can sum1 plz explain why nd wat ahem was tryin to do by puttin his head high while gopi was puttin d tilak..didnt he knew he had to get it done anyways so wat was tht all abt??????????????????

i had two thoughts or possible reasons why he was avoiding her touch. One, because he wanted to clearly show his displeasure to the family members for making him go through this charade and not agreeing peaceably to a separation of him and Gopi, second reason is because his avoiding her touch as it makes him feel things that he shouldn't feel for a girl he wants to be separated and divorced from (for the romantics in us, but i'm more likely to believe this is the true reason as eventually he will change and fall in love with Gopi right?), particularly when Aham conceded and allowed Gopi to tilak him the eyelock spoke volumes her eyes pleading with him please relent and accept me as your wife and his were saying are you genuine do you care for me really (that means you are not just pretending for my money).

do u remember his and anita encounter where he confessed that he will going to marry someone else... at that time he stopped her...though he was in love with her...

this man has high level of patience...

anyway over here...

he like questioning... but his extreme ego and stubborn nature never allowed him to understand her...

amnd thanks to his high level patience meter.. he can't get attract to her...

so i can say... he is bhishm pitamaha of telly land... but i hope our menka gopi will soon turn him tooo vishwamitr and bring break no ultimate end to his penance

@Bold, absolutely Sam, Aham is frustrating the way he goes about things, he wants to be a type of person that has been brought up well, doing all the rituals, giving time to the family, respecting decisions made by the family, but he has some rebellion in him, he will give in to the code of conduct required of him, but he will do it reluctantly and wants everyone to know his doing it reluctantly (that is called immaturity right, when you know your duty, but want everyone know you hate doing it). At the time with Anita, the family would not accept that girl, though he loved her he knew she would bring him problems in the long run with family against the decision being with Anita (lots of arguments, he gave in to have peace, sacrificing his love). So he set out to prove Gopi's unsuitability to the family and him, by going through the marriage and just watching to see how she would play out in the family. He does have patience, he never will relent, his pride is too strong to give in and say i can be happy with her, he needs to be shook up by other people admiring her, by other people I mean him separating from her and she getting another marriage proposal from someone else, or he seeing her chatting naturally (with no fear) to another guy.
