Thank you Diya, Eesha, Simran, Tammie, Suk, Eva, Shelly, Jake, Radhika and Sara! I showed this thread to my husband and he is quite touched and thanks you all!
We have postponed our celebrations by 10 days! Last week was hectic at work. Next week is Chinese New Year and in Singapore are new projects are started this time. We both found that two (each) of our projects have been approved and we had to help the admin finish all the official paperwork (my eyes are crossed editing word and excel files with wierd language!). Our postdocs and students had their annual appraisal on 24th and 25th and we had to sit through the appraisal. So we kind of forgot the anniversary! We remembered only when our parents wished us in the morning! So we decided to celebrate during the new year weekend.@Diya! beautiful post! I dont wear/buy jewels and both of us are not into presents much! generally he cooks for me on the day and the next I do something that I hate and he loves like treating him at a chinese restaurant or going for some trekking! We will be doing all this next weekend.
