This is how love happens!!!!

I'm reading that some are feeling let down that the SR of Ahem and Gopi was not more special or that Ahem didn't say all the right things...but let's think about this. In real life, when do men say all the right and beautiful things we want them to say? And do men even think like that? Ahem has been showing through his actions for weeks and weeks now just how much he really values and cares for Gopi. He is not a demonstrative person. His emotions have been kept in check by his mother since he was a child. Finally he has felt love. He is happy. He doesn't know what to do with these feelings. He wants to be with Gopi but he doesn't know how to say or show it. The help comes in the form of "cannibis"...This didn't change how he feels, it just allowed him to lose his inhibitions long enough to show how he feels. And feeling this way, he reacts. The most natural thing in the world was for him to make love to Gopi, his wife, in their bed while he is feeling so close to her. Why are we upset? This is how life happens. Gopi is blissful.. We should all be over the moon! And I don't think he will forget. You don't get amnesia from cannibis...whether it is eaten or smoked. You may not remember everything perfectly clearly, but if anything this "herb" is known for heightening sensations, not eliminating them. And now that they have broken the ice and been together truly as husband and wife, it can only get better. All I can say, is FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY!!!!

Completely agree with you. Ahem is a man afterall and for men the first expression of love is to makke love. Even if he does not remember, he will not hurt gopi after he finds the truth. he may regret that he did not remember the most important thing in their relationship. I think everything will be fine.

First of all ChicagoCarole. Thank you for your post. I am not necessarily let down that SR did take place. I think what I have let affect me and getting my knickers in a twist is that if Ahem forgets then all Gopi's hopes and happiness will come crashing down and she may revert back to hiding from him and the relationship stalls. The writers are hell bent on keeping Gopi unhappy with only the slightest glimmer of happiness, She is a woman who was abused all her life by her mami, had a cousin who does not give two hoots about her and a husband who has only now recognised her as his wife. Tomorrow he may remember and stand by her and I will be singing a different tune but for today I feel that what the writers have done is tantamount to abuse by proxy. Please forgive the rantings of a deranged woman. Dear God! I cannot believe that I have become so emotional about a serial and a ficticious character. Come on Xarina, you are a grown woman. Hey, I am heading for the pub in half an hour. Join me. Come one, come all.😃

Love the analysis! I am confused with this Bhang stuff. At uni people used to smoke 'Bhang' but they never lost their memory so are the effects different if eaten? I really don't think Ahem will forget, he may think he dreamed it but surely there will be physical signs that something went on.

i m not against SR. but i m aginst his bhang state.
as for aham he has been showing his love for her.
but he needs to confess. make her realize that he has changed.
this is a fiction and we want to see some thing like that.
it was simple with lots of emotions.
it was comfortable to watch with family.
the problem is not with SR
the problem is his bhang state and our fear he might forget what he did and lead to more tears for gopi
