Hello to all my dear fellow Saathiya Friends.

So I am not sure where CVs are going with the current track besides the obvious way to bring Ahem and Gopi closer, but I am still not satisfied with it. Are they trying to bring Raji closer also? I have nothing against this, but do you guys feel Rashi has really changed? Yeah she is lot nicer to Gopi now, but how long will that last?

Anyway I agree with Kristin, only Koki and Jigar are sane people lately and mentioned to Kristin in her post may be Koki and Jigar should team up and come up with a twist to make Rashi and Ahem realize how they have wronged their spouses.

I have come up with my Jigar and Koki twist. Here is part 1. It was only going to be one part, but it was getting too long, so I am splitting it.

I will explain why I am naming this Redemptions at the end. Hope you enjoy it.

OS: Redemptions

Part 1

Jigar paced back and forth in confusion and frustration. For the first time he was stumped by his brother's behavior. His brother had changed so much in the past few months but to this extreme is hard to believe. He knew most of it was his bhabhi's influence, god bless her loving heart, but he needed to make them understand he knew what he is doing by keeping his distance from Rashi.

He obviously needed help in this and tried to think whom he could talk to. Definitely not his parents, his dad was a businessman first and last. His mom was just like his Bhabhi too quick to forgive. His kaka and baa were out of the question. His Kaki was the only choice. He knew his kaki would help if he explained the situation to her.

Koki was watching Jigar pace and mutter to himself. She didn't know what was going on with her kids these days. She thought some time away from Rashi would help Jigar heal a little but the trip was cancelled and now Jigar looked more frustrated. Her son and vahu are also hiding something from her and the family.

Jigar turned to his Kaki standing behind him watching him curiously. He was glad she was there, now he can have privacy to discuss his problem. "Kaki I was going to come find you." Koki came and stood next to Jigar. "What's wrong Jigar?"

Jigar knew this would have to be handled delicately, he took deep breath and started telling his Kaki what was going on. "Kaki you know Bhai has been acting out of character lately and I thought it is because he is unable to express his feelings to Bhabhi. I thought the whole trip to mandir and to the movies was because he wanted to spend time with Bhabhi and he included Rashi and me because he is still having hard time revealing his feelings. I went along thinking it would help them relax with each other, but I am not so sure anymore." His kaki was listening to him silently. This is a good sign.

He continued before she asked him any questions. "It turns out Bhai is doing this because he wants to help Bhabhi bring me and Rashi closer." His Kaki's shocked expression told him she had also thought that his Bhai was trying to close the distance between him and Bhabhi.

Koki knew her vahu was naive and didn't think her sister could be devious but what is wrong with her son? She thought he was too smart to believe that Rashi has changed.

"Kaki I know what you are thinking and I agree with you. Rashi is not yet completely changed, and Bhai also is not ready to admit his feelings. I need your help in making them understand that they need make Rashi realize that she is not going to win me over by doing what she is doing, instead she is pushing me away further." Jigar needed to do this without hurting his Bhabhi; she was the innocent one in the whole situation.

Koki realized Jigar wanted Rashi to win his trust on her own, not by using her Gopi vahu. He also wanted his Bhai to stop hiding his feelings and admit he is in love with his wife. She had been frustrated by her son for days and hadn't seen any solution as to how to make him understand that by claiming responsibility for Gopi vahu he is setting himself and his wife up for a heartbreak. She couldn't take it if her son once again rejected her vahu after doing so much for her. It seems she needed to tell her son some home truths.

"Jigar I want to help you but first I have tell you few things. This needs to stay between us because for one I don't want to hurt my Gopi vahu, she loves her sister dearly and the other thing is I don't want Ahem to accept Gopi vahu because he feels guilty." Koki told Jigar about all the tricks she suspected Rashi played to keep Ahem and Gopi apart.

Jigar was shocked to learn all of Rashi's activities and was even more determined to make her work hard to earn his trust. "We need to handle this carefully kaki. You are right if Bhabhi learns the truth about Rashi she will be heartbroken" Koki nodded her head in agreement. They were both startled to hear Hetal behind them.

