Modi house was gearing up for gopi's arrival. Kokila and aham left in the morning to get gopi home. After reaching home gopi went straight to the mandir to thank kanaji for saving her and importantly for making ahamji care for her. The only person sulking was rashi. She was angry because now gopi had gone ten steps higher in everyone's eyes. She could not tolerate it, still she was curious and asked: gopi how did you know the place where you kidnapped? Before kokila could open her mouth gopi turned towards her and said: maaji it was because I leant to study. Most important of all was the large picture which hung exactly over the bed. It was their marriage photo which aham had once broken. Gopi silently walked towards it. She was not sure whether it was a dream and real. She did not hear aham close the door and come to stand behind her. Slowly aham turned her towards him. He saw tears in her eyes. More than that he saw the pain there. He felt bad because he knew that he was the main cause for that pain. Her lifted her face towards him and said:

Gopi I know I have caused you so much pain. I have wronged you and insulted you. but all I can ask now is for you to forgive me. I know it will be difficult for you to do so immediately, still I can wait till you do so. I never realized your worth or your goodness while you were with me. When you went missing I realized how important you are to my life. I will never again bear to see tears in your eyes. I want you keep smiling and fill my life with happiness. I cannot bear the thought of losing you again. When I took you out of the box, I felt I had lost you. If something had happened to you, I would have never forgiven myself for it. You are my heart, my soul and my everything. I love you.

Gopi's head was swimming. Was this really happening. Did ahamji say that he loved her. she said: there is nothing to forgive you. it was fate which played with us. I m happy that you love me because I have been loving you from the moment we met. When I was locked in the box all I thought was that I m going to die and that I will never see you again. In the hospital it was your voice which forced me to battle death. I want nothing in the whole world except for your love and to be your wife.

Aham slowly bend and kissed her softly and her lips and said: my beautiful, innocent, darling wife, you belong to me till the end.

The end

(The crooks were caught. Kanaji's idol and placed back at the temple. Gopi and aham were given a reward. Kokila was happy. Rashi and urmila went mad and savita ben vacted her house out of Mumbai unable to bear kokila's taunts)
