Okk Guys... Chapter 9 is done. Hope you all will enjoy it...

Chapter 9

Man might want to go to God's place at anytime. But only He decides whether to invite you and when to invite you and you can never Gate-Crash His party. His plans are absolute. That's when we say "Muddai Laakh Bura chaahe to kya hota hai, wahi hota hai jo manjoore Khuda hota hai" (even if people speak ill of you and wish for bad things to happen to you, only that will happen which the God has written in your fate)

Malini – Atri Di, you promised… so listen to my plan. Why don't you design for people I know as well... That way you can start your own small business

Gayatri – Malini… you know dear… I don't want to go back to my previous life… so if I design… I will be in constant touch with different people… I am not yet ready to face the world

Malini(in a thoughtful tone) – Hmmmm Di… you are right… let me see if there is a way… My friends know I am the dumbest person when it comes to creativity… so I can't pass it on as my work…

Gayatri is happy that Malini won't get a solution and will forget about this idea.

But this was Malini, whose brain was like a trap for good ideas and sieve for bad ones. Her face starts to glow again and Gayatri sighs.

Malini – Di… I got an answer to our problems. Why don't we pass it on in maa's name? I'll say Mother designed them and we can start a business. You can be a hidden partner, whose details everyone needn't know. Mother will cover for you and I'll take over spreading the word.

Gayatri – But how will I design and make garments for people whose measurement is also not with me.

If Malini gets an idea, it is very hard to make her forget it, unless you have a very solid argument and this vein wouldn't have worked on her, even if she were half asleep… and here she was full awake…

Malini – Di, you can teach me to take measurements or better still they will give me their own measurements. I will create that form which will legally bind them, so they don't play pranks later on. Before starting the actual work, we will show them what we plan for them, so they can give their consent for it. I'll keep everything legally bound. I am not learning Business law for fun Di. Trust me, even if you don't become queen of the world, you'll surely have your own domain.

Gayatri – But Malini, these days people wear only western and I make chudidaars for you. Don't you think that this would be a bad idea.

Malini – Di. Don't worry so much. Its them who are approaching us, not the other way round. We won't buy anything till they put their signature on both the measurement form and agreement form. If they don't like something, well and fine. We don't have to go forward. It would just be our hobby Di. No compulsions on us. You have already made enough clothes for me to last a couple of years. Even if I wear them less and throw them away sooner. I will still have a spare.

Gayatri thinks why not.

So started a venture, the Gayatri Creations, dedicated to the memory of Mamata and Suraj Kaka's eldest daughter and to the talent of this new Gayatri. Not a single design was repeated in same color. Either of the 2 were different and that was the deal the customer had to agree to before getting any work done.

Suraj Kaka and Mamata were very happy that their kids were doing something that would eventually make Gayatri stand on her own two feet and face the world. Though Mamata had agreed to be the name of the designer and talk to people too, but she knew her Gayatri well, to know that she come out of her cocoon like a dazzling butterfly.

While Malini was bringing purpose to Gayatri's life Ahem was also proceeding in his quest. Tailing of Kinjal revealed quite some secrets. Kinjal's friendship and relationship with Umang was revealed to Ahem. He caught them red-handed while they were meeting in a caf, where he had gone to meet a client.

If we fear Lord Shiv in one his rages, we will fear Ahem too. Ahem was in one of his blackest moods when he came back home. He couldn't possibly have confronted Kinjal-Umang in the cafe. So he waited for Kinjal in her room along with his mother. In the meanwhile, he told what he found out to Koki.

Ahem – Maa, I was very much wrong in what I did to Gopi. That poor girl was never to blame. I found out who that guy was who claimed himself to be Gopi's lover.

Koki – Who was it Ahem Dikhra?

Ahem - Did you ever meet Anita's brother Maa?

Koki – Hey Raam! That girl still has guts to ruin my family's happiness. I won't leave her in peace at all.

Ahem – Maa, jab apna hi khoon paani ho to doosron se kya naaraz hona (Maa, when our own blood is bad, how can we blame others)

Koki(Confused) – Kya matlab Ahem?

Ahem – Maa, the person who actually made the hole in our house, and let the thieves in, to rob our family's happiness is one of our own. My own little sister, whom I have always adored.

Koki – what are you saying Ahem? But how does she know them?

Ahem – Maa, Anita had befriended Kinjal and Kinjal has met Anita several times at her home. I was not seeing her by the time Kinjal met Umang.

Koki – Hey bhagwaan. We should have told her clearly, why you weren't seeing Anita anymore.

Ahem – Maa, that's not the point. If Umang would have been a nice person, not like his sister, maybe I wouldn't be so against them. Though I would have cautioned Kinjal about it, but I wouldn't have been this mad. But they are playing with someone like Gopi, who never even thought evil for anyone.

Koki – I don't know Dikhra. I am not at all comfortable with this situation.