"Jigar dikra." Hetal walked towards her son with tears in her eyes. She did not like to see the distress on his face but today she was proud of him. "I am very proud of you today." She turned to Koki. "You were right Kokila my son is grown up now and today I realized that I need to let him go and decide what he wants to do." She turned back to Jigar. "I am with you on this and I won't be too hasty to believe Rashi so quickly. She needs to earn our trust the right way and that won't happen until we make her realize this."

"Jigar, are you sure you want to confront her on this, she could turn the opposite way?" Koki asked him.

"Ji kaki, this is the only way we will be able determine if she changed for real and wants to stay with me because she loves me and not for what Modi name can give her." Jigar realized this could be said for his Bhai also. "Kaki same could be said of Bhai also, what if he says he only cared for Bhabhi because of guilt and duty?"

Koki had already thought about this and she had come up with a painful decision. "Then I will have to make Ahem free Gopi to start her life somewhere else." Thought of letting go of her Gopi vahu was causing her more pain than anyone will ever know but she couldn't let her vahu live on hope that her husband may come to love her someday.

Hetal knew how painful this would be for Kokila, for all of them, because everyone loved Gopi so much. It is not enough for them to love her, she needed her Husband's love also, and Jigar also needed a wife he could trust not someone who took the easy way out.

Jigar prayed that his Bhai realized how lucky he was to have such a loving and dutiful wife. "Kaki first thing tomorrow morning I am going to call our client Mr. Sharma and schedule my meeting with him and make my traveling arrangements for day after tomorrow. I am sure now Bhai cancelled the trip." Koki had suspected her son might have done this when she saw his worried face after telling Jigar his trip was cancelled. She didn't care that he had done this but it would have made her feel better if he had done it for the right reasons.

They all agreed to put everything in front of Ahem, Gopi and Rashi the next night.

After Jigar left both Hetal and Koki talked about how to go about bringing their children's happiness back. They both realized that up to now they have taken a wrong approach to everything. Hetal realized she had been too soft with Rashi while Koki realized she had been too hard on her. Koki also realized she needs to loosen her grip on her Gopi vahu and her son needs to decide what is right and what is wrong for him.

They were happy that Jigar is getting more responsible but they knew it was going to be hard to teach Gopi to let Rashi learn and so things on her own, only then both Hetal and Koki will be worry free about their kids' future.

Next day Jigar called and asked Mr. Sharma what happened and was not surprised to learn his Bhai had postponed the meeting. He made arrangements to meet Mr. Sharma the next day to talk over the project.

He made all the travel arrangements before going to his Bhai's office.

Jigar was pleasantly surprised to see a goofy smile on his brother's face. He must have been reading a message from Bhabhi. Jigar shook his head mentally. What a difference few months can make, he was in his Bhai's place few months back completely smitten with his wife while his Bhai had done everything in his power to remain indifferent to his wife. He still loved Rashi but just couldn't trust her anymore. This is what he needs to convince his Bhai and Bhabhi of, trust once broken is hard to earn again. Rashi needs to restore his trust before they can move on.

Ahem noticed Jigar standing near the door and wiped the smile off his face and put the phone away. "Jigar, come in, did you need something?" Jigar sat down in the chair and placed his folded hands on Ahem's desk. "Bhai I wanted to talk to you about something personal." Ahem sat up and leaned forward. "Ok, tell me what's on your mind."

Jigar was stunned for a moment but then thought this is different Ahem Modi. "Bhai I know you and Bhabhi want to see me happy and this is why you are making plans so Rashi and I can spend time together." Ahem sighed, he knew either Jigar or his mom would catch them. "Bhai I know what I am doing by keeping my distance. Let me ask you something." When Ahem gave his consent Jigar continued. "Would you have let me do same thing for you and Bhabhi that you are doing for me and Rashi?" Ahem had no answer, he knows he would have blasted anyone who tried to force him to spend time with Gopi in the past.

