This is my first attempt at an O.S so please feel free to be very critical. It's about what i would like to see happen to Gopi and Ahem.
Ahem and Gopi
Back story: A big plan by the hands of Urmila and Rashi has just gone wrong and has been exposed in front of the whole family including Dhawal, Jitu etc etc. Everything that has happned in the months gone by has come out in the open. Things between Ahem and Gopi are better than before, he talks to her better, she now sleeps on the bed, she no longer has to cover her hair or face, but they still behave the same way with each other. Jigar and Rashi are not looking so good. Nobody talks to her properly or looks at her properly. Rashi was really close to being thrown out, which she would have if it had not been for Baa, who begged everyone to give her another chance. Rashi's phone has been confiscated, she hasn't talked to her mum since things came out, or seen her face to face.
Three weeks later...
A national holiday is coming up this week in india where there is a three day weekend. Usally Ahem goes to work but Kokila has something else in mind. Kokila calls Gopi into her room. "Gopi you know its a holiday this coming weekend, i have planned for you and Ahem to go away for a couple of days" (Gopi looking wide eyed and nervous) "But Maaji how can we go Ahemji won't like it" "You don't worry about Ahem, he's my son i can handle him, I called you here so you can start to pack, make sure you pack properly." " Yes Maaji." Gopi goes to pack. When Ahem comes home Kokila calls him into her room and tell him about the trip. "But mom how can i go, i have work you know how important work is for me." "Yes i know son, but having rest is also important, there is a reason why the goverment has kept these kind of holidays, its so workaholics like you have some time of to get some rest and refresh your mind." "O.K, But Mom why do i have to take Gopi, why can't you come with me you also do of housework so you also need rest and relaxation". "Ahem don't be silly how can i go, it's not my age to do all this, take Gopi she will enjoy it more especially because you're there." "Okay, Mom whatever you say."
It is raining heavily on the way to the Hotel, Ahem and Gopi are in the car having a conversation about her childhood. " Gopi tell me one thing, why didn't you go to school, if Rashi was allowed to go school then why didn't you?" "Mami didn't let me go, Mama wanted me to go and have an education but Mami kept saying there's no money for me to go school, plus i had to stay home to do the housework." " Even as a child you would do the housework." "Yes because there was no one else there to do it." "What about your Mami?" All of a sudden the car stops working, Ahem tries to call someone but there's no phone signal. "Great, that's all i need, will you able to walk to the hotel it's not far from here, it's only five minutes away." "Okay Ahemji i'll try." They both get out and start running, Gopi is a little behind so Ahem grabs her hand and they both start to run together. They reach the Hotel safely. Both of them are wet because of the rain, of course Ahem can't take his eyes of Gopi, her hair has become curled and sticking to her face. Gopi is blushing away, Ahem can't help but smile at her shyness. Later they're both resting in the bedroom after getting changed. The conversation goes back to the earlier one. "Do you want to learn to read and write?" "What's the point now, im too busy with housework to go out to school." "What if i was to bring someone to the house to teach you." "You would do that for me" "Don't get to happy, i'm doing this for myself as well as you, nobody wants an uneducated wife." "Than ku Ahemji." "It's thank you not than ku, one more thing, i think its time you took the ji out of my name, from now on call me Ahem just Ahem." "Ji Ahemji...Sorry Ahem."
After having the evening meal, they're both getting ready for bed, Gopi is closing the curtains in the room, when all of a sudden there is a lightning and thunder sounds coming from outside. Gopi screams and holds on to what is close to her. Thankfully what she is holding is Ahem, Gopi is breathing heavily scared and nervous, not only beacuse of the rain but because she has just realised what she has done. Gopi tries to move but can't, she's frozen in place. Ahem is also too shocked to move. Gopi is leaning against Ahem's chest and can hear his hearbeat which is beating very fast. Bravly she ask's "Ahem why is your heart beating so fast, are you also afriad of the thunder?" "What, don't be silly why should i be scared of a little rain." Gopi start's laughing. "Oh i see, you're teasing me." "Are you going to let me go" "Oh, Um, sorry." They get in to bed, Ahem is sleeping on his back as always. "You shouldn't Sleep on your back it makes your sinus worse." "Oh really, are you sure you just don't want me to sleep on my side so you can see me properly all night." They carry on talking, midly flirting with each other. Ahem is not used to sleeping on his side so he start's to feel uncomfortable and moves about. In doing so his hands find Gopi's. Without realising what he' doing, he holds her hand. And that's how they stay all night, holding each other's hands while sleeping.
Next few day's they have fun, the weather gets better so they go out, see some sights, enjoy each other's company. But nothnig progresses in THAT department. Ahem's car is fixed and sent to the hotel, they're now on their way home. "It's almost 18 months since we got married so how you have not had a birthday yet? When is your birthday?" "What can i say Ahem, Mami never allowed Mama to celebrate my birthday since i moved in with them. When my parents were alive i had little parties, and my mum would make me favourite sweets. I forgot when my birthday is, all i know is i'm a couple of months younger than Rashi Bhen." "So you don't know when your birthday is?" "No Mama will know. Why do you ask?" "That's for me to know and you to find out."
