I think the Cv's intentions here is to show Gopi really happy...obviously...and for Ahem to wonder what happened. And when Gopi realizes he does not remember anything she will come back to earth. See so far Gopi had doubts about Ahem's feelings for her...they are now confirmed and she know he loves her. But since he does not remember, she will not push him. On this side Ahem will start to have flashbacks and will realize that Gopi never pressured him into anything. And he will also come to realize that Gopi lives with so much pain the whole time and never gives indication of it. Hoping this leads to his confession and better treatment of his wife and also regret...

Shaun, Ahem realizes Gopi's worth. But with this track, he can start to realize how much she hold inside her and to what lengths she is willing to go for his happiness. I know it all sounds too dumb or stupid. But think about it, Ahem now loves Gopi and there is no longer any doubt about it. But now he will start to appreciate her on many levels...not just as his love or as the girl who has overcome obstacles. But he will see her as a human being who was never loved and yet she is capable of giving so much of herself for the enjoyment of the family. She is sacrificing her happiness to make him happy. This is going to make him work hard to make sure she gets the same treatment from him and that he will never take her for granted...