Jigar stood up. "Bhai please try to make Bhabhi understand why Rashi shouldn't depend on her so much. And you should be getting Bhabhi to pay attention to you instead of spending time on us." He left quickly before his brother could shout at him. When he was sure he was safe he laughed at the expression he had seen on his Ahembhai's face before leaving his office. Jigar hoped his Bhai thinks about what he said. Now on to phase two of their plan, he needed to inform his Kaki also.

After dinner Jigar signaled his mom and Kaki before going to his father's room to talk to him.

Ahem was still thinking back on Jigar's words when Gopi and Rashi walked into the room. He didn't know how he felt about Rashi taking too much of Gopi's time. He had wanted to talk to Gopi but now it will have to wait. Girls had just settled on the bed when Jigar walked in unannounced. "Bhai I wanted to talk to you about our client Mr. Sharma." Ahem stood up and frowned. "What about him Jigar? I thought I told you he was too busy to see us right now." Jigar didn't want to tell him he called Mr. Sharma, he used the same reason Ahem had used two days back. "Bhai, Mr. Sharma called me today, you were busy so I took the call. It turns out he can see me after all. I will be leaving in the morning. I already spoke to papa and all the arrangements have been made also."

Ahem gave Gopi and Rashi a sideway look. He narrowed his eyes on Jigar and realized his brother just outsmarted them. Gopi spoke from behind him. "But Devarji, do you have to go tomorrow?" Ahem raised his eyebrow at Jigar and thought see if you can convince her.

Jigar knew this was it. He knew his bhabhi wouldn't be able to resist reasoning with him. "Bhabhi I know why you want me stay back, but I am sorry I am not going to, most especially for the reason you want me to stay back for, I told you two days back bhabhi, I would do anything you asked of me, but please don't force me to give Rashi a second chance." He looked towards Rashi and looked away. He was about to leave when his bhabhi stopped him once again.

Gopi couldn't let her Devarji leave without hearing her out at least once. "Devarji, Rashiben has changed, she regrets what happened, please don't do this, just think about it."

Jigar moved in front of his bhabhi. "Bhabhi I know you love your sister and want the best for her, but has she really changed bhabhi?" Gopi nodded her head confidently. Jigar shook his head at his bhabhi's innocence. "Nahi bhabhi she hasn't changed at all. First she used her mom for ideas to marry me and then remain in this house, now she is using you and bhai also. If Rashi truly loved me and wanted to work things out with me, she wouldn't try to find the easy way out." He couldn't take the tears in his bhabhi's eyes so he turned away from her to compose himself, he couldn't give in yet. Everyone's happiness depended on this conversation.

Jigar turned back to his Bhabhi. "I know this is going to hurt you bhabhi, but I have to ask you. What did you do when you and bhai were having problems? Did you go run to your mami for ideas, or to Rashi?" Gopi glanced towards Ahem who was listening intently. "No you didn't, did you? Another thing, did Rashi ever offer to help you to bring you and bhai closer?" He knew the answer to this, but waited.

Gopi could honestly answer this question and nodded her head. "Yes Devarji she did, many times." Jigar fringed surprised and Ahem was shocked. Jigar turned to Rashi and said mockingly. "Did she really bhabhi? Kya baat hain Rashi, you never told me about this. You helped bhabhi? Why didn't you ask me to help you like bhabhi asked bhai to help her?" He dared Rashi to lie, but she only bowed her head in shame. Finally, he was getting to her.

He turned back to Gopi. "So why did it take so long for bhai to come near you? Never mind about that, but when nothing worked what did you do bhabhi?" Gopi was not sure what her Devarji was trying do but again she answered him honestly. "I left everything to my Kanaji." Gopi was afraid she has failed her sister today. She couldn't help her Rashiben win her love. "Exactly bhabhi, this is what I am trying to point out. You have more maturity in the tip of your finger than Rashi has in her whole body." Jigar stopped when he heard the knock on the door. Perfect timing.

They all turned to see Meethi by the door. "Ahembhai, nanibhabhi wanted to see you in her room." Ahem nodded. "Ok Meethi, I will go see her." He turned to Jigar. "Let me know what time your flight leaves, I will drop you off at the airport." Jigar nodded and raised his fist mentally at the victory. His bhai understood him and now Kaki will point out few facts to his bhai also.

