It's my first time visiting the area, Swasthi it's like an island all by itself, with water all around, but it's extremely clean with modern glass buildings and concrete, I never thought I would be one for build up areas but they did it really well. Also the shops they have in the underground shopping mall are all designer shops. Also what really got me inspired was the the fact all the people there, I mean everyone was dressed really nice, I mean designer shoes, clothes and also they looked really like they spent a lot of time working out etc...it seemed almost like somewhere else, not like the UK.

I mean Westfield in Shepards Bush has the designer shops, Bond Street etc but the people that frequent those shopping areas dress really casual like jeans etc, but with Canary Wharf everyone was dressed to the nines.

Also I think it might be better then Manhattan as the buildings are newer and it doesn't smell bad like new york.

Canary Wharf is my local shopping place. It is awe inspiring. When I have family and friends coming over I take them there. There are loads of restuarants, bars and great sights. On a sunny day after woork if you go there is is packed with suits, Go there one afternoon for a drink with friends. It is just crazy.
Another place opening soon is Westfield in Stratford.

Yes we going to have a second Westfield in East London no need to travel to West London now. It's going to get confusing, I didn't they call it Eastfield, as the other one it makes sense Westfield as it's in "West" London (like playing field for West Londoners) but for East Londoners why are they calling it Westfield again?

You know I think it's the first time they have repeated a name for a shopping complex in the same country, it's silly.

I know what you mean but Westfield is a group that has shopping centres in the US, UK, New Zealand and Australia. Google westfield and you can find out more about them.
