happy that her husband wanted to take her out.. she is more happy that both Mom-Son are influenced by her...I wonder, can such a girl be anyone's saathiya... This couple shows how your saathiya should not be...

Gohem: Gopi is still in the blush and bliss state... very happy and cute smile... and takes the green tea ,to bring on the soothing effect to her Ahemji.. he was his normal self..as he could not remember the days events,, but she is giving cute smiles with blush ...he as usual stops her to talk with her, to get some time with her and asks her about the dinner .. when she says undhiyo she is fine...but when she was about to say kofta ..her husband's favorite ' the words just won't come out of her throat ' her blush with the shyness and her Saathiya, in front of her, are affecting her to such an extent that she couldn't even let out "kofta curry" from her throat and the way she ran out of the room with , he just gave a confused look at her as he could not understand her changed behavior... Gohem are so adorable

other points of interest,...

koki is such a sweet heart, when gopi refuses to go to Ahem's room with green ' it is koki who orders her to take green tea for Ahem... Is this the same Kokiji whom people called jealous and insecure of their Son-DIL coming together...😕

Urmi calls or assumes Rashi as the thief... this the mother and daughter by blood...🤢

Gopi, the girl's confidence is just raising leaps and bounds thanks to her Ahemji's and Maaji's love and trust in her .. she confronted Rashi about going out for dinner😃

Rashi, she raised the curtain from our family - your family - glad koki heard it😃

Fantastic Munni.. Well made points on Saathiya and well said about the episode👏
I just could not bear to make a post on the episode though I did like it especially the GoHem and Koki parts and you have written so beautifully why..

Actually I loved Koki and Parag today. There is a perfect example of a marriage where both partners understand each other so well. Parag did not know the root cause of Koki's words but he still listened to her rant silently because he knew that Koki is troubled and is just letting her frustration out on him. Being a husband and wife of 30 years, this kind of understanding is very natural.😛

One more point, I liked it how Parag asked Koki about her dinner. He did not press her but he was concerned. It again fits his saathiya role. Parag knows that his wife is troubled, and hence asked her about dinner out of concern but when she refused, he understood and gave her the space needed..😃

I liked Chirag's reasoning too and his ready concern for his wife. His request to her to stay calm, shows his trust in her.. A bond again forged by marriage of over 30 years.. It is nice to see that too..

As for GoHem.. No words😛. Aham is still being his self before Holi. Considerate to thank her inspite of the headache, he now talks to her about his unusual nap in the afternoon. Very like a normak husband and wife. His surprise and joy at her mention of Kofta was good and Gopi's happiness was priceless.. Both are sweethearts and they seem to have a link that goes beyond these simple words they speak.
Aham indeed is surprised at Gopi's sudden blushing and smiling, but let us give him time. He has a hangover and he is yet to realize that he does not remember what happened. But he showed us today that even if he forgets, he will still be the adorable Aham to his wife..😃

One more beautiful bond is that of GoKi and Aham-Koki. As a son he is concerned about his mother. Gopi is concerned for her Maaji to question her bratty cousin. She is concerned but true to her word and due to coincidence she did not share it with Aham.. But I am pretty sure he will know soon. This is not a problem that can be hidden for long.😕

As for Rashi and Jigar, the less said the better. One is intent on getting used and the other intent of using and discarding.. There is nothing I can say more about them that you have not already..😊

The beauty is Munni, what we saw in the elder couples, I see it being developed between GoHem even now. Aham trusts Gopi to take care of his mom. He trusts her to share her problems with him. A true marriage is one that goes through bad and good times and comes out shining. GoHem is a perfect example. They do have their ups and downs but both Aham and GOpi come out supporting and loving each other... I guess they make the title come true.. Saath Nibana Saathiya😃

and i accept it ... ... i wanted to add parag being concerned for koki at dinner table... but somehow missed it, it was endearing the concern in parag was quite evident...perfect saathiya...

loved ur take on Ahem,,.. ⭐️ yes he is back to normal... finding ways to buy some time with his wife.. 😉 they are most adorable couple😳

yep.. he knows that gopi would definitely be knowing about his mom... and he expects her to be the know-all in the house...

I can see a mature marriage and strong relation between gohem, even at this early stages of their married life.. their trust and their understanding is absolute treat to watch👏

Munny, your description of a true saathiya is bang on. The way that a husband and wife communicate to each other is very important. Only a husband and a wife know each other inside out. Their smallest likes to their biggest fears.

Chirag with Hetal and Kokila with Parag proved it today.

No matter how much Kokila says her husband is not worth anything, but when time is called he is the first person she goes to. That is true love...kind of like she says, only I have the right to say these things to him and if anyone even tried, all hell will break loose.

And no matter how much someone is right or wrong, a spouse will say it like it is...and that is what Chirag did. In a very small and quite way he said to Hetal stay the calm self and don't take anything to heart...You have known Kokila from the beginning and you know she is just a hard shell but a softie inside...ok not in so many words, but that is what it amounted to.

And then we have GoEm...the way they are communicating and the way they are always looking out for the comfort of the other is outstanding. It is a relationship well on its way to be one of a kind and one in which there is no doubts or regrets. Ahem played his part well talking to his wife about his sleeping or what is for dinner...And Gopi did her part perfect, she took his tea for him and stayed there for him to drink it, this way she can be sure he drank it and will soon be recovered from his headache. I love all this three relationships. And I am in awe of all their personal connections regardless what they show outside...it is bonded air tight in the inside. well said Munny.

I loved the way Ahem was at the table eating and in such a comfort zone. There was a time when even having Gopi standing near the table would have made him blow smoke from his ears...but today he was a true saathiya and he talked to her in the same manner. When they were in their room or at the table. A wonderful answer and wonderful points were made...good job to both you ladies 👍🏼

the elder couples seem to be true saathiyans... though we generally don't get to see them often ...but what ever scenes they have they highlight their relation as husband and wife in true sense

yep gohem is a couple which reflects the beauty of being a couple=e... the immense trust, understanding, care, concern and love between them is really endearing to heart

Yes, the older Modies have a perfect relationship with their husbands...they love each other and are always there for each other. I wish they would show lil more of Chirag & Parag 😳. No comments on Jiggy & Rattie

Now coming to Gohem, they are on love track and that gives them a purpose to live blissfully😳...Gopi is a sincere, loving and pillar of steely strength for MM & Ahem is a man of strong convictions, nerves of steel and body to match, and the soft touch of love in his hands! Now, do I need to say how their relationship will be. Both of them think only abt making the other comfortable and special and have started treasuring each other😳.

Waiting to see them seek the nourishing nectar of love and togetherness😍. I have a lot more to write abt them but have to work on a presentation BAH sat morning & work🤢
