There have been several posts on Aham's reformation and his progression of love. Does he or doesn't he know he is in love? How should he proceed? Is it time to confess to Gopi?
I believe there are three phases Aham has to go through to pay for his past deeds and show he deserves Gopi's love. Each phase contains several steps/scenes he has to perform to make his love stronger and finally get his true love.
This is going to be a long post. I apologize for that, but I hope it will be an interesting read for most of you. Please provide lots of comments on this. Would love to see your thoughts.
I see three phases in Aham's progression of love:
Phase I - Aham has fallen in love but hasn't confessed to himself (I think Aham is going through this phase currently)😕
Phase II - Aham's confession of love to himself😃
Phase III - Aham's confession of love to Gopi👏
Looking at how CV's have proceeded so far, I believe in each phase, the CV's want to tie up loose ends, and wipe Aham's messy slate clean by making him go through several steps.
They have rewritten past scenes that showed Aham as a mean, raging bull to recreate a new sensitive Aham with actions/reactions of a man deeply in love.
Here are the steps Aham has to go through in each of the phases for his atonement. Some have already been shown by the CV's.
(In red are the scenes that happened during Aham's hate phase and need repayment.
Ingreen (Ahamji's favorite color), are the scenes needed for Aham's reformation during his love progression.)
Phase I (Aham feels the need to be always be with Gopi physically and mentally. Confusion mingled with awareness and possessiveness time. )
These steps have already been covered by the CV's. There are others, but I am just listing some of them.
1. Gopi saves Aham from snake - Aham nursed Gopi back to health after her accident
2. Gopi sleeping on floor - Aham gave her the bed while he slept on the couch
3. Refusal to hold puja thali with her - Has held multiple times. Liked the way he put his hand over hers during aarti on mahashifratri yesterday.
4. Abhored any touch by Gopi - Held her hand at Mami's house😳
5. Forced to give flower - Gave a flower happily on V-Day👏
6. Dropped Gopi at Mami's and forced to bring her due to Nani - Displease at Gopi's going to Mami's, misses her, and happily brings her back👏
7. Hated Gopi serving him or touching his food - Serves Kulfi on V-day and eats her left-over⭐️
8. Threw money at Gopi and called her gold-digger - Gave money at parents' anniv. and trusted her with money for Kokila's bengals
Still to do:
1. Gopi selects clothes for Aham - Aham selects saris for Gopi to match his clothes
2. Gopi shielding Aham during zipper scene (a hilarious scene) - Aham provides cover for Gopi's back since her blouse dori is open. The scene ends with him tying the dori.😳
3. Aham wipes off teeka applied by Gopi - Aham requests Gopi to do chandla in front of everyone at MM temple.
4. Aham doesn't apply sindoor on Gopi - Gopi forgets to apply sindoor or it gets wiped off in rain. An angry Aham gives a big lecture to her on the importance of sindoor for a suhagan and fills her maang with sindoor.
5. Aham verbally abuses Gopi - Aham praises Gopi in front of everyone for some work she does
6. Aham scolds Gopi for her makeover - Aham compliments Gopi for her beauty/dress/makeover
7. Aham distrusts Gopi over laptop - Aham teaches Gopi how to use his laptop. May be gift one to her later.😃
8. Aham doesn't return Gopi's hug in Switzerland (hug 1) - Gopi is distressed and Aham initiates the hug to comfort her. She doesn't return since she is too distressed. Once she realizes, she feels uncomfortable and breaks it. Aham feels bad.😭
9. Gopi accompanies Aham in the park disaster - Invites Gopi to go for a walk in the park with him and introduces her to his friends.
10. Gopi applying color on Holi - Asks Gopi to put color on him. Throws color at her and flirts and then questions his own behavior. (Setting ready to move to phase II).
Phase II (Each of these steps has to be peppered with a lot of flashbacks from Aham's hate phase. Aham's repentance time.)
1. Aham tells Gopi jewelry is given to those we love - Buys jewelry for Gopi. Before gifting to her, gets a fb about what he said to her and questions himself why he got it. This is the realization of love point and his confession to himself that he loves Gopi.👏
2. Aham prevents Gopi bumping into him by putting up his hand - Aham on purpose bumps into Gopi to cause them to fall for physical closeness and lala land.😳
3. Aham believing worst of Gopi during kalakaris - Aham defends Gopi when in a kalakari she is blamed for a misdeed. Rashi asks if Aham going to throw Gopi out as he did before after cooker kaand, Aham replies "Yeh ghar Gopi ka hai aur woh yahan se kahin nahi jayegi". Has a fb of him trying to throw her out.
4. Aham calling Gopi a gold digger and throwing money at her at Kinjal's wedding - Aham gives money to Gopy for personal expense, she refuses, he has the fbs.
5. Kalakaaris against Gopi - Kalakaaris revealed especially the jewelry one and the letter one. Aham repents, each time a kalakaari comes out, he has fbs of how he behaved.😭
6. Aham doesn't return Gopi's hug during education track (hug 2) - Aham is distressed thinking over his past deeds and turns to Gopi for comfort; hugs her, Gopi shyly hugs back. Both get physically conscious, reluctant to break, but get interrupted.😲
7. Aham shouts at Gopi for putting her bedding on his bed/for opening door to his mom - Someone knocks at their door, Aham jumps in bed to prevent them from seeing him on the couch, and tells Gopi he will sleep on bed from now on to avoid such future situations⭐️. Has a fb of when he shouted at her.
8. Gopi's dream sequences - Aham has romantic dream sequences including a dreamy SR with a fb of the real SR Gopi suffered.
Phase III (Lala land time.)
1. Aham doesn't return Gopi's hug on her birthday (hug 3) - Aham asks for forgiveness for his past behavior and confesses his love to Gopi and they both hug each other. Has to be a long one; may be both cry... After this hug, they can be shown hugging all the time...🥳
🥳2. Gopi takes back vows and puts pallu - Aham asks Gopi to marry him again in front of all the Modis and Shahs and never to put her pallu on again once married. At the wedding, they give the same vows to each other that Gopi had taken back.🥳
3. Taking jewelry off of Gopi (I took it as a symbol of taking away his love) - Aham puts all the ornaments (necklace, earrings, nose ring, bangles, payal, maang tika, bindi, etc.) on Gopi to get her ready for their second wedding☺️
4. SR - Need I say more?
5. Aham refuses to take Gopi to Switzerland - Aham plans and takes Gopi for a long honeymoon.🥳
6. Aham's love for Anita - Anita comes back. Anita plays kalakaaris to split Goham. Aham worried, but Gopi is secure in their love. Anita's ghost laid to rest.🤗
The CV's can take it from there - Aham should shower Gopi with gifts, take her for business dinners, walks in the park, ballroom dancing... no limits...
Until Aham goes through these phases, he can not be truly worthy of Gopi's selfless love.
