This is after Koki intruded on the massage scene and after the slap Ahem got from Gopi.

Gopi never looked so scared in her life. Everyone around was pretty shocked by what happened.

Gopi almost got told off by Koki however Ahem butt in an explained that it was accidental and just a reflex action on Gopi's part and unfortunately he was in the way. Gopi felt really bad and at the same time relieved that everyone dropped the matter. She made a mental note to personally apologise to Ahem when they are alone.

A s soon as the doctor left, everyone cleared the room. Just before leaving Kokila gave a Gopi stern look asking her to press the bell for help and not to bother Ahem. Gopi nodded quietly.

Gopi "Ji woh,..." Ahem,"Ahh kya..." Gopi "Sorry kahena chahti thi, tabhi aapko bohot chod nayne laga...?" (I wanted to say sorry ...did it hurt badly.)

Ahem: "...in mock anger ...it did hurt ...were you trying to exact revenge for the slap i gave you a year ago. "

Gopi: "Gee...what slap are you talking about...i don't remember you slapping me ...when?

Ahem: "Remember the letter and the necklace...incident" (Gee is my wife so forgiving that she forgot the slap I gave her).

Gopi: "Nahi,...i knew you won't believe me but truly it was an accident."

Seeing her worried and distressed, Ahem goes on saying, you can make up for it. Gopi goes, "How?"

With a cheeky smile, Ahem came towards her, sat on the bed close to her. He lean forward and asked her to kiss his cheeks...Gopi turned as red as a tomato. She looked uncomfortable and embarrassed. Ahem coaxed her and she had no choice, she lean forward and quickly pecked his cheeks. Ahem clearly enjoying her discomfort, said not like that but like this, he went to demonstrate by kissing Gopi's cheeks. This time she did not dare to meet his eye, he lifted her chin asking her to meet his eyes . Just then Kokila came, Ahem Dikra, come down and have your tea. With that they both pulled apart quickly.

Ahem thought this is getting a bit much. I don't have any privacy to spend time with my wife and everyone seems to be getting in the way. Enough of this...I will have to do something about this.

Oh ya, I need to talk to Gopi about the letter and the necklace. Ahem responded to Koki by saying that he will be there soon.

Gopi, I need to ask you something, said Ahem. Do you still have the necklace and the letter? Yes, in the cupboard on the left side, bottom drawer.

Ahem when and took it out. As he took it out he noticed the photograph of Gopi's parents and also saw a newspaper clipping with his photograph in it. He smiled. He asked Gopi if she would like to display the photograph...he did not wait for her answer, he simply displayed it on the chest against the wall. Gopi is touched by this gesture.

He took the letter read it. " Gopi, who read this letter to you?" "Rashi," replied Gopi. Ahem will proceed to read the original letter to her. Gopi started to cry and said she did not know that that was what was originally content in the letter.

Ahem,"I want you to listen to me clearly, Gopi." "I did not write this letter, yes at that time I did love Anita. This is not even my handwriting. "

Gopi distressed, "Kinjal behan told me I should not marry you because you love Anita, I should have listened?"

Gopi if I tell you something will you believe me? Gopi nodded. Ahem continued, " i don't ever want you to believe either Kinjal or Rashi again. Kinjal may be my sister but she has lost my trust and as for Rashi , she is sly as your mami and until they both earn that trust back I do not want you to believe anything they say. From now on, I want you to tell me anything that is said or done by them to you, do you understand."

Gopi looked surprised and puzzled by this new Ahem. Ahem said, I want you to concentrate on getting better. Rest now, we will talk more later. He touches her cheeks and leaves the room.

Meanwhile Kokila again made her way to their room, annoyed that Ahem had not come down for tea. Ahem thought to himself my next plan is to deal with my mum and her interference.

A month had pass since Gopi's injuries. She is getting stronger and starting to walk and do stuff around the house. Ahem spoke to his mum after the last incident about giving Gopi and him some privacy and that he liked tending to Gopi. He also reminded Koki that at one stage she was constantly looking for any excuse for them to spend time together and now all she does is keep them apart. Koki would not budge and insist that she is only looking out for both of them. She did not want his work and career to suffer.

Meanwhile the relationship between Gopi and Ahem was getting better. They communicate more than usual. Ahem constantly teasing her. Jigar notices this new Ahem and also teases him about it. Baa is happy to see Ahem happy again.

Meanwhile, Ahem is still tolerating his mum interference.

He came home one day after work and announced that Modi Industries has won a building project in Chennai. Since the project is his baby, he will be going away to Chennai. He said he will need to be there for at least three months. He also made it clear that he is taking Gopi with him as he would need her there to take care of his needs...

Koki goes," how is Gopi going to cope in Chennai on her own." Ahem retorted, "Who says she will be on her own, I am there. I am sure Gopi is capable of running a household on her own. We will be staying in our own fully furnished apartment, the area is safe and arrangements have been made."

Ahem turned to Gopi and said "I want you to start packing as we will be away for at least three months. We will be leaving in two days."

Ahem left no room for arguments. Kokila admitted defeat. Hetal and her decided to quickly arrange for a pooja before the couple leaves.

Gopi could not hide her happiness...Ahem actually wanted her to come along.

Ahem thought secretly to himself...now mum how are you going to keep me away from my wife...

Ahem already made plans about how he was going to vow and court his wife without interference.