Jigar waited to make sure his bhai was gone before turning back to his bhabhi. "Bhabhi I know there is still distance between bhai and you and you need to concentrate on bhai only. Leave Rashi and me to fix our own problems. If Rashi really cared for me, she would get to know me first. She wouldn't ask you to do her work and claim credit for it. She should learn from you bhabhi. Look how you won over bhai and know what his likes and dislikes are, what he eats, drinks, what color he likes, all those little things that a wife should know about her husband because she loves him and want to make him happy by taking care of him." Jigar left without giving Rashi another look.

Ok so this was end of part 1. I have yet to finish rest, and hope to post it tonight before I go to sleep.😊

*Edit*

Awesome OS (Part 1)! I cannot wait to read the second part to see the conclusion. Jigar's method of convincing Aham to not interfere was a stroke of genius (on your part of course 😆). Loving how Kokila, Hetal, and Jigar are in this to make Rashi and Aham see their past mistakes.

Cheers!

That is an awesome os shilpa. Jigar is smart enough to understand that all what happend was plan of Ahem and his babhi to bring him closer to Rashi. But he is now outplaying Ahem, making him realise his situation is no better than Jigar's. Also, loved it when Jigar made Gopi understand that Rashi needs to work her own to win his trust not using other's help.
Now, I am so excited to know what Kokila is going to tell Ahem and how Gopi is going to cop up with the departure from the family.

Part 2

Part 2.

Ahem knocked on his mom's bedroom door before walking in to greet his mom. He was surprised to see his mom's tensed face. She looked upset about something. He immediately moved towards her. "Mom, what is wrong? Why are you so tensed?" When she didn't say anything his anxiety increased. "Mom pleas tell me what has to so tense? You know I don't like to see you distressed."

Koki turned to her son's worried face and prayed to Kanaji that she hadn't been wrong to guess her son's true feelings for his wife. "You have me in distress Ahem." Ahem moved back and frowned. "What, why?' Koki pulled her pallu over her shoulder and stood up.

She took few steps away from her son and kept her back to him. 'Why are you helping Rashi to mend her relationship with Jigar? Do you not care for your own relationship with your wife?'

Ahem went to his mom and stood in front of her. "Mom of course I care. I am taking care of Gopi as you pointed out. You are right she is my wife and it was my responsibility to see to her needs. Have you not realized this mom?" Koki shook her head. "Yes Ahem you are taking care of her but is it because of guilt or because you have come to love her as a husband should? The things you have done for her so far, is it because you feel responsible and doing your husbandly duty only. Have you really accepted my Gopi vahu as your wife, your life partner?' And if you have come to love her as a husband should then why is there still distance, hesitation, and awkwardness between you two?" Koki hoped that was enough to get her son thinking.

Ahem was speechless. He thought his mom had been upset because of his growing closeness with Gopi, but this was completely opposite. His mom was upset because he hadn't confessed his true feelings. He had been ready, but the misunderstanding over the gift had thrown him off. He realized he didn't know if Gopi still loved him or not. She didn't go out of her way to show him her feelings anymore. In fact in the past few months she had thanked him for every little thing he did for her, but as a friend would, not as a wife would. He hadn't seen her loose herself and give him that worshipping look she used to. He thought by agreeing to help her with Jigar it would also give him opportunity to come close to her by spending time with her.

Koki broke into his thoughts. "Ahem the reason I am pointing this out is because I don't want you to give my Gopi vahu any false hopes. She has been hurt enough, I want you to tell me what your intentions are, so I can decide what to do next."

Ahem was shocked, what is his mom planning to do. "Mom what do you mean by decide what to do next? What are you going to do?"

Koki smirked inwardly, now she could see her son's anxiety increase even more. "Ahem I have decided that if you don't want Gopi vahu as your wife, then it is time to let her go, and let her find her happiness with someone else. Someone who will love her like she deserved to be loved. You are right I shouldn't force her on you."

