So Gopi is scared out of her wits!

She has visually seeked help from Ahem by looking at him. He has noticed her too.

At some point soon Gopi will crack - either scream or hide in fear.

When he eventually finds out, will Ahem help Gopi overcome this fear?

I think he'll think she has lost it, and will try to convince his mum to have her committed to a mental institution.

I think that's Urmila and Rashi's plan: to either have her committed or get her feeling so afraid in that house that she leaves it

I can remember five times.

1) He saved Gopi from the fire at Baa's nudging

2) Speaking up for Gopi when Kinjal was trying to put her down in the early days of marriage

3) Bandaging her hand

4) Offering to apply ointment during the thief incident

5) Kinjal pregnancy fiasco . Spoke up in Gopi's defence

Let's give the guy a break!

It's almost nearing a year being together, he is becoming dependent on Gopi unknowingly. Koki will tell him to take care of her as Gopi is his responsibility.

He has already scored brownie points for these. So there is belief that he just may come to her rescue.

I would play it by the ear. Ahem's character is difficult to fathom because he blows hot & cold all the time
