Thank you all for all your wonderful comments and likes.šŸ¤—šŸ¤—

Well it certainly didn't happen the way we would have wanted to or the way I thought would be good way to reveal everything, but the precap gave me a new hope.

Once again thank you friends.

I only watched the precap of tomorrows episode, it gave me new hope, and and of course an inspiration for OS, now with a different version. I must have watched the precap ten times to figure out if Ahem is angry at Rashi because he knows the truth, or he simply just glared at her for her insensitive nature. I am hoping Ahem was called to School for the result, where he was told the truth of what happened and that is why he looks at Rashi with angry expressions. So based on that I wrote this. Hope you guys like it.

Part 2

Ahem walked into his office and sat at his desk. He knew he just snapped at his PA for no reason at all, but he hadn't been thinking straight since the day before when he picked up Gopi and Rashi from school and found out that Gopi not only put a wrong answer down for a question he had thought her over and over, but she didn't even finish the exam. Where had he gone wrong? He had thought she was doing so well, then why did it take her so long that she ran out of time? How can she not answer all question in two and half hour allocated for the test.

He ran his hands over his face, he just couldn't understand and all the questions are making him restless. And on top of that he felt remorse for yelling at her and insulting her also. He doesn't even know if she really failed, he based his conclusion on the fact that she got that one question wrong. He hadn't even asked her about the verbal exams. Had he put too much pressure on her to pass at 100%? Is that why she was so stressed and in her rush she might have had second-guessed herself? He frowned remembering the moment before her exam. He had felt bad for not wishing her before leaving the house, he had seen the disappointment on her face when he didn't say anything to her; he had been unable to concentrate on his meeting and decided to reschedule the meeting for later in the week. He had then driven himself to school. The first thing he saw when he got to class was Gopi praying in front of her Kanaji, but what had surprised him was the fact that she prayed for him first. How can one person be so giving? When she noticed him, her face had lit up like a Christmas tree. When he asked her question she got it right, but she second-guessed and changed her answer.

Ahem leaned his head back in the chair and closed his eyes. He immediately had picture of Gopi from the night before. After making the announcement to his mom he had left for the office. When he returned he had seen her lost and not paying attention to anything, and at that moment he had started felling bad for yelling at her and for insulting her. He is unable to control his temper around her for some reason, but he just can't help himself. She has so much potential, yet most of the time she is so timid and hesitant it irritates him, but in the past ten days she had been more comfortable around him, and was quick to answer when he asked her something. For the first time he had hopes for future, and in one moment all his dreams were shattered, and in that moment he had been unable think of any thing else.

He leaned forward when his phone rang. He picked up the phone and was surprised to hear Gopi's school principal calling him to let him know Gopi's results were in, and he needed to stop by the school to pick them up. He told the Principal he would stop by on his way home that evening. He hung up the phone, and thought, he will soon know how she did in the exam.

Later that day, he left office early, he had been unable to concentrate on work, and so he packed up and left since he had no meeting schedule for late in the afternoon.

He walked into the principal's office with some trepidation, he didn't know what to expect, and if Gopi failed, he will also have failed. Would he be able to look the principal in the eye after this disaster?

The principal welcomed him with a smile and he saw this as a positive sign. "Mr. Modi, welcome. Please have a seat, Gopi's examiner should be arriving soon." No sooner had the principal finished saying this, Gopi's exam teacher walked in. He greeted Ahem and took a seat beside him.

Ahem didn't want to wait, and got straight to the point. "Sir did Gopi pass or fail the exam?" Both the principal and the teacher looked at him intently.

"Mr. Modi, I know you took this challenge to teach Gopi and have her pass the exams, and I commend you for this, it must have been a difficult task to teach an adult basic reading, writing and math. In fact I would be surprised if you didn't get impatient with her. What we think is easy, is very difficult for the adult who has never attended school. It is easy for us to say, how can she not know this? But we have to look it at from their point of view and put are beliefs aside."