Ahem (frustrated and agitated, raking his fingers in his hair) – I know what Umang is trying to achieve by becoming Kinjal's boyfriend. He wants revenge for his sister. But he chose a very wrong person to mess with. He is messing with Modis. He won't stand a chance. Maa, don't worry about Umang. But we will have to make Kinjal understand

Koki – Haan Dikhra, we will both talk to her.

Just then they hear the main door opening and Kinjal's dancing steps on the stairs.

Kinjal – Maa, Bhai. Were you waiting for me? What happened? Is something wrong?

Koki – Kinjal, tell me something very truthfully. Who was the guy with you in the cafe?

Kinjal – Who Maa? Which cafe? I haven't gone to cafe in more than a week. I was at my friends place.

Seeing that the we-trust-you-to-tell-us-the-truth track won't work Ahem takes direct approach.

Ahem – Kinjal, Why were you in the cafe with Umang?

Kinjal is shocked speechless and doesn't know how to reply.

Kinjal – Woh Ahem Bhai. As I said, I was meeting my friend. I was meeting Anita, but she was running late, so she sent her brother to keep me company. She says her brother can do anything for her.

Kinjal didn't think anything before blurting this lie. She meant to show that she had met Umang for the first time, but she fooled no one there. Ahem was beside himself with rage.

Ahem – Really?? Such a great brother he is. So, he can do anything for his sister.

Then suddenly it thundered or was it Ahem's rage.

Ahem - Even spoiling innocent lives.

Kinjal had forgotten that, she was the one who said Umang was Gopi's boyfriend, so she should have atleast seen him once and should have despised the brother-sister duo. She had put both her foot in her mouth. As is said "chor ke daadi me tinka" (thief will always carry a clue on himself)

Now Kinjal was scared. She should be too.

Ahem (still in his black mood) – Don't even think of lying Kinjal. More than 50% calls per day from your cellphone or to your cell phone are from a single number. I don't think I have to tell you the name, you should have guessed it by now. More than 30% are from his sister. So would you tell me truthfully what is going on? Don't let me tell you the truth and put you in a witness box. Own up to what you did.

Kinjal is now crying buckets and tells her brother and Maa what all she did and on whose directions she did these things

Koki – Kinjal, because of your one mistake, our happiness is lost to us now. Do you know why we rejected Anita?

Kinjal is shocked.

Kinjal – Maa, you never met her.

Koki – who said I haven't? The whole family met her except for you and Jigar. We had invited her over to dinner.

And Koki tells everything that happened that day and why Ahem had accepted Gopi, though she was shy and illiterate and lacking in self-confidence. Ahem had accepted because of her guilelessness.

Kinjal is devastated and laments as to what she had done. She asks for forgiveness from Ahem and Koki. Though Koki melts a little, she still punishes her, saying she has to reflect on what she did and no one will talk to her till she owns up to all her mistakes in front of everyone. I'll forgive you only when Gopi forgives you.

Ahem just leaves the room disgusted in his sister and devastated as to how he will search for his Gopi.

Kinjal (thinking) – ohh what have I done? Poor Bhabhi used to save me always and I caused her so much of trouble. How could I have prayed for her never to return home? Ohhh God… Please forgive me and send Bhabhi back home.

Kinjal repents and cuts her connection with both Umang and Anita. Though it breaks her heart to know her first love was such a cruel person, she realizes, he was always like that and she was at fault too.

It is a year since Gopi disappeared and ten months since Kinjal's truth came out. Kinjal's had repented for her behavior and asked for forgiveness from every member of the family. Baa was completely broken to know that one of her own grandchildren was the culprit. She hasn't spoken to Kinjal since. Hetal was more forgiving but was disappointed in her.

Seeing the condition of Kinjal after this escapade and seeing how much Gopi mattered to this family. Rashi started to think that it would be better not to throw stones in still water and tried to change her way of thinking too.

Since Kinjal had graduated that year, Modis were looking for marriage proposals for her

Precap : What will ahem do to the brother-sister Duo? Has Ahem given up his search? is there a chance for a small scale business women, who is not even in the business dealings, to meet her family?

I have only one word to describe your writing skills di "wow"
I loved each sentence you wrote.. I did no even blink until I finished the whole chapter..
Kinjal deserves to be punished more for what she did and please don't make Aham meet Gopi so soon.. I want gopi to be cinfident and independent when Aham finally gets a glimpse of her..*and I mean a glimpse* he can't find her so easily.. Oh and how about Aham having flashbacks of Gopi and her loving and caring nature?

Thanks a lot for liking it Aapi.... i really wanted to make Kinjal cry a lot. i didnt take a stick to rashi since in this FF, i didnt show her as too much evil, i showed her only as someone who wanted power, so i let her go lightly

I like your idea of Fbs... will put them in the next chapter... okkk, we can torture Ahem and Kinjal more.