When did I say that? Ahem thought to himself. "No mom you can't do that." Ahem said anxiously. His mom raised an eyebrow at him. "Why not?" Ahem took his mom to the bed and made her sit. He kneeled in front of her and placed his head in her lap like he used to do as a child. "Mom you were right, Gopi is the perfect life partner for me. I love her mom, and I only want her as my wife." Koki smiled with tears in her eyes, she placed her hand on her son's head and made him look up at her. "I didn't realize this until it was almost too late mom. I could have lost her in that accident and regretted not telling her how much she means to me."

Koki smiled down at him. "Then why are still waiting? Why don't you tell her how you feel?" Ahem sighed. "Mom I don't know how she feels about me anymore. She was so easy to read before, but not anymore. I also thought you were upset with my growing closeness with her."

Koki laughed and shook her head at her son. "Ahem I was not upset because of that, I was upset because I thought you were doing everything because you felt guilty about the accident." She placed her hand on his cheek. "As for Gopi vahu she still loves you, she only hides her feelings from you because she doesn't think you want her to love you. Do you remember on Teej we all thought she broke her fast?" Ahem vaguely remembered his mom locking her in the storage room. "Do you know she didn't break her fast, she only lied because she didn't want you to leave you work to break her fast. She lied to make you happy. I am not telling you this to make you feel guilty, I am telling you this because I know her only aim is to make you happy. She will do anything to make sure you are never in distress because of her."

Ahem looked up at his mom with painful expression on his face. This worried Koki. "Mom will she forgive me? I have caused her so much pain in the past, how can she get past that and love me still? Mom not only did I give her mental and emotional abuse, I also slapped her. If she had done this to me, I wouldn't have forgiven her at all, then how can I expect her to forgive me?" Koki was so proud of her son. It is good that he has come to this realization on his own, it will make it easier for him to make up for all those time, and he will never again hurt his vahu like he did in the past.

Ahem was right though her Gopi vahu has been thru so much. Ahem wasn't the only one who had wronged Gopi, but she also didn't treat her vahu right. She also needs to seek forgiveness from her vahu. "Ahem dikra, you still haven't realized Gopi's nature. She is the most honest, loving and forgiving person I have ever come across in my life. She will forgive you I am sure of this, however I think you should tell her how you feel about her after asking her to forgive you and then you can show her your love. She won't believe you overnight, but just have patience, get to know her, spend time with her, let her know you want to move forward with your marriage, I am she will be overjoyed to hear this." Koki was at peace, now she can thank her Krishna bhagwan and pray to him to keep her kids happy always. She knew she didn't have to worry about her son and vahu anymore, they will both work out their differences in time, and nothing or no one will come between them. Now she hoped that Jigar is granted the same happiness and she will do all she can to bring the smile back on Jigar's face.

Jigar placed the sweater on the top and zipped up the bag before placing it on the floor beside the bed. He was about to go make his bed on the couch when Rashi walked in with a long face. He ignored her and continued to make his bed. "Jigarji, please don't go like this, how many times can I say sorry before you will forgive me?"

Jigar kept his back to her. "I would forgive you Rashi, if I knew that you have really changed, but you continue to use tricks, instead of genuinely try to change. You want everything now; you have no patience or will to work for what you want. You want the easy way out. Tell me something Rashi, did you ever plan to confess your sins, or would you have kept on doing what you were doing if Sonal hadn't revealed the truth to me. Would you have continued to keep your distance or did you plan to move forward with our marriage in the future?"

Jigar turned to Rashi. "You claim to love me now, but I ask you Rashi where was that love in the year of our marriage? If you loved me then why did you always pull away when I tried to come close to you? Forget it Rashi, you can never change. You only know how to use people, you only love yourself and money and status. You only had one reason to marry me, and that was so you can enjoy the luxuries of this house and the status of Modi name. You wanted to rule this house and it's people that is why you played every trick in the book to separate Gopibhabhi from bhai and to have her kicked out of this house." Jigar knew that if this didn't change Rashi then nothing would. "Don't look so shocked Rashi, I know everything."

Jigar moved away from her but kept watching her. You should be ashamed of yourself Rashi, asking your younger sister for help, the person you wronged so much. I am shocked and appalled Rashi, that you felt no shame in asking bhabhi to help you. You never once felt guilty about what you did to her. You don't even know how to be a good sister to a person who has always done things for you, even brought you back to this house, how can you be a good wife?"

