He so totally was going to take the cake and give it to her but everyone was so disappointed that he took the cake out of her hands that Dhawal burst in to break the awkwardness.
But Ahem was totally going to hold out the cake and then the moment was gone.

Yah he was disappointed when Dhawal took her away...but people in the family have seen him reject her so much, they don't want those scenes again, so Dhawal was trying to be nice to poor Gopi.

that scenes was a heart-broker for me too...when gopi was going to ahem to give him cake i was shouting like go ahem eat it but he didn't...he took the cake in his hand and i started shouting go ahem give it to gopi...but he was very shy and i can understand its all new for him...his feelings are new...but dhawal can't be said wrong...he was right in his place as nafisa di said...
