Hi

I am a newbie. Not just for this forum but for any serial. I mean, this is the first serial I am following, that too in the last few weeks only. BTW, I am old enough to be exposed to serials but somehow that bug never caught me.

I stumbled upon this site, when looking for some thing for my in-laws on a Tamil serial. When browsing, I found Md. Nizam quite handsome and Giaa smile wonderful. So just decided to follow this serial online through your forum. I also like the dresses and jewels. I guess I have the general idea of the story correct. But, if I sound naive pardon me.

My first opinion is that I feel bad for Nizam. For such a handsome guy with a good voice, his on-screen character is lousy. I can accept the fact that he cannot say anything against his mother - he is emotionally stunted and he cant help it. But, dumping the guilt on a helpless person is not good for anybody. He made the decision to marry and he sticks with it. Period. I initially thought that his character is modeled on Darcy but no. Darcy was arrogant and proud but never hurt anybody intentionally leave alone a helpless person. Darcy would have come to terms with his life and simply arranged for a home tutor for his illiterate wife and made sure that nobody abuses her and she is respected. Aham is a meanie. Goodness! what a mess the lead characters are. The heroine is a life-long victim of domestic abuse and has no confidence or self-respect. The hero is a emotionally stunted Mamma's boy who is a bully. First things first, he needs a sound whack on his head. Then he should be told that, he cannot act like a bully and be respected as an adult. What are the other people in the family doing? By the way, why the episodes move so slow? why after every sentence we have to wait for the reactions of all and sundry? Do all serials work this way?

Actually, I love this forum more than the serial. It is a great place to pick on the brains of such a variety of people.