Jigar walked away from her but turned back. "I may still love you Rashi, but I don't trust you. I want you to stop all this drama claiming to love me and asking me to forgive you. You don't deserve my forgiveness. I hope Gopibhabi never finds out what you did to her, it will break her heart. Please stop using her, she finally have some happiness in her life, let her enjoy it." He hesitated and decided to give her one last warning. "And Rashi, don't even think about playing any tricks on bhabhi in the future because I won't spare you if you hurt bhabhi again." He lay on the sofa and closed his eyes.

Rashi turned off the lights and walked over to the bed to sit. She felt an overwhelming pain in her heart. She finally realized she had the best thing in her hands but she lost it all because she had been too selfish and greedy. She did everything she could to keep Gopi away from Ahem but Gopi's honesty, and belief in her Kanaji won her the love of her husband and the whole family. Jigarji was right she had wronged her sister and him, not only them, but the whole family. She needed to learn from Gopi and genuinely try to win her husband back by learning about him and have patience. Nothing is free in life; you have to work hard to earn what you want. She also needed to seek Gopi's forgiveness, and hope that her sister gave her a chance to make up for all the pain she caused her in the past.

Ahem walked back to his room feeling numb. He had wanted to thank Jigar for pointing out that he needed to concentrate on his relationship and leave his and Rashi to him. What he just heard Jigar say about Rashi playing tricks on Gopi to get her out of the house had made him mad at Rashi. Jigar was right he hoped his Gopi never found out the truth because it would kill her.

He walked into their room and closed and locked the door. She was sitting on the side of the bed with a sad face. He sat next to her. "Gopi, are you okay?" She turned to him with tears in her eyes. "Ahemji I failed today, for the first time I couldn't do what Rashiben asked me to do for her." Ahem put his arm around her and pulled her to his chest. "Shh…Gopi, you didn't fail. Jigar knows what he is doing. Rashi needs to earn his trust. Forcing him to spend time with her is not going to make him forgive her; she needs to show him she has changed. She broke his trust, she needs to earn back that trust." She pulled back and looked at him in confusion.

Ahem wiped her tears. "I want you to forget about them for now, let them work it out on their own. Help her in other things to make her a better person so that she can start being a responsible wife and vahu, just like you, only then Jigar will start to believe the change in her and start to forgive her." Gopi became aware of Ahem's arm around her and started to pull back, but Ahem stopped her.

She looked up at him shyly. "Gopi teach me also how to be like you, so that I can ask for your forgiveness and earn your love and trust. I don't deserve your forgiveness or a second chance but I am going to ask anyway, because I don't think I can live without you." Gopi placed her hand on his mouth. "Ahemji please don't say that, and there is nothing to forgive, I didn't blame you for what happened in the past. It wasn't anyone's fault, under the circumstances how could I have expected you to accept an uneducated, simple girl as your wife?" Gopi looked down at her feet.

Ahem made her look at him. "No Gopi you are wrong, no matter what the circumstances of our marriage, I made a promise when we got married, but I broke that promise. You didn't deserve to be treated like you were, and I hope you give me a chance to show you how much I have come to love you."

Gopi couldn't believe what was happening right in front of her eyes. It all felt like a dream. "Ahemji, are you sure?" Ahem smiled down at her. "Yes Gopi I am very sure. Now we are going to sleep and starting tomorrow we are going to work on getting to know each other and spend time together, and as soon as you are completely healed the first thing we are going to do is get married again. I know it hurt you to take your wedding vows back and it will be hard for you to move forward without those, so I will talk to mom in the morning to make arrangements as soon as possible." He knew she would be distressed as soon as he mentioned his mom.

"Gopi you know that mom loves you right?" Gopi nodded her head yes. "I think she loves you more than she loves me even, and she wanted to know my intentions towards you because she didn't want to see you hurt again. She was upset because she didn't like the distance between us. So don't worry mom will approve our second marriage happily." Ahem helped her in bed then turned of all the lights before joining her on the bed. He smiled at her reassuringly. "Nothing is going happen between us yet physically, but I want you to get used to seeing me on the bed." She smiled and closed her eyes, and after watching her for few minutes Ahem also closed his eyes, and dreamed of his future with Gopi.

