i was watching Gulaal today and came up with this idea of ff, i don't know how it will turn out throughout the whole story but do enjoy reading it. and do comment 😉
Part 1
Gopi was a woman who never accepted defeat. Not even against her own cousin Rashi and Aunt Urmi. One day her brother in law Sushant has murdered his brother meaning her husband. He had shot her and thrown him in the river while he was alive. He did not know someone was looking behind him. But he had gave up and told her everything and she forgave him and they became one and fought together in any trouble that had occurred. Before Gopi was going to marry, her marriage had been fixed to a man. A man who turns into a women at night and becomes a goddess and prays in a temple. She found out and rejected the alliance.
One major thing had happened. He elder brother in law had sentenced to jail due to his crime. But this man/ goddess named Durgesh had come to know everything about her life. Sushant her brother in law had found out, took the gun and was about to leave but she stops him, and they go together. They reach to a place which was unknown to them. A place behind the temple where Durgesh prays after he becomes a woman. She goes up to him and tries to make a deal with him but he backfires. But she interrupts and says ' look at yourself 1st then tell me what I am, you already have ruined your manhood in this daily goddess thing, look at yourself, I don't need your clarifications and are you even a man, no such person will call you a man will they ' He shouts, ' so your telling me what is right what is wrong, and who have you brought with you, a man who is already your enemy, Vaidya come in and speak will you'
'you, your the same man who had killed Jai and threw him in the river'.
'I already knows this, from the beginning, I also know what kind of man he is'
They both stood still, but she interferes again ' you come in our family problem again, I will not spare you'
'spare, and me, you are joking, are u even a woman, what kind of relationship do you have with this sushant, why do you always attached to him, something wrong with this brother in law sister in law relationship, or is it, you cannot be able to fulfill a responsibility of a wife can you.
Gopi smacks him straight away and, says ' warning you and I will not spare you at all'
Both leave the spot and goes home. After a fortune, Rashi had something on her mind. She had to bring this Gopi face to face with Aehem Modi. But how she thought. Rashi had already been rejected by koki as she wasn't suitable for her son, but as she sees Gopi she thinks about it. Gopi was unpar, etc but she was a tough girl. A girl who handles everything in her tight clenched fist. Everything was under her paw. Nothing had defeated her at all except that she could not read or write. She could speak english but she doesn't have any experience of speaking it with everyone.
Rashi thought of a brilliant plan, she thought of why not go to the temple on thursdays as the Modi house always goes there every week on a thursday. She made the deal. She told Gopi and Urmi they would leave for temple on thursday exact 1pm sharp. But Gopi didn't want to leave at all. She was no longer living in her in law place as they told her to marry her brother in law or leave the house, so she left the house as she did not want to marry a criminal.
Sushant never had a sister and accepted Gopi as his elder sister. He had started to look for an alliance for her as she wasn't ever happy with her married life as she never been in love with Jai at all. She had been forced by Urmi to marry him for the family stake. Gopi cried bitterly on wednesday night as she was hurt of what she had done. Married a guy whom she never been able to live with or love. A guy whom never spent a moment with his family. A guy who thought about himself. Sushant comforted her, and told her there will be a gem out there who will take care of you, forget all this and move on.
Thursday had arrived, The modi family was already there praying with everyone else. Rashi, urmi, Gopi and sushant comes upstairs. Sushant has a bandooq (gun) carrying with him all the time. They stood behind and prayed. Gopi went forward, and stood beside a guy who was tall, fair, handsome, and fit. That was none other than a man called Aehem Modi. After she gave the offering to the priest, she went backwards and trips over, she falls down but he comes for the rescue. They both stood there looking into each others eye, Everyone around them looking at them in a shocked face. Gopi got irritated and looked down. They both stood up perfectly and said sorry. They both introduced themselves and Gopi thanked him.
Sushant greeted the Modi Family and told them this was Gopi. Koki was happy too see her, and said: let them come to know each other first then we will fix the marriage, it will take some time for sure. Sushant says ok, and tells Gopi to take Aehem downstairs and both of you get to know each other.
