Hey dear! You're having the wrong assumptions in mind!
It's not Star Plus that is responsible for providing Promos! They request the channel to provide promos, then it solely depends on the Production House to make one! They need to have time and actors available in order to shoot for a Promo. Since SNS is the # 1 show on TV, it must be a very busy schedule for them, just for daily shoots, so you can imagine when Nazim always says how hectic their schedules are, so they must be having NO time at all for Promos since they are giving their 100% to the show's main episode telecast.
Let me remind you one thing, when SNS was climbing heights of TRP, when suddenly SNS shot up to # 1 spot on TRP, even SNS had started shooting for new promos every week! Does anyone remember? Every Wednesday I think, there was a new promo, when we would all come to the forum and begin discussing the Promo! So now that Diya Aur Baati Hum is suddenly climbing the heights of TRP is on # 3 spot I think, then of course to MAINTAIN that spot the Production House of DABH will continue to give promos to attract MORE viewers! BUT when the TRP will become stable, they will stop giving new promos, just like SNS. Because it consumes a lot of time and money too.

And as far as Rajan Shahi is concerned, then yes, he does have amazing connections with Star Plus ever since Bidaai times, since Bidaai was among the top rated shows of TV when it was on air. Star Plus loves to accept Rajan Shahi's shows, because the channel knows that Rajan Shahi is GOOD.
Further, Rajan Shahi, is very much aware about the impact of promos on viewers, since Bidaai times, his Production House has always been punctual when it comes to Promos. Okay forget Bidaai, since the show is off air. Take Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which is also a Rajan Shahi Prodution, don't you see how there is a new promo every week/two weeks? It's the Production which shoots for the promo and gets it on air. Not Star Plus.
Star Plus, would in fact be really happy if SNS would release promos because then the channel can make money from the Promos too. But it's the Production House which doesn't want to give any promos.
So please complain to the production house of SNS, not Star.
