This is a One short story, with no continuation...it's something I've dreamt up in the last few minutes and want to share it with everyone...in this our hour of hopelessness with the CV's and the Aham character.

OK it's a Saturday afternoon in London, England an addicted fan of the serial saath nibhana saathiya dreams up an idea of visiting a witch in India to resolve once and for all the problems in the serial, as she is tired of the merry go round her favourite serial is in, she comes on the forum and starts a call to action from other viewers of this serial, she gathers fans from across the world, Canada, US, Germany, France, Switzerland, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan India and the UK to an Annual General Meeting...LOL, an we table a motion which was carried. Of we go, into the fantasy world of Saath Nibhana Saathiya 1..2...3, we all clicked our fingers and we were in Rajpal Nagar outside Kinjal's Banyan shop, Dhaval greeted us Jai Shree Krishna with folded hands, welcome welcome, foreigners from far and wide, please come visit my shop, Urmila is sitting in the shop too keeping a close watch on the money to see if she can siphon off some when Dhaval isn't looking, she twists her mouth and nose to the left and makes an annoyed sound, we all look at her, and say Urmi Aunti we have come to see you, please can you grant us an audience and take us to your beautiful favela for a half cup of tea and soft biscuit...Urmi Auntie says heh, off course please come, please come, we follow her up to her house, she sends Kinjal on an errand, go to the market and buy some food for dinner, pushes her out the door and shuts the door in her face, Kinjal says freedom from this hell hole I'm off for a few hours and goes.

Urmila says, what can I do for you, we tell her, we heard of renowned intelligence in Kalakaries, and your reputation precedes you please Auntie help us, we are tired with how Aham is behaving cannot you not deal with him once and for all, you have been working on Gopi and Kokila all this time and it seems Gopi perseveres whatever disgrace or injury and Kokila loves her like a daughter so this tactic will not work, can you not do something to Aham so Gopi can be happy and you will also be happy Auntie as Rashi will be the only daughter in-law Modi (Gopi will be a widow with only a mother's love) with her husband running things in the Modi Industries and Jigar will be the only son left to the Modi's you will be rolling in money Auntie...we have learnt lots of flattery techniques living in the real world amongst serpents.

Her eyes light up, and she says I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity, she rushes to her wardrobe and takes out a small miniature effigy of Aham Parag Modi...made from soft cushion materials and shows it to us, this, you can do anything to it and it will happen to real Aham...wow Auntie you have outdone yourself this time, you are really a Tees Maar Khan, thank you Auntie don't worry we have plans for this Aham and you won't be seeing him again, Urmila puts her hands together and gushes marvellous, I will phone Rashi to keep me informed of all developments.

We take the effigy and go to the country side with it, so onlookers don't notice what our group was doing, we take a pin each and proceed to stab the effigy, as we put a pin in we all say words why we are doing it...I start "this is for making Gopi feel useless and unloved", another person said "this is for tearing down her self esteem" "this is for not supporting and protecting her" "this is for shaming her in public" "this is for making her sleep on the floor" "this is for using her and discarding her" "this is for not having the balls to marry your true love Anita" "this is for being so egotistical" and it went on and on until everyone had put a pin into Aham. One of the Saathiya voiced something, Eli said good he looks like the porcupine he is...and the effigy with all the pins sticking out of every which place that you couldn't see the cushion material underneath. Right no-one should ever find this effigy, someone voiced lets bury it, good idea, we dug a hole and placed it inside and all started burying it...work done shall we all go home and see what the consequences of todays work on the TV, we all agreed it was time to go home, back to our lives...1...2...3 we clicked our fingers and we were all back to our various places at home and it was just in time for the show and we all tuned in and saw the following...

We saw ourselves on the TV outside the banyan shop speaking to the cast of the show, Nafisa thought crap...I'm looking fat, I swear I don't look as big as that in real life, stood in-front of the mirror and said yah it's the camera adding 10 pounds...proceeded back to the TV to watch the rest, watched it all play out, then camera switched to Aham at a Modi construction site, he received a call and excused himself and wandered off into the distance out of sight so involved in his phone call, he went behind a clearing and knew something was not right pins seemed to be stabbed into him, he had pins and needles every where he dropped his phone and rolled down on the floor in pain, like he had never felt before, meanwhile a truck carrying heavy soil reversed to the place and the trailer of the truck lifted up and lumped all the soil on top of the stubborn, pompous jerk Aham and he died finished no more Aham Parag Modi.

Meanwhile 27 years before Kokila had given birth to twins, Aham and Jignesh, unfortunately for the Modi's one baby was stolen by the mid-wife, whilst Kokila was not in her senses after the birth, that baby was Jignesh. Jignesh had watched Aham Modi, and wondered how come their likeness, and found out on his mother's deathbed she confessed she stole him from the Modi's, this death was two days before (Aham's death), he did the last rights on his mother, he didn't blame her too much he loved her and she him, he understood what loneliness could be like and the Modi's had two babies and his mother had done good by him by giving him a good education, and he had followed the same business degree pathway like Aham Modi. He spent a day mourning after his mother's death and headed to the Modi's, on the way he discovered Aham's death and he was unhappy that he had not known his twin brother in life and was hesitant how to proceed further at the Modi's so he turned up there and the door opened for him and their greeted him as if they would Aham and he was stunned that family members even could not tell them apart (all assumed the body they were given was an imposter and the real Aham had come home), he proceeded into Aham's life without telling them, he met Aham's cute childlike bride, who was so shy and innocent and seemed to dote on him, she made to sleep on the floor, and Jignesh couldn't allow that and for a moment thought he had been found out and he insisted she take the bed and he would sleep on the floor, but she said she couldn't sleep on his bed and also slept on the floor, at midnight, Jignesh carried Gopi onto the bed and put her on the right side and he lay on the left making lots of space in between them so she doesn't feel over crowded by his muscles, he loved the gym 😉, morning came he went downstairs and sort out his mother, Kokila, as he was very close to his mother he thought it is right to speak to her and inform her that he was not Aham but Jignesh, he told Kokila, Kokila looked at him and asked him some questions and came to hug him, she said she had always known she had two sons but Parag and the rest of the family insisted she had only one son, and she was happy though Aham had gone she had Jignesh...the kinder, rational/reasonable one of the twins now.

p.s.Urmila meanwhile received all the news from Rashi who revealed the latest developments with Jignesh...she was so shocked that Kokila had bested her yet again and that she still had another son older than Jigar, she collapsed and had a stroke...not to talk again and material things ceased to have meaning for her. Rashi with no reinforcements from Urmila, quit Kalakaries for good.
