Chapter 17

Aham Modi is one best and successful businessman, because, the moment he has an inspiration or idea, he plans and executes it to perfection. His precise planning has being giving him success. Today, he had done it in his personal life. The moment he knew Urmila and Rashi were behind Gopi's kidnapping, he had planned their punishment. It was a something worse than going to prison; it was going back to hell.

Aham turned towards Lakshmanji and said: don't worry uncle, I have send for the punisher and here he is. On seeing the person both Urmila and Rashi's face was white as sheets. It was as if they had seen a ghost. Urmila ran towards Kokila and caught her hands and cried: bhabi muje bachavo? (Please save me) please call the police but don't do this to us.we will go with the police than this man. Rashi was rooted as a rock. Slowly Jithu Bahi came towards them. His appearance was changed. Instead of the soft look and drunken attitude he had a cruel smile in his eyes and lips. He caught hold of urmila's hand and said" why are you afraid of me. I m not a ghost. So you have been hiding here from me. I have search high and low for my loyal wife and my beautiful daughter. Why did you run away from me?"

So saying, he began to drag them both out of the house. Just then Parag came in between and pleaded with jithu bahi not to be hard on them as they have already been punished. Jithu Bhai looked into his eyes and said: please tell me one thing, after knowing about these women how are able to support them? You don't have the right. Because today I will tell you what these two did to me. Kokilaji, Aham beta listen to my version of the story. I married this woman on kokilaji's request. But she never loved me, but my money. I tried to teach her that love and family must come first, but she never listened. To make me her puppet she made me a drunkard. And this daughter of mine listened only to her mother. One day these two planned to ruin your family. I stumbled on their secret. Do you know what they did? They poisoned me, robbed me of my money and left me to die. It was god's grace that I m alive. I have been search for these two''''''''''''''. For nealy two years. From today they will suffer for their crimes. I will vent out all my frustrations on them. I promise you that these two will never trouble your family again.

Turing a deaf ear to their plea he dragged his wife Urmila and daughter Rashi out of the house. The whole Modi Mansion was silent. It was as if a cyclone had crossed their shore. Kokila was the first to come to her senses. She smiled at everyone and said thank god all the problems are solved. Now let us go for supper. Soon all were talking and laughing how the day's event has turned into. They had met each other with daggers in their eyes now they all have only love in them. Especially two pairs of eyes. They were secretly searching for the other. One was a strong black one and the other was a soft blue eyes. They were talking their own thoughts with each other. When those eyes closed for sleep it was sweet dreams which over took them.

The next day it was decided that Lakskanji and Rahul will return to their home, since they have their business and commitments to take care of. Hansaji and Viren planned to stay for a week till Gopi got betterThis news was pleasant for Aham because he will have a week with Gopi. He planned to reveal his love to her. He wanted to propose to her. Now he had his friend Viren by his side. . It seemed Viren was trying to make amends for his misunderstand.

Aham was dreaming about the ways to propose to Gopi. His morning jog was filled only with the memories of Gopi. The mist made him think of her skin, the blue sky reminded him of her eyes, the red rose was like her soft lips. He was so distracted that he did not realize that he had reached home. He mind was filled with the fragrance of flowers, Gopi smelt like them, ummmmmmmmmmmmmm

He collided with something soft and blue. The collision made him grasp the object tightly. He first thought it was his dream. If it was a dream he was ready to die for it. The soft, bluely object turned to be Gopi in his arms. Was this a dream or real?

Since i m really busy, i was not able to reply or update the FF. thank you all for you love and support without which i could not be writing this story. feel free to point out the drawbacks you find so i can change it for better.

Chapter 18

Usually his morning jog was boring. Aham used it to prepare himself both physically and mentally for the day's work. But that day was different. His mind seemed to have its own track. Each and every particle of nature was compared to Gopi. All he would like was to propose to Gopi, get the consent from their parents and marry. But something stopped him. Though he knew Gopi liked him, he did not know whether she loved him, loved him enough to marry him. With all these thoughts running in his mind Aham reached home. For a second he was hit by the fragrance of flower. He closed his eyes a inhaled it. Just then he hit something soft and to balance himself had to grip it. When he opened his eyes, he was lost. All he could see was a pair of blue eyes. It took him a few seconds to realize it was not a dream. It was indeed Gopi who he was holding in his arms. If he had the power to wish something he would wish his whole life to be like this, to be with the only person whom he loved. She was soft and warm. She gave an image of needing a protector. Yes he will be there always to protect Gopi from harm. The fact that Gopi did not resist him gave him hopes. Slowly he lowered his lips to kiss her. Gopi began to tremble with expectations. Just when he was about to kiss her, kokila shouted: Gopi beta Where are you?

The magic of the moment was broken. With a mischievous smile Gopi pulled herself from Aham and ran towards the house. For the first time in his life, Aham was angry with his mother. Her timing was bad. If only she had waited for another minute. But even that would not have been enough. Kokila could not understand the reason for the scowl on her son's face. She took it that he was tensed because of his work.

The whole week flew like an hour. It had its own ups and downs. Gopi rejected Kokila's offer of Chirag's property. She told her that if her father had trusted her so would she. She did not want any money or property all she wanted was her love and affection. Kokila was moved by gopi's goodness. She tearyly said that she reminded her of Chirag and Hetal and promised Gopi and she will not try to take her away from her family. Gopi was happy. Each day saw a new feature of Gopi, one day she cooked wonderfully, the next she was driving a car extra fast. If she was able to make a beautiful rangoli, she was also able to climb trees and pluck fruits. She was beautiful dancer and also a fiery cat that fought with her brother. After the day's encounter in the garden, Gopi was not able to meet Aham alone. For some unknown reason Aham had drawn himself into a cocoon. He was polite, kind and friendly. When he looked at Gopi it was not love but pain which she found in his eyes. Gopi could not reason why. She had been waiting for Aham to express his love; suddenly she was facing a blank wall. What had happened to change his attitude? She felt shy to ask him. Though they talked about many things, this topic was banned. More over Aham was never alone with Gopi. Even Viren was puzzled by Aham behavior. He knew very well that his friend and sister have fallen for each other. But what was the reason behind is unusual behavior? He could not find any answers. Finally the day for their departure come. Aham was not in sight. He had informed Kokila that since he had an important meeting he will be late, so there was no need to wait for him.

Gopi was dejected. She had hoped that all her suffering had come to an end. But what is this new problem of Aham avoiding her. She knew he very much enjoy and was happy to hold her. May be he was angry since she ran away from him. How could she make him realize that it was not deliberate? With a sad face and heavy heart Gopi left Modi Mansion with her mother and brother.
