Just a couple of minutes of screening of Ahem showing the immediate repercussions of the after effects of bhang - a headache and lapse of time.
Ahem was waiting patiently for his green tea which was delivered by his beloved wife with a smile. He thanked her for it and looked on quizzically at her smiling face trying not to break his attention from her. A sip of his began to settle his pain as he could hear the ticking of the clock that made him realise dinner was fast approaching. To keep her a while longer to gauge her sweet and shy behaviour he enquired what was for dinner. He was pleased to hear that his favourite food was prepared and responded with great delight in his voice. Gopi turned and ran out of the room excitedly. This left him wondering why she was behaving in this manner. She had a sense of excitement and a beautiful shyness about herself that attracted him and look on at her after she had left.
For Ahem at present he thinks that everything is still the same and behaves in the same manner. However with his encounter with Gopi he could tell that there was something different about her that he could not quite put his finger on. He continues to be the husband who is at ease with his wife and this is like a daily converstaion he has with her. Even when he was at the diner table he enquired about his mum from Gopi. He expects her to know things on the home front.
On this note with sense of disenchantment we wait a full two days to know more of this evening after the Holi celebrations as the bhang wears out gradually. On the positive side I anticipate a Gohem bedroom scene. What do you think?
