from the day of their marriage aham had never missed gopi because he never loved her. even when he droped her after kinjal's marrige he was happy and releaved. but today was the first time he missed her and was frustrated in not seeing her.

I think they have been apart i.e Swiss trip but this is first time he has missed her.

As Shruthi said, they have been separated, when he hated her and wanted her out of the house, he dropped her off and was relieved the episode of being married to a Gawar and feeling suffocated by her presence was over, so he didn't miss her that time, because his feelings were not as their are now.