Next morning Ahem dropped Jigar off at the airport. He thanked Jigar and told him he was proud of his little brother. Jigar smiled happily at his brother and teased him by saying how much his Gopi bhabhi has changed his bhai, Ahem agreed.

Rashi meanwhile didn't know where to begin, but she was determined to do things the right way this time. She was still thinking about what to do when her phone rang, she knew it would be her mom. "Hello mummy, how are you?"

On the other side Urmi started her complains about money and Kinjal than she went on to ask how Rashi was doing with winning over the family. She continued not realizing Rashi was silent. When Rashi heard her mom start giving her wrong advice again she snapped. "Mummy enough, I don't want to hear anything against Jigarji and my family. You need to solve your own problems leave me to make up for my wrong doings." Urmila was shocked and was about to blast her daughter but Rashi never gave her the chance. "And mummy from today on I am turning off this phone so if you want to talk to me you can call on the landline, but only if it's important otherwise don't call me." Rashi hung up the phone and turned it off.

"Rashi?" Rashi turned to see her mother in law, Kaki and Gopi standing by the door. "Ji kakiji?" Koki moved forward and stood in front of Rashi. "Do you really want to turn off your phone?" Rashi nodded. "Good, I am glad you are starting to realize what you did wrong in the past, and now consider us your family. Now we will help you learn to be a good wife and a good vahu, like my Gopi vahu." Rashi had tears in her eyes, and glanced at Gopi to see her smile at her, her mother in law was also giving her an encouraging smile. "Really Kaki, you will help me?" Koki smiled. "Yes Rashi as long as you genuinely want to change and have realized what is right from wrong then we really want to help you earn Jigar's trust." Rashi threw herself at Koki and hugged her. "Thank you kakiji, I promise I won't let you and mummyji down this time." Koki blessed her and then Hetal also hugged her and blessed her.

Rashi hugged Gopi also as Koki and Hetal looked on. "Rashi, not only you but we all have something to regret. We realized we took the wrong approach to make you realize what you were doing was wrong. So by helping you we can also make up for our wrong doing." Koki now knew anger wasn't the answer to everything, sometimes love and affections worked just as well.

So began the redemption of the key characters of Modi Bhavan. Hetal, Koki, Ahem, Gopi, Rashi and Jigar all had at least one thing to repent for, and by acknowledging their past mistakes they were able to move forward by learning form the mistake, and also not repeating the mistake again.

Koki made up for her past mistake by helping Rashi to learn the right way to do things, and Hetal also did her part in by being firm with Rashi instead of hiding her mistakes. Gopi also realized that her sister needed to do her own work and not do it for her. She also contributed to Rashi's behavior by covering up for her, but now Gopi has realized that is not what her Rashiben needed.

Ahem is making up for his past behavior by showing Gopi how much he loves her now, and apologizes to her every day. Once she was completely healed, he did as he promised and married her again this time vowing to not break his promise. Gopi and Ahem's relationship move forward steadily.

Jigar returned from his business trip two weeks later and was pleasantly surprised to see Rashi make genuine effort to learn his likes and dislikes. He didn't give in easily as he had in the past. He realized he was also to be blamed for always turning blind eye in the past and this contributed to Rashi's attitude. It will take time for him to trust her again, but the process has started.

Now you guys are going to wonder what happened to Kinjal and Urmila. Well we all know we can't get away from the Kalakari. Urmi was highly upset with Rashi for picking the Modi's over her own mother, so she decided she will make Rashi payback one day for rejecting her. Kinjal will forever remain the same and blame her mom Koki for her misfortunes so she joined hands with Urmi to come up with Kalakari's to take revenge on the Modi family. There was no redemption for the two of them; they don't think they have anything to repent for.

As for Baa, Chirag, Parag, Jeetubhai and last but not the least Dhaval took the change in dynamics of the family in stride and continued as they were.

~THE END~
