Why are they reacting this way?

I mean I understand Gopi being shy maybe scared that Ahem is angry but that reluctant that she sleeps on the floor in Winter..My god.. ok thats understandable as nothing is logical with Gopi but Ahem ..I mean I know he would be conscious and It might be awkward but He's acting like he's made the biggest mistake of his life and now can't face her. So even he sleeps in the couch.. I mean he's supposed to have done this before. Im sure Anita must have tried. Or the CVs forgotten that Ahem had a relationship before marriage. And since when has the bird/ gutur goo gotten more importance any other character. Im telling you, the CVs love birds. Please any one can explain this to me.. I know that Gopi is shy. I mean I would be too. Possibly not want to face him.. But to the extent of sleeping in my mother-in-law's room, definately not...

gopi is scared, but aham i feel is avoiding gopi so that she might be comfortable. the previous aham would have blasted her on the stop and would have slept in his room, without any consideration for gopi. but by not going to his room, he is making sure, gopi is comfortable. he realises that gopi is scared what he might say so to save her, her sacrified his comfort. coming from aham modi this is a privilege.
as for their reactions, you are right they are going overboard.

Its a serial and everything is made huge otherwise who will have interest in seeing normal behaviour from characters. It will lose charm if its like a daily routine like we do in real lives. Its the hype in every emotion be it love, anger, sadness that keeps our interest going. So just enjoy the serial😊

Friends I am a new member. I am totally crazy about this serial...Ahem had Anita so why not give somebody for Gopi...I mean what if she was married in childhood but her mama mami are unaware of it...that guy could be smitten by her beauty and then tries to woo her...please make him caring and well mannered

Well, Gopi deserves a Nobel Piss Prize for sleeping in MIL's room

My lord in GOpi's defence: How will the poor girl know that the accidental kiss, that she has planted on her hubby's face has not 'irked' him. How is she to decipher his muteness? According to her she has sinned & is scarred for life. Though Ahem has become her healer now...he has gone from being a Pest to Best, but the sudden kiss has shaken the ground of Friendship which was blossoming!

In the first phase of their marriage, Gohem were like tandem skydiving, where they were connected as they fell, they were forced to fall at the same rate and use the same parachute ( thx to Koki). But falling in love is a solo act. You just jump and hope that your parachute will open. Sometimes, you look up and realize that you were falling by yourself( it happened with Gohem many times), your love is still on the plane, not interested in jumping and watching you descend into that scary place alone( Ahem had completely abandoned her dropped her at her Mami's place).

Ahem's defense: Now after the education track gradually he realized she is the GEM & fit to be Koki's dil & his wife so he was gradually erasing all the hurt & making Gopi fall in love with him. BUT BUT BUT he wanted to get there in plenty of time, and unbeknownst to him, he has successfully fallen in love with her already. So he actually enjoyed the KISS but how does he explain it to his wife...he is scared & apprehensive.

If someone really loves us, he has 'fear' that creates his care for us.(highly illogical but completely dillogical). Gohem relationship is passing through FEAR ...they will get past this phase sooner than you think 😉

Ahem is acting like this because he doesn't want gopi to run or be in a dilemma state.He knew taht gopi is as scared and awkward feeling as he is so he is making her feel relaxed by not going in front of her...About anita, i think she would have tried but i bet she was the initiator..With gopi, he is having confused thoughts..He himself doesn't have understand that he is in love with her.. Let him understand that first then we can have a proper husband-wife story...Am enjoying these slow moving tracks with gohem involved...Gives a smile on face..

i think guys tackle girls according to partially their nature and partially the girl's nature. In anita's case, given that she was a modern girl who had no problem taking the lead, ahem didn't need to feel so protective of her emotions or so concerned for her reaction to physical intimacy. He was just behaving as ahem would behave.

in gopi's case, he knows that she is absolutely opposite to anita, so things that anita wouldn't think twice about, gopi would make into a HUGEEE deal. If you notice, he looked a little pissed off when gopi didn't even come out of the kitchen. That would make a guy think that a) she is not feeling comfortable around me and b) she is wishing it never happened and i am the last person she wants to see.

So ahem is adjusting his reaction according to gopi's nature. fine, let her be comfortable in the room, i will do something else. if you think about it, if someone you care about doesn't want to be around you, you remove yourself from their presence so that they wouldn't feel bad. so GOHEM are doing the same. why is that so unnatural?
