My perspective,don't kill me! -Koki :@ thread - Page 4

I think Kokila is upset with the following things.
1. Her once obedient son has a lot of rebellion in him these days. He went so far to chide her when he found Gopi fainting.
2. The DIL who always agrees with her is not the same anymore. She seems to take Ahem's side against hers when there is a clash of opinions'
3. Both her son and DIL are hiding something from her and are secretive around her.
4. She can perceive a closeness that was not there before between her son and DIL but she cannot understand why.
5. Gopi is getting too close to Raashi who Kokila considers a liar and a bad influence on Gopi. (cannot disagree here)

This may be reason 1 - Her son is not concentrating on work. She catches him going around Gopi, missing meetings, staying up all night, now going to the temple without informing her and then going to the movies..

All these are difficult for Kokila to digest that easily. I totally agree that today was a little over the usual. Does not fit with Koki's character. But maybe this anger will lead her to confront Ahem which atleast will make him realize why he is doing all this. (fallen for Gopi being the answer).

hi all, my two cents o the koki bashing..

and as the ttel says, its my perspecitve , so dont kill me 😉

Koki being concerned about ahem/gopi is not completely incorrect also. we shouldnt forget that gopi had two minor accidents or near accidents after fall and all because of the mobile phones used by rashi.ahem...Ahem didnt do anything on purpose, but the fact was gopi did fall because for a split second he was diverted, same can happen again in theatre..
so care or extra part of care on part of parents isn't wrong, children think of it as being strict etc. but it is required i think. There is all probablility that gopi can have a small crash/accident again in theatre..so koki's care is not completely wrong. But she went over board in asking Ahem to shift places.

And for Koki interferring, as others mentioned, I too dont want Koki to turn -ve and hopefully she wont. I think its a first for her that her son/DIL both who would do what she wanted are now doing thinkgs by themsevles, so it will take her a while to get used to it.

Some ppl might be able to relate to the feeling of being isolated when your best friend is suddenly engaged and she doesnt have any time for you. You graudally get used to it and so does your friend..but it takes some time I think.

So hopefully Koki will give them space and at same time gradaully gopi/ahem should also be able to provide KOki the security that even though they are together, her space/importance is still intact..

I agree that little care is necessary by parents but today her behaviour was exceedingly weird. Why to switch places with ahem?
Did she forget that gopi was about to fall in the kitchen but luckily ahem saved her. Suppose ahem was not there then whose responsibility was it. Obviously it was of koki because she had allowed her to work although she said only sitting work but what after that, she didn't even cared about her and went on her work and giving the responsibility to none other than mithi😆 That was so irresponsible on her part. Noone is perfect. Ahem was not but he is trying to change but she is making it difficult for him😡

I would just say give her some time, its new feeling for her and everyone goes through it..looking at her past record, hopefully it wont become a marathon saga of koki vs ahem/gopi 😛

i remem i too had become upset with my brother who i adored becaus eof his so called gf..but ppl grow out of it gradually !

the other thing i have realised is, that when you argue with your elders, the point is nt who is right, the point is about respecting your elders..so yes ahem is right, but gradually it may become a give n take relationship, they help her realise she is equally or is very much impt and she will give them space 😳

its new for all the 3 ppl invovled gopi ahem and koki, slowly they will all learn..till then we keep analysing :)
