ahem glared at the little girl who dared sit on his mom s lap and eat his favorite dhokla.
Gopi looked open mouthed at the boy approaching her,he was the same ghamandi rakshas whose ball she had stolen.what was he doing here?he drew near and she could see anger burning in his eyes.without a single word he caught her ponytail and pulled her hair causing her to involuntarily slip from the nice aunty s lap which felt like a cushion and she screamed in pain.the sound was music to ahem s ears and he jerked even harder causing fat drops of tears to roll down her cheeks.that sight was heaven!!!she had dared to bite hi...ahem modi...she deserved to cry and yes he would definitely cause her more pain for stealing his ball
kokila was shocked at ahems behavior!he dare insult the pandit s daughter she gave her famous koki glare and warned him to release the girl but even then aham dint relent and koki had no other option but to intervene in the fight herself she caught hold of ahem s arm and tugged this caused ahem to loosen his grip on the kid and gopi escaped.ahem was fuming and he tried to claw koki s arms the rude behaviour in front of the guest was too much for koki and ahem was rewarded with a tight slap on his cheeks!!!!
ahem was stunned in his13 years of existence no one had ever dare raised their voice against him not that he had ever given a chance.he was the best -best at sports studies,extra curricular activities ans his mom always told him that he was her prince. but today??? she had hit him,the blow dint cause that much pain but his heart could not bear the fact that his mom slapped him,slapped him in front of an unknown man,slapped him because of that stupid girl.he was not someone who believed in forget and forgive.he would make that evil girl pay.
not oly that girl he was angry with his mom as well.he knew what he needed to do.he would definitely not eat dinner tonight.with all these evil thoughts in his head he went to his room without throwing a second glance to his mom or his brand new enemy(the first enemy- everyone else he knew wanted to please him and he used to allow them to play with him and his toys)
koki was really upset that she had slapped her son but she had no choice he had manhandled the pujari s daughter for no reason and this was just not acceptable..this was not the ahem she raised he had never got into a fight with any one till now what had changed today she wondered!she pacified a crying gopi with some chocolates a few sweet words and kisses.
the pujari and gopi left .koki knew ahem was supposed to go and get the list of items necessary for the puja but after the slap he would not agree and she herself went to the local shop nearby to get it.she saw a group of kids playing with ahem s red ball and was shocked as she knew he never gave his toys to others .ahem was really very possessive.she went to one of the kids and asked about the ball the terrified kid started howling and narrated the entire incident .
koki came home and was not surprised to see that ahem had not come out from his room.she called him for dinner and the reply was that he was not hungry.half an hour later koki went in with a plate of dal rice and sat next to ahem who pretended he was fast asleep. she started by saying"i will get you a new ball.dont worry beta!!"
ahem sat up straight on hearing about the new ball.he looked at koki with questioning eyes and she told him to forget about the ball.she explained that he should not have behaved in such a way with a girl,someone who was younger than him and was a guest .she taught him that there was a joy in giving and he would learn that someday.he could get as many expensive balls he wanted but the kids who took his ball could not and they would be really happy if he did not pursue the matter anymore and gave them the ball.after thinking long ahem agreed but made his mom promise that he would get a new one.
but he had not forgiven the girl for biting him and getting him slapped.so he devised a plan to
torture her the next day but he would make it look like accidents.
jigar was really in a bad mood and had absolutely no idea how he would live in this hell for one month.he was assigned a tent with 5other boys but he was in no mood to talk or interact with them and cried himself to sleep
the next day was even worse he got up late reached late for prayers was masde to run5rounds of the ground and he tripped on his own lace and fell.he would not give up he promised and continued with his punishment.after various activities(medals were given for the activities ) he met the plump girl who had saved his @$$ yesterday she gave him a smile and he smiled back.the next activity was tug of war and rashi was captain of one of the team while one of the guys who had insulted him yest was captain of the other.he knew he would not be picked on either team but was surprised to see the girl pointing a finger at him and choose him first. he was amazed that she had chosen him.rashi knew that if the bully chose jigar he would be really nervous and would not perform his best so just to help him fight back she had chosen him.people had always made fun of her as she was plump called her names'moti moti' was the only thing she was referred as.her classmates dint like her much and loved making fun of her but could not say anything on her face as she always came first in class and was the teachers pet.
the boys in her colony always teased her and she had used her physical strength to teach those wimps a lesson,they were shocked that a girl had hit them in such a way that they had tears in her eyes.after that day they had become very good friends and she had learnt a lot of slang words and learnt to play all sports.she was really good at many sports and they had encouraged her more.her mom urmila dint like her interaction with the rowdy guys that was the reason even when her father could not afford this expensive camp her mom had sent her here..
the teams were chosen and rashi made jigar stand on the starting of the line and she stood second.the match started and there was a lot of pulling and pushing.the bully taunted jigar so that he would get flustered and loosen his grip,but rashi kept encouraging him with her words.the bully had almost come close to the line when rashi lifted one hand and snapped her fingers(it was a signal to pull with all their strength as discussed earlier and jigar was unaware of) everyone pulled and suddenly that bully lay down on the ground his face covered in mud and jigar kept jumping and screaming
rasi congratulated him and told him that he has the strength to beat the bullys at their own game,jigar s chest swelled with pride this was the first time someone had valued him and when the medal was announced jigar was flying in air.this was the first time he had won something thanks to rashi who had picked him for her team.
he went and gathered his medal listening to the sweet sound of everyone s claps and heard rashi scream'thodi nakiyo phodi nakyo'(a gujrati scream)he was shocked that she used such language but was pleased at the same time that he was the recepient!!!