Ahem didn't know why the principal was telling him this. Does this mean Gopi failed? "Sir, when I said to you that I would teach Gopi and make her capable enough to take this test in ten days, but I am not sure I was able to do this, I feel as though I may have failed you." Both the teacher and the principal looked at him in surprise.

Half-hour later, Ahem sat back in his chair stunned. He felt relieved and weighed down by guilt at the same time. When will he learn to question his wife in proper manner? She hadn't failed him, she did everything he expected of her, and in return what did he give her? Nothing, but his temper and insults, he needed to go home and inform Gopi and the family that she had passed with flying colors.

Ahem rushed home and relieved to see everyone gathered at the mandir. He saw Gopi holding the puja thali tightly, he winced at the pain she must be feeling in her right hand. When she saw him looking at her, she immediately looked away nervously.

"Ahem dikra what happened?" He turned towards his kakji; she must have seen his blank face and the temper rising within him. Gopi walked towards him nervously, he could already see the tears shining in her eyes.

He kept watching her, went and stood in front of her, but she still didn't look up at him. "Gopi's test results are back." He could see Gopi's anxiety increase by the minute. He kept watching her, and no one else.

"Ahem dikra what is the result of the test?" He still couldn't bring himself to answer; he could feel everyone watching him anxiously.

Then he heard Rashi's voice. "Ahem jiju please tell us the result, did Gopi not pass the exam?" He could hear the excitement in her voice at prospect of Gopi failing, and that one sentence confirmed everything the examiner and the principal told him. Both he and his mom glared at Rashi. He made himself calm down and turned towards Rashi. He made sure nothing of what he was thinking showed on his face.

"Tell me something Rashi, you went to school then college right?" When she nodded her head he continued. "Then tell me Rashi how did you prepare for your exams?" He waited for her to answer.

Rashi frowned, what's happened with Ahem jiju, why is he asking me this? May be he wants to prove a point to Gopi gawar, after he did back her up the day before when kagdi was trying to blame her. "Woh jiju, I started my preparations early on, sometimes I would stay up late and get up in the early to get ready for my exams." She glanced at Gopi. "You remember Gopi, how you used to get up in the middle on the night to make tea for me to keep me awake?" Ahem also glanced at Gopi, her tears hadn't stopped, but she slowly nodded her head to Rashi.

Ahem turned back towards Rashi. "So how did you feel if your paper didn't go well for some reason?" Rashi did not realize she was slowly falling into a trap and answered without thinking. "I felt really bad, mummy would scold me and I couldn't stop crying, but Gopi always made me feel better by making my favorite dish or doing something nice for me." Rashi suddenly realized that Ahem jiju was asking her too many questions, and she still didn't know why.

She glanced towards Ahem and gasped at the way he was glaring at her. Then why didn't you think how Gopi would feel if she failed the test Rashi? Can you tell me why you distracted Gopi during her verbal examination to the point where the teacher had to ask you to leave the room until Gopi was finished? Can you tell me why you wasted 15 minutes to pray, when you don't even bother to pray for five minutes at home? Can you tell me why you kept stalling by breaking the pencil and then sharpening it for a long time? Can you tell me why you didn't hurry when Gopi kept asking you to hurry, and can you tell me why you left her in the middle of the exam to go to the washroom and didn't return until the time was almost over?" He felt his mom turn to him in shock then glare at Rashi. Everyone else was left stunned with this revelation.

"Rashi! Did you hear what Ahem is asking you, now why are you standing there all innocent, why don't you answer him?" Koki said in her loudest voice.

