Mihir - The d*uchebag

I was a child when KKSBKBT was on air before. But man oh man, I knew they had people mailing and petitioning about bringing back Mihir back in the days. Why did people just accept Tulsi forgiving Mihir after cheating on her?! Thats ridiculous! And the Mandira chapter is Canon in this season as well. The way Mihir speaks to Tulsi, talks about family issues with another woman, and has the audacity to shut his wife down, I would drop kick this clown. Why did Tulsi continue a life with a prick like him? And why did the audience just accept it?

He was not like this in season 1... he cared about tulsi... this mihir is something else....

Nobody would have cried for such a loser...

But Mihir still cheated on Tulsi. He had a child with Mandira. I don't even know how the audience accepted Mihir and Tulsi together after that. And this season's Mihir is something else. Imagine birthing this losers children, giving decades of your life raising his family and this is how he speaks to you. Such a scum.

Mihir honestly didn’t deserve the smooth forgiveness he got in S1. He had a one night stand with Mandira, broke Tulsi’s trust, and yet the story allowed him to move forward without truly earning back her trust and respect. That’s not the behavior of a strong husband it just showed weakness and selfishness of Mihir. Ideally she shud not have forgiven him but story demanded Tulsi accepting back Mihir coz she was a Sanskaari lady and sanskaar in ITV logic is directly proportional to forgiving sins of husband. Tulsi forgave him not because he deserved it, but because the show wrote her as the “ideal wife” who always puts family above self. Back then I believe audience accepted this because they were used to seeing the woman sacrifice and keep the household intact, no matter what. So I suppose Tulsi staying was presented as noble and strong, when in reality, it was unfair to her.

The truth is, people loved the Tulsi Mihir pairing so much that they overlooked his flaws. As far as I have read Kyunki was supposed to be a story of widow remarriage. She was supposed to marry Anupam but there was nationwide outcry to bring back Mihir and story was changed. But from today’s perspective, it’s clear Tulsi carried that marriage with her dignity, while Mihir stumbled to his temptations and the script gave him more grace than he really earned.

In short I would say Tulsi continued life with Mihir because the narrative demanded sacrifice, and audience were rooting for Mihir-Tulsi. But tbh Tulsi deserved far better than what she got.

He was same in S1 also , he tried to raise his hand on tulsi twice, first due to Payal and second time due to Mandira but back then tulsi fought back and showed him aukaat along with mother . Tulsi was fire back then .

I really don’t like this Mihir . Iska alag hi tune chalti h but on a serious note his behaviour with tulsi and in general is pathetic . Who does kaccha pakka papad nonsense at the age of 60 and sharing family issues with outsiders not a good move . Ghar ki baat Khar me rahe to Accha , pari so same to same like Mihir , she is following Mihir in blaming tulsi and hyping Noina .

Actually even Mihir doubted Tulsi of cheating on him in season 1 along with family when Harsh truth was out that he wasn't Tulsi son..Imagine that cheater was doubting Tulsi..

I meant before dying!!! I started bit late, so not seen the payal scene...

Before dying there was no other woman angle... he hated payal more than tulsi hated her.

I think, he was pretending. He got the real truth out.. faint memories... but that is what I remember

I saw few scenes on insta so can't remember properly but Tulsi was confronting all in that..Who knows u r right but that Mihir was always pathetic even in s1
