Discussion of The Week

Hello Friends...
Welcome to the first Discussion of the week of our SNS Forum. As we have seen the Maha Episode of SNS and all of us are disappointed with it. So, lets begin our DOTW with this...

1.) As we have seen; Gopi has been punished by Kokila. What u guys think about it? Did Gopi deserve this for helping Rashi?

2.) Will this punishment bring any change in Aham's behavior?

3.) Will this punishment create any problem for Rashi?

4.) Kokila is always after Rashi & Gopi. Do u guys think that she must pay some attention to Kinjal also?

5.) Will Gopi be able to take part in Navratri's pooja?

Gopi doesn't actually 'deserve' so harsh a punishment....and anyway it's not like it's going to dissuade her from helping Rashi in the future...but yes..she will think twice before doing so...though in the end Rashi will manage to emotionally blackmail her.

2.) Will this punishment bring any change in Aham's behavior?

Maybe...maybe not..we have to keep our fingers crossed. Aham might use this punishment to justify his negativity about Gopi, but at the same time her tears might even make him feel sorry for her. 😃

3.) Will this punishment create any problem for Rashi?

Whenever Rashi is in a fix she is either helped by Gopi or conveniently passes on the blame to Gopi. However, since no one is allowed to talk to Gopi, Rashi will have no choice but to flounder around in her attempts to convey to Gopi what she wants her to do...she's not trained to work with mute people..forget managing a household of talking ones...😆

4.) Kokila is always after Rashi & Gopi. Do u guys think that she must pay some attention to Kinjal also?

She already has her nazar on Kinjal..with Rashi and Gopi it's easy to shout at..but Kinjal is a sly fox..for such people you have to be like a hunter and wait in the bushes..strike when the opportunity is right...😆

5.) Will Gopi be able to take part in Navratri's pooja?

Well, maybe indirectly..like she will look in a mirror and see Matarani's pooja the way she saw Aham's reflection while applying sindoor..something will happen due to which she will manage to manaofy her Navratri..though it might get her into trouble with Koki. 😕

The punishment seemed pretty harsh to me considering the 'crime'. I understand that Koki was trying to make a point, but why do it in front of the whole family? I've learned that you should always praise in public and discipline in private. Why didn't Koki take her aside, and with love, say, "Gopi honey, Rashi is using you. You can't see it because you've grown up with it and don't know any better, but you need to not let her manipulate you. etc. etc. etc." Gopi probably would have learned more and been less humiliated. By punishing Gopi in front of the entire family, it gives Aham permission to do the same. This was heartbreaking to me.

2.) Will this punishment bring any change in Aham's behavior?

Maybe. We don't know enough about Aham's character to even begin to guess. If he indeed has a heart, it may start to feel for Gopi. If not, then this is the justification he needs to continue his ill treatment of her. Time will tell.

3.) Will this punishment create any problem for Rashi?

Probably not. Rashi has suffered very few consequences for her mistakes. There is nothing in the past that suggest that she will be held accountable for any wrong doing.

4.) Kokila is always after Rashi & Gopi. Do u guys think that she must pay some attention to Kinjal also?

She definitely should pay more attention to Kinjal, especially now that she knows Kinjal lied about the jewelry. Going back to the 'praise in public, discipline in private' saying, Koki did discipline Kinjal in private. This is a major character flaw in Koki. Why hide Kinjal's blatant lies, but broadcast Gopi's small mistakes? The CVs blew it on this one. Big time.

5.) Will Gopi be able to take part in Navratri's pooja?

Who knows. I hope so. I hope that she is able to have at least 5 seconds of happiness with Aham. Heaven knows we need to see 5 seconds of happiness of her with Aham!