Rashi jumped and started speaking nervously. "Woh, jiju…Kakiji, I didn't mean to leave Gopi but I got locked in the bathroom, I couldn't get out until one of the teacher heard me and got me out. I even told this to Gopi when I returned." She moved to Gopi. "Tell them please Gopi." Gopi looked at her maji nervously, and opened her mouth, but Koki put up her hand to stop her. "Just one minute Gopi vahu. Rashi, and you didn't think this was important for us to know yesterday when Ahem was scolding Gopi for not finishing the exam? In fact you told us you wrote what ever Gopi told you only, but why did you leave out your part in this?" Rashi couldn't answer her. Even Hetal and Jigar were giving her questioning looks.

Koki kept glaring at her, pulled her pallu and spoke with controlled temper. "I will deal with you later." She turned towards Ahem with worry. "Ahem, did Gopi pass the exam, even with the unanswered questions."

Ahem looked at Gopi, but she refused to look at him. "Yes mom she passed the exam. She passed the verbal exam with 100% and on the written exam she only got one wrong and the missed questions only, so she still managed to pass with good percentage. Everyone turned towards Gopi to congratulate her. His mom caressed Gopi's head. "I knew my Gopi vahu would make me proud." Ahem waited for Gopi to smile and look at him, but she just looked at his mom and the family and gave them all a small smile. He expected her to be happy at the news of her passing, but she continued to look sad. He watched her hands shake and tears in her eyes, his mom also notice. "Gopi vahu, what's wrong now? You should be happy, you passed your test." His mom turned towards him. "Ahem, you and Gopi vahu do the aarti." Ahem moved towards Gopi, they all turned to go in the mandir. Gopi waited for him, when he moved next to her, she moved slightly to create distance between them. He took the aarti thali from her hand. "I will take this, your hand must be paining you." She didn't respond just silently handed the thali to him and put her hand next to his.

Later that night Ahem waited for Gopi to come to the room. After the aarti everyone celebrated with big dinner and sweets. Gopi had remained quiet and thoughtful thru dinner. He still couldn't figure out why she remained sad. She finally walked in, placed the water jug on his bedside table and went to take her clothes out the closet. He waited for her to return and ask him if he wanted anything.

Gopi came out of the bathroom, and went straight to take her bedding out of the closet and proceeded to make her bed. Ahem was shocked because she wasn't herself at all, he had understood her state of mind the night before, and hadn't done anything about it, but he realized he should have consoled her the night before, instead of waiting until he got the test results. He got up from the bed and stood in front of her halting her movements. She glanced at him in surprise, but immediately looked away. "Gopi, what's wrong? Why are you not happy? You passed the test."

He waited for her to say something. She kept dropped the covers on the floor. "I am happy I passed the test, but I didn't pass with 100% like you wanted me to. I am sorry I wasn't able to meet your expectations of me. I am not a reason for anyone's happiness."

Ahem inhaled sharply, he had hurt her deeply with his harsh words. "Gopi, I am the one who should be sorry, not you. I should have asked you what happened instead of jumping to conclusions. And who says you are not reason for any ones happiness. You are the reason for mom's happiness, you are the reason for this family's happiness, and most importantly you the reason for my happiness." When she finally looked up at him with tears in her eyes he smiled at her. He gently wiped the tears on her face; then slowly brought her in circle of his arms to hug her. It felt nice to hold her. They will sort everything else later. Right now he just wanted to hold his wife in his arms. He felt at peace finally.

ANother hopeful scenario, but yet again, doubtful that it will happen
Raashi will never ever be caught. She will never get hers
The CV's dont seem to believe in things like honestly and justice, or retribution

I loved this OS Shilpaben, as usual.
You are a wonderful author

Wonderful os ,if only that could happen today , it will really go a long way to makeup for the devastation they caused us for the past two days but somehow I doubt they would do this as they love rashi and evil ways too much. The cvs are just as bad as rashi cos they inflict soo much hurt on gopi fans and I seriously think that they then just sit back rub their hands together in glee watching us suffer .

Shilpa this was superbly told.
Hope he realises all this and hope he grants her a hug too. He was so ready to do all this until he picked her up after school then went belly up.
Well done!
