I think if Gopi goes to school in school uniform, students will be more friendly. Or at least simple sarees. She will look like one among them anyway, and kids will not differentiate her. I think they are feeling jealous of her fancy colorful dressing (saree) as that girl was mentioning to Rashi.

I don't think it makes much difference if she wore a simple saree like her night saree or even the saree the teacher is wearing all are flouncy and floating around, like what people would wear in the seventies in the UK, people would wear flouncy stuff and swishing around in them, in layers of material, so to me even the night sarees are bright colours and look like christmas trees too.

I don't think she should trade in the saree for a school uniform either she will look like some retarded person and would stick out like a sore thumb, at least now, when people see her at the school they mistake her for a teacher, if she is in a school uniform picture it, people with think she is definitely retarded.

I think she should look for an adult school where she can be taught amongst people her own age or older, where all will be in adult clothes, including sarees, and she won't have this problem...it doesn't mean she won't be bullied, I think Gopi has that personality that makes her prone to bullying as she is too innocent and resorts to tears easily, making her an easy target.
