Gopi and Ahem get shocked with simple touches---baby making process has a long way to go. Right now, they are at the stage of Eye Power, where only staring at each other, fingertips touching accidentally, and talking politely is allowed.

Wait for the BMP--it will take another 5 months or so. (Wish I had the "Click" remote, but there you go...5 months still!)

Rach, totally with you here... I'm just thinking from a "traditional" MIL's viewpoint.. the expectation is that the DIL produce an heir asap... I'm not sure if they really care if the couple is comfortable enough with each other... I could be wrong here, but from what I've seen and heard... the pressure to procreate (not necessarily recreate) is huge in traditional Indian households.

What do y'all think?

Well Im sure SNS will also include Koki's transition of accepting that her son loves both her & his wife...& as a MIL she should let her son move on in life !!!

It's true for traditional families, and the Modis are very traditional. I find it amazing that Koki hasn't pushed for grandchildren yet. Maybe then, the priority of her DIL and son to love each other is on a higher pedestal than for them to just procreate and give her grandchildren. Or simply, the CVs have decided to ignore that part. Whatever it really is, I want Gopi and Ahem to take their time. They both need to actually live their lives, before they create one. 😃
