My birthday is actually on the 30th...😳 so it begins in the morning. However, my daughter came home for the night and son was here so we all went out for a sushi dinner. It was yummy and we had a great time laughing and talking. I love getting together with my kids. They are so fun.

The best thing however, is that I opened my gift from my mother. She gave me her pearls from when she was in college - I bawled like a baby. She also gave me a broach that is about 100 years old that belonged to a great-great aunt. I was a weepy mess for quite some time. I am very nostalgic and love old things that belonged to my ancestors. They are prized possessions!

I've catched a cold yaar.. That stupid AC in the office works full blast only in winter!!! We are all sick at work.. I had to take sleeping pills to finally sleep last night.. I thought I was dying..lol.. But apart from that everything is cool.. I went to bed early last night so woke up early today.. I've got 30 minutes before I have to start getting ready for work.. Oh and it's snowing!!! Yay!!!
