Iss Ahem Modi ka kya karenge?

So shy, so repressed - where's that heat in your blood, young man? A girl, his OWN wife, pecks him on the cheek and he freezes and becomes awkward to the extent of sleeping on the sofa?!! 😲😲
Come on, Ahem! Where's your instinct? Where's your sexual aggression? Any man who was instinctively attracted to the girl in question would have held her or at least moved forward TO her instead of running away!!

I respect him for maintaining his distance when he didn't like Gopi, or even after he started liking her... but to become this nervous and shy is just tooo much. I want to believe that he's a normal healthy sexual male, but with marvelous control and decency. This scene shows Ahem to be unimaginative and really dull!

Sorry I know this is an unpopular view and I normally hate comparisons myself, but with the contrast provided by ASR prowling around Khushi like a predatory tiger, I was most unhappy to see Ahem behave like he didn't ever DREAM it was possible for a girl to kiss him. ON THE CHEEK, for cryin' out loud.

CVs, I know you can't show us adult stuff, but surely you can create intriguing characters?! I was let down by how chui mui Ahem acted yesterday.

IPKKND is more oriented for young audience while SNS is for all😊
also from ahem's point of view its his shyness but also he doesn't want to create embarrassing situation for gopi also because he doesn't know gopi's feelings. I think he personally liked the kiss as he was remembering it also but only due to gopi's awkwardness he is behaving like that.

The equation between Ahem and Gopi is very different from Arshi. Arnav and Khushi have had a love hate relationship from the first time they met.. He hated her but was attracted to her. The friction and chemistry between them is different. They keep challenging each other, trying to prove a point. This allows for a lot of intimate scenes between them... These two were never friends... always something more...

And Ahem and Gopi had an extreme relationship... Gopi loved him (still does) with all her heart... it wasn't something she hid... And Ahem hated her and he didn't hide it either... He has thrown her out of the room.. he has slapped her.. Even Arnav has been mean but in phases. But Ahem hated her for nearly a year... had nothing to do with her. Its all new for him. And hence his reactions are so different. Arnav has assumed a right over Khushi since they met.

Ahem on the other hand has undergone a complete change. He disowned her completely as a wife, and now he is falling for her without knowing what is happening to him...Up till the kiss... the love was hidden under the name of friendship but the kiss has kind of brought them out in the open... shocking both of them...It is very difficult for a guy like him to just suddenly proclaim his feelings. Ahem has not been challenged by Gopi... Their love is not a competition. For Ahem it has come as a realization. So naturally, the chemistry is completely different.

But give our Ahem time.. Its just the beginning of the intimacy. Be rest assured(a prayer this is) that Ahem will become every inch of the aggressive predator when he senses that Gopi is going out of his reach... He wont let her go... Now the show is just building towards it.

Not saying that you should like it or hate it... I am a Arshi fan too. It is just that Gohem are a very special couple. No point comparing the two.

Maddy, yes, sure, he absolutely loved being kissed by Gopi, no question about it. And some awkwardness is natural too - it's just the sleeping on the sofa, as if he simply can't can't face her now. As if they were both 14 years olds who were caught in an awkward moment or something, who never want to see each other again.
SNS is for a slightly more sedate audience, that is true but I felt this was unromantic. In my book that's unforgivable 😛

hmmm i think ...he was not...

there was a scene when anita tries to kiss on his lips and he turns his head saying his mother has arranged a marriage for him... anita's intro scene i guess...

So i am assuming they were more physical... sob sob sob

Exactly my thoughts. from the glimpses of Anita I had thought that she was bold and a 21st century girl... Ahem needs time to adjust to the new inkling of love and sexual attraction...

Thanks Aish for this superb post! you make some very pertinent points - Arshi were always more to each other than friends. It was in the air all the time with them, which is not the case here.

Once he overcomes the initial shock at the very idea, I pray too that they show Ahem more assertive, more aggressive with Gopi. She's taken quite a few initiatives - the candles, ready to keep pace with him whatever his mood... it's time he did some running too.
