I agree and am glad things are coming out in the open and it doesn't seem to be dragging any more.
The difference in reaction was plain to see. When she mentioned that it was the first time that their family had come out like this in front of Jigar and Hetal, Jigar showed absolutely no reaction - he was either didn't notice the distinction or wasn't bothered!! More likely the guy is being ruled by the brain in his pants and can't see past Rashi's smiley face.
And I was shocked he was the one who suggested to eat out. Jigarji, you didn't even think about your bhai and bhabhi who tried to bring you and your wife together. You thought about how much work you do but doesn't your brother? Didn't that make you think of him?
Hetal showed a little reaction which shows that she was aware of the distinction but it speaks volumes that she didn't say anything. In the past she may have said that it would have been nice if the whole family could have been here, but the fact that she let it slide shows that she is more than willing to have the separation made.
Yes, she has already split the family in her mind, but it was iritating to see that she did show a reaction. If she was even if a little bit bothered, she should have been the one to call and talked to Kokila to let her know.
On the other hand when Rashi made the distinction to Gopi you could see the surprise and hurt in her reaction. She's obviously never thought of Modi Bhavan housing two separate families, to her they have always been one. If Koki is her mum then Hetal is her kaki. Gopi has wholeheartedly accepted Jigar as her devar and hasn't just mouthed platitudes like other people have - I am so including Jigar and Hetal in this!! For nearly two years we've had "Koki is my little sister!" So much for those avowals, platitudes and nothing more!!
Yes, Gopi knows more about realtions and the value of relatioships than Hetal and Rashi could ever know. I am glad though Gopi had this conversation with Rashi. Rashi's layers of niceness are coming off one by one in front of Gopi. Hopefully, Rashi herself will kill all illusions Gopi has about her sister.
Koki's reaction was much the same as Gopi's. She's definitely shocked at what Rashi has said, but she's a smart woman and will make the connections between Rashi saying that and Hetal's current behaviour. She will realise that Hetal is also making a distinction between the two sides of the family.
Poor Gopi and Koki have actually invested their emotions into the family.
Yes, it is going to be really hard for both of them, but they will support each other and get through it. I am glad also Koki saw this because as you said she will now make the connections.
Going back to earlier in the episode. I actually enjoyed Koki's show of temper in her bedroom with Parag. It speaks volumes for their relationship that she is able to vent like that. If the same was happening to me I'd be like Koki too. I wouldn't be able to keep it all in - frustration needs a definite outlet.
On the flipside Hetal didn't really want to tell Chirag her feelings but he got it out of her. The way she said everything was sort of like a spoilt child. "I'm sick of Kokila!" Well how very dare you you ingrate!!!!
Agree. I liked what Chirag said to her, but we know whe is not going to listen.
She has made me so angry that I could so very easily kill!! But I'll calm down after I've vented!!
Kokila hasn't changed in the way she has ordered herself and the house, and if Hetal had a problem with anything she should have said it before the routine became so ingrained it became like a tradition because lets face it that's all that traditions are. It's no use screaming the place down almost thirty years later. Even her own husband looked shocked and I'm not ruddy surprised!! The mouse showed her teeth!! Even if it was only in the privacy of her own room. She doesn't have the guts to directly air her concerns to Kokila but is more than happy to make snide comments like she made yesterday when she was indirectly taunting Koki when talking to Rashi.
For Koki and Gopi's sake the quicker the two families are separated the better it will be!! Hetal had better get used to her DIL always eating out!!
Yes. I hated it the way she just ignored Kokila's question and just taunted her through her talk with Rashi. That was so petty and childish of her. Why not give a direct answer to a direct question?
As for GoHem... well I'm still optimistic!!
Even if he has forgotten there's nothing to say that he won't be pleased when he finds out what he did!! I'm pretty sure that he will get his memories back eventually!!
I don't want this to come out through a pregnancy track though!! It would be nice for it to come back to him gradually - maybe by seeing Gopi's reactions to him he will start to wonder. In filmy style it would be nice if accidental touches between them bring back memories of what happened between them. It would be a really lovely way for him to recall it without having it brought up as a big barrier between GoHem!! I don't really want Gopi to know that Ahem doesn't remember but the CVs do think that Gopi's tears are big trp winners.
I hope it happens like what you said, but I have no expectations at this point. Like you said Gopi's tears are big trp winners. I hate to say it but I think we are headed towards a pregnancy track and a lot of heartache. I wouldn't be able to stand it if they do that😭
As for RaJi romance. It would be nice to see if Rashi wasn't so intent on ruining Koki's life. And nowadays seeing the blindness of Jigar and his mum he deserves to be heartbroken just like Kokila is because of his mum.
Yes, poor Jigarji. I am glad though to see Rashi just focussed on Koki. We are lucky she is not starting physical relations with Jigar yet to win him over. It will be a bigger mess if she got pregnant🤢
