Finally had to watch the two episodes I'd missed - wasn't much looking forward to it to be honest but has to be done!!!

Only good thing I can find to say about Thursday's epi is that Ahem was looking gorgeous in both the kurta's he was wearing!!

And also liked how Ahem was talking with Gopi during the scene in their bedroom when he was ironing. He answered Gopi straight away when she asked him if everything was ok between him and Koki, so I really enjoyed the sharing and confiding there - they were like a proper married couple!! His anger and frustration when he burnt the tip of his finger is also understandable for me, he's annoyed at himself and he's taking it out a little bit on the person closest to him - which in terms of proximity and I feel emotionally is Gopi!! Love how upset and worried Gopi is for Ahem here too!!

Now as for Koki making Ahem iron, well I personally don't see any harm in a man doing a bit of housework but I don't like the way Koki is using it to punish and humiliate her son. I expected better from her. I suppose it's in her favour here that she hasn't made it clear to the whole family exactly what she's doing to Ahem!!

Now to watch Fridays!!! Not expecting much again!!!

Gosh am I glad my expectations were low!!!

The Rashi Urmila thing is fast getting old!!!! Now didn't Gopi make the Gujurati food anyway? And that's the food that got praised, but I don't care!! The faster Rashi is back to her normal evil self the bettter!! Hopefully she'll drop herself in it and both Hetal and Gopi will have their eyes opened at long last!!

I'm thinking it might not have been one of my best ideas to leave watching this episode so late!! It has annoyed me vastly!! God does the woman never stop!! Poor Gopi today!! To have Kokila Modi talking to her like that!! It was like being thrust back into the past!! I'm seriously thinking that the CVs saw some old episodes and remembered what they initially wanted Kokila to be like!! An absolutely abominable woman! This is the Kokila that I was terrified of at the start - the woman who didn't think twice before she practically ruined a three lives - Ahem, Anita and Gopi's!! And just when things were settling down for two of the three she has to put them into further turmoil!!

Oh I really felt for Gopi today!! What's she supposed to do!! On one hand she's got a very slowly developing realtionship with her husband and on the other there's her MIL who up until recently has been her rock.

I'd hate to be put in her position!!!

I need a pick me up!!! Thank God for hot chocolate!!!

On a weird and funny note - Was watching old home videos today and saw the licence plate to my dad's first car. It spelt out URM 114Y!! As soon as I saw it I burst into laughter because it looked so much like URMI!! I made them rewind it so I could see it again!! My family didn't understand what was so funny about it!!!

. Very well summarized Nazma..👏 It has been a sad couple of episodes..
The only hope is there is some method in this madness of the CVs. Maybe they want to show that given the same circumstances as a year back (Koki- being angry all time, and Rashi and her mother doing Kalaakaris), a difference of a husband's support can change the rules of the game..
Maybe they want to show that a real saathiya is a person who stands by his wife in these times..
But if that is the case, my humble opinion is that it is too silly 😡

But hopefully we see some light and this outburst and its repercussions lead to something solid on the GoHem front.

The whole track in my mind is ridiculous!! Kokila has definitely made a mountain out of a molehill this time, and that's saying a lot seeing as there wasn't even a discernible molehill to begin with!!

I would understand it a lot more if Ahem had actually neglected his work, but unfortunately the boy has been as conscientious as ever!! He even let Gopi fall in his eagerness to answer his mobile!! (Low blow I know!!)

Kokila is being unreasonable as it stands right now. The CVs need to take a good hard look at themselves and stop ruining a good thing!!

Something in what Koki said to Gopi about a wife having status because her husband is successful annoyed me. That may be true but at the beginning of the show everyone was in awe of Kokila, and yes it was because Ahem is her son but I don't think we've ever seen anyone ever insult Koki or look down at her because Parag doesn't work. It's all tied up with Kokila's own insecurities.
