Ok another OS scenario of how Ahem could confess to Gopi.
The ladies were done cooking dinner and were waiting for the men to come home so they could have tea and catch up on days work. The door bell rang and Koki went to open the door and there stood Jigar and Chirag. Koki said her greetings and asked about Ahem. Jigar said Bhai had to go and see a client and would be late in coming home. Gopi heard this and for some reason could not get rid of a fear nagging her about her Ahemji. She wanted to go and tell Maji but she didn't want to either scare Maji or have Maji get angry at her. So she went to the mandir and prayed to Khanaji to bring her Ahemji safely home. She felt fear rising with every passing hour. But she kept it to herself. Finally after two and half hours, even Jigar voiced his concern. He said Bhai should have been home now. Gopi saw the look on Jigar's face and decided to tell Maji. Having Ahemji come home safely was more important than worrying about Maji's reaction. And so she went to Maji and said Maji, I am worried about Ahemji. Ever since he did not come home with Devarji and Kakaji, I have a bad feeling. Maji please you try and call Ahemji. Koki looked at her DIL and was about to protest, but she saw the concern on her face and decided to show Gopi that Ahem is probably fine. When Koki dialed the phone all she got was a recording saying the phone was shut off. Koki wondered why in the name of God would Ahem switch off his phone. She turned to Gopi and said I am sure there is a perfectly good explanation Gopi, don't worry. But Koki saw tears forming in Gopi's eyes and said Sharu, lets go and see if we can't find him. Koki went to Jigar and told him of Gopi's concern and said lets all three of us go and check on him. Jigar had wanted to go but, he didn't want to be the cause for alarm. But since his Bhahi felt the same way, he agreed and Koki, Gopi and Jigar left to go see if they can't find Ahem. Jigar took the same route that Ahem would have taken to come home from the site. And there was no other route. When they got very close to the site, they saw a police car and some other cars pulled to the side of the road. Gopi said Maji, Ahemji. And then she started to cry. Koki and Jigar couldn't console her. So Koki asked Jigar to go and find out what is going on. Jigar went and Koki saw the police man point to something and Jigar went in that direction. Ten minutes later Jigar ran to the car and said we need to go. And started to drive. Koki was stunned at Jigar's actions. She asked what did he find out. Jigar said Kakiji voh...Ahem Bhai's car was in an accident and the policeman showed me his car. There were four other cars involved and three people died and five others were taken to the hospital. Koki said hai Krishna bhaghwan, please don't let anything happen to my Ahem dikra. Koki realized that Gopi was quite and when she looked she saw that Gopi had fainted, probably on hearing the news. She tried to wake up Gopi. And when they got to the hospital, Koki told Gopi we are at the hospital Gopi vau, please open your eyes or else you won't be able to help us find Ahem. Gopi woke up and started to have tears in her eyes and said Maji, please tell me my Ahemji is fine. Koki who was trying to control her own tears said he is going to be fine, Gopi vau. You two still have a long life to live together. They got out of the car and followed Jigar inside the hospital.
When they came in they saw a lot of chaos caused by families of the accident victims. Jigar found out some information and motioned his Kaki and Bhabhi to follow him. When they were together, Jigar turned to them and said Bhai is fine, he just had to get some stitches, but other than that he is fine. The doctor is going to take us to him in a minute. Koki and Gopi smiled and both in their own way looked up and folded their hands and thanked God for this miracle. When the doctor came, he said this way. And they stopped at a room just to the other side from where they were. And all three went in. Ahem was sitting on the gurney having stitches put on his forehead. Koki and Jigar ran to him but Gopi stayed behind...unable to go and hug him and tell him how much she loves him...that was what her heart wanted to do. Ahem saw Gopi and knew her thoughts and even though he was answering his mom and Jigar, he looked at Gopi and said I am fine. Don't worry. It's nothing serious. Gopi locked eyes with him and had to control an overwhelming urge to go and hold him to make sure he was really ok. But she couldn't and she knew no matter what she had to stay in control till they were alone and then she could voice her opinion. After Ahem was done with getting his stitches, Koki told everyone to lets go home. Jigar was already outside and had informed the family of everything. And all four left the hospital and when Ahem looked at gopi before getting in the car and saw raw emotions in her eyes. He knew she was worried about him. When they came home, Hetal rushed to the door and started to cry on seeing Ahem. Ahem went to her and assured her he was fine. He assured his father and Kaka too. They sat for a while and decided to finish dinner early and go to bed, this way Ahem could get some rest. After the dinner was over, Ahem went to his room and as always his clothes were layer out for him. So he went on with his routine of changing and waiting for his nightly tea.
Gopi was all nerves and the ladies could see it. So Koki told Gopi to go and take Ahem's tea and to not bother to come back down. She wanted Gopi to take care of Ahem and they would take care of the kitchen duties. When Gopi came to the room Ahemji was standing near the mirror looking at his stitches. Gopi put the tea down and asked Ahemji, are you sure you are ok? Should I get you some medicine? Ahem said the doctor had given him pain killers at the hospital and to not worry he was fine. But Ahem could see Gopi fidgeting with her pallu and said Gopi look at me...and when Gopi did he said I am really fine Gopi...don't worry, and he smiled at her. Gopi who was holding her emotions in couldn't hold it anymore and ran to him and put her arms around his waist and said you scared me to death. I had horrible thoughts when I saw the accident site. Ahemji, I cannot live without you, Ahemji don't' you know how much I love you. Ahem who for the first time was holding his wife and trying to pacify her couldn't believe his ears. He hugged her tighter and said Gopi do you know what you just said...Gopi who was just blabbering realized what she had said and was going to let him go and run. But Ahem tightened the hug and said no Gopi I am not going to let you go. Gopi, I am so happy to hear you love me...even after all you have been thru with me. He then made her look at him and said Gopi, I love you too. Gopi said jee? Ahem said jee haan Gopiji, I love you. And I have loved you for some time now. It was not until I almost lost you, that I started to come to terms to how much I love you. You are everything to me Gopi. And I wish we could have started our life in a different way. But now I know I have a lot to make up for. He then leaned into Gopi and kissed her on the lips. He asked Gopi, tell me again you love me. Gopi who was now blushing profusely, just hid her face in the nook of his neck and held on to him. Ahem held her with just as much intensity and said I would like to hear that again. Gopi went closer to his ears and said I love you Ahemji. Ahem picked up his wife and held her close to him and started to spin out of happiness. And then realized he is still a little week. They both laid down on the bed and Ahem pulled Gopi towards him. Gopi was lying with her head on his chest and they both were lost in each other... After a while Ahem said Gopi can you do me one more favor...Gopi asked what? Ahem said please don't put the pallu on your head again...I like you without it. They both hugged each other and Ahem leaned into Gopi and kissed her again till both had lost their senses and were completely into each other. Ahem had deepened his kiss and Gopi followed suit...
